Omg that gp roast, I've been complaining about those stupid top ten coaster accidents thumbnails for years, and how ignorant some of the creators are.
Those videos drive me insane. I can't stand them, and refuse to watch them just because of their thumbnails. They're deceptive, inaccurate, and only make people think rides are dangerous.

Why does everyone have a friend that swears they almost flew out of some roller coaster? Literally every roller coaster I've ever been on that doesn't have OTS restraints has seat belts beneath the lap bars that you TIGHTEN to the point of no budging.
Ya know, one time several years ago, my lap bar came up on this old wooden coaster and my older brother had to hold me down lol. I wouldn't say my life was in danger tho cuz we were past the more intense parts of the ride.

Ive been on way to many coasters that only have a seatbelt including those stupid seatbelt over the shoulder restraints the one i rode with them is super cyclone at santas village in east dundee islinois the only coaster that did not have a seatbelt had a LAP BAR AND WAS A KIDDY COASTER same layout as wisdom rides miner mike coaster eccept a small airtime hill after the first drop.all these only hade seatbelts that i went on first 3 at indiana beach those are tig'gr ,hoosier huricane, and lost coaster of spuerstation mountain thats it,

These rides are the only ones that truly scare me even though I know they’re safe. My whole family is GP. It’s why I can’t get to more parks. Those I almost died on a roller coaster videos annoy me to no end.

Until today, I thought that I was a bit GP. Then I saw that video. And I was like, "Jeez, I'm LeBron James compared to that guy..."
On the Skyjump the scariest part is just stepping off the edge. You then get less than a second of the sensation of falling (you're still accelerating but aside from the very beginning, resistance from the winch is keeping your acceleration well below 9.8m/s^2). Once you get the security feeling of the winch pulling on your harness, it stops being scary.
If they could just double the speed of the winch you'd get a much better sensation of falling (albeit at the expense of a shorter ride and much heavier deceleration at the end).
Much better than the Lagoon Roller Coaster parody. This one wasn't your best but it was decent. The GP part was hilarious and makes me do a face palm.

Thinking about it, a chair swing at the top of a hotel would probably be the most terrifying ride possible.

Man, when I went on the Big Shot (it's been maybe a decade), it wasn't a bouncer. It just launched you up and immediately dropped you down, giving you the weirdest airtime. The ride was over in about ten seconds, and maybe that's why they changed it, but it was at least a more intense ten seconds.
