Wow thanks Robert this was super fun to watch! I learned to leave my concealer on longer before blending from Jackie Aina. And I always use powders even thought I don't have oily skin because I feel like my under eyes and around my mouth crease after a while if I don't. But this was so great! I will definitely try the eyeshadow technique you suggested!

One day you could try applying product and then lightly blotting excess off with a piece or tissue then a light powder. I did this and it made a huge difference

Lol wow! I have deeply dark skin and I wish tans faded that fast. I was on a plane a few weeks ago, and from sitting next to the window - with copious amounts of sunscreen - I got such a deep tan. I see the contrast from the untanned demarcation on my nose where my glasses sat.
@@antipower It is for me, but I live in an area that is always summer so I just have 3 foundations I need to rotate between depending on how much I'm outdoors?
For my light median olive skin, my tan never fades:O! Might be because I’m Asian cause we tan easily

I baked once. I looked absolutely horrible. It made me look like I was soooooooo much older. I thought I had done it wrong. It kind of discouraged me to not try anything new for a while. I find out from Robert that I wasn't. Made me feel so much better. And now I can thank him for my k beauty addiction. But I found so many good products from his recommendations!

I think Robert has been/is currently successful in his mission to help us become better at makeup in real-life situations. (Quick shout out to James too because I'm just now learning so much important skincare information from his channel.) He explains things in a way that's so simple to understand and remember - I've gotten several comments about improvement in my makeup skills since I've started watching Robert's videos - most of them on blending eyeshadow. And he's just such a gem to listen to while I learn!

All these influences are so young. I wish I could tell them how fresh and beautiful they are, and they don't need to be so heavy handed with concealer and powder, in particular.
Tbh even if you're older, you don't need a lot of concealer and powder. It enhances the fine lines and I look 10 years older if I use too much powder especially. I look younger without foundation or concealer, but I also look sick because of my pale skin and eyebags lol
So I put a BB cream and a little bit of concealer, and a cloud of translucent powder.

Many of the Western Brand discontinued their cushions, I guess they never caught on. I loved the L’Oréal one and wish I had bought backups.
yeah the only ones you can find/buy in western brands are luxury ones
@@莉娜-g7k Wet and Wild has a limited shade range. Or did they discontinue making them?
I know yesstyle has empty ones that you can buy so you could put in your own foundation. (Because the color range is very light and limited.) Don't know if that would work. At least they did a couple of weeks ago. But they do stop carrying things with no warning so 🤷♀️

@@dawnsherratt2317 I haven’t seen it in stores but I am in the U.S so not sure about other markets, but from walking in stores. L’Oréal is gone, Maybelline is gone, Lancôme also seem to have discontinue all of theirs. I recently bought the EM cosmetics one and as much as I find it okay, I can pretty much guess why these never made it in the Western market. I’m a lazy person with pretty decent skin so I appreciate them but gosh, you get barely any product for what was a whopping $48. I wish L’oreal would bring back theirs.

I have taken to practicing more now rather than just learning theory. I just find learning theory more relaxing than practicing 😅
