the media leads you to believe that all these places are so dangerous and americans shouldnt go there but between the sailing and motorcycle travel videos it shows all over the world people are for the most part are good kind and very generous .love this channel thanks for sharing your adventures with this new subscriber
I love being part of your great adventure, albeit a passive viewer from New MX. Your family is a delight. When I was your age I did the same kind of traveling....around the world. On foot, and spent a lot of time in Greece and Turkey. It is wonderful to revisit with you.
Summer of 23 i flew all the way from cali to turkey for two weeks and visited, Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Antalya. Honestly it was such a magical experience. I miss it so much!
I religiously watch several sailing TH-camr's and want to say that you two are my absolute favorites. Your style of commentary, relationship and exploration are more intelligent, well edited, interesting, etc., etc. Love your family to bits and it's great to see the parts of Turkey from the water that I did not get to see whilst there.
WOW. I can't believe the quality, beauty and wonder your videos have become. I appreciate the effort that must go into posting them each week. The magnificence and beauty of Turkey was certainly unknown to me but your filming has opened my eyes. You guys have come so far. I rank you my number One of all the sailing Sites I have been subscribed to for years. Great work yet again. I look forward to next week.
The boat supermarket was so cool. It was so nice of the restaurant owners to invite you to their family home. Like a behind the scenes look at how life is in this region. Awesome episode Buds.
It has beautiful scenes. The place you have been in for about 20 minutes is an ancient rainwater harvesting infrastructure. People used to collect rainwater and drink it during the summer. You were probably walking on the Lycian Way. It starts from Fethiye, and you can walk until Antalya. Enjoy our lovely country!
well it is actually mostly advertisement. Cause it is run by big company.. hmm I guess we can call it Costco of Europe and they have shops in Turkiye too.
I have been living in States over 30 years. This is my final year here in USA, going back home permanently. Trust me buddy Turkiye is a amazing part from heaven.
Speaking of smelling the Sierras, as you got out of your boat to start the hike…it looks exactly like Lake Tahoe. Really beautiful there, loving your trip around Turkey.
Wow absolutely stunning guys and that experience on the land with the locals up in the mountains was pretty neat. Must say your daughter is becoming very smilie. Stunning scenery that you guys always capture. Thank you 😊
Great video. We know these places well. We are sitting at Tersane island just a few miles outside Gocek. Shame you did not get down as far as Kekover or Finike. They are even better. We posted some videos that will show you how good it is East of Gocek. Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid
Isa seem to be a very happy and smiling child, it is great to see her growing up......great episode, you are doing a great job of showcasing Turkey , still think you should try to sell you footage to the Turkish tourist board.....normally tourist boards/ bureaus spend tons of money sending out crews, paying for boats, planes, hotels, per diems and salaries to get you you are making for us. Keep up the good work, Saturday morning coffee with Atticus, is week end routine...Cheers
Yes yet again a GREAT episode. Thanks. Again what sets you apart from most sailing/travel VLOG's is your combination of great photography, professional dialog super drone shots and more than the sailing adventure as well as the challenge's but the local part of the world. As I was watching I thought "Not the Turkey i see on the news or travel stuff" More MUCH more of the real every day life, the people, the daily life style and a much more realistic (?) view of the world we NEVER see otherwise. Gives me a really good feeling about the world today outside the political cocoon we see on TV. As a side note what a great future adventure for your children to see you and them in there youth as well as the wonderful things they experienced even though they were likely to young to appreciate and remember at the time. Keep it up so those of us here can experience the world through your eyes and get a more realistic view of the human condition and the extreme beauty of this little blue marble we call home.
Wow that's a very beautiful country! The people are very friendly, which makes it easier for travelers. That storm was crazy! I remember, I was sailing in Quebec and I anchored in this very beautiful bay with very high mountains. I figured what a very protected place. But one am a storm came through, and the wind barreled down the mountains. Man I taught it was over! But we survived. I learned from that lesson! When are you planning on sailing to the Caribbean? Stay safe from the east coast of Canada 🇨🇦
Fun fact about the supermarket boat: MİGROS is a 100% Turkish company. They started as a joint venture with the Swiss company MIGROS (note the missing dot on the I) but several decades ago, they got separated. One major difference is; Swiss MIGROS does NOT sell alcohol, because of of Christian beliefs o fthe owning family, but the Turkish MİGROS has a wide selection of RAKI and also lesser tasty alcoholic drinks like beer, whisk(e)y, Vodka etc.
Good Morning SPA. This is my Saturday routine. Wake up. Let’s the dogs out. Pour a big cup of coffee and check up on you guys. Have a great rest of your day.
Ozo and Isabella hanging out are so cute. Desiree you can make your own ice cream in a Mason jar very easy, google it. Jordan you picked a great Anchorage, can't wait till next week's episode ❤
i am so blessed by your story,as an old traveller of 77 now retired in australia, victor harbor,SA old sailer in my 30=40 yrs self crewed cockpit managed sloop.
Such a beautiful video wandering thru the ruins with you. Amazing and yep, bet it was a tomb. Isabella is growing so fast oh my goodness and her smile is so sweet! Jordan you make these videos so simplistic yet filled with so much great information. Blessings and happy sails to you all! ❤️
Beautiful coastine in Turkiye. Such a clear sea reminds me of Adriatic. Very nice journey guys, enjoy. btw Jordan, taking apart plumbing of that toilet and repaire it properly would save you ordering some extra stuff... u know the score, dry it out, leyer of silicone, top it up with leak proof tape and such, problem solved for years to come...:)) even melting material with open flame can do the trick... however keeping the boat in mint condition is diferent cup of tea
Back when people lived in that time, that was their job, stone carving. Not needed now, it became obsolete. And then destroyed by earthquakes. Sad really. Love this video!!
I came across your posts back during the pandemic when you were in Panama. Since then, kind of like hawkeye you've become part of a Saturday routine. Since I watch this, YT algorithms will pop up other similar channels, but they don't catch me and I realized, watching today, why. There is a genuineness to you all I connect with. Yes, it is a show, but yet you all do so well in making not a show, but just a day, like friends telling stories to other friends. As a life time sailor, now more horse farm owner there are moments when I'm like "more sailing please", but then you show us so much more, not just of the water, but the land, the people. I remember when in Germany I walked around the ruins of a castle and had the similar feelings and thoughts about those who built it and lived there. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
@bucc5062 Me, too! I think I started following them shortly before the pandemic, when they got stuck in Panama. I am Panamanian and was really impressed first by the quality of themselves as really nice, good-hearted people, but also how knowledgeable and warm they are. Jordan is not only a sailing boat wizard, he is also a philosopher, photo/image talent/editor, as well as archaelogist 😀, but Desirée is an amazing person, an inspiration as a woman who is not afraid to deal with all kinds of challenges, beginning with motherhood, doing it from a sailing boat. And what can we not say about the cuteness of Isabella and her guardian angel Oso? 🙂
Guys, you are pulling off such complicated travels, it's unbelievable, but your videos are the proof! Managing that boat through the oceans is not for the faint of heart! Respect!
You guys are looking great! Isa seems to be a natural on the boat and she’s so cute. What a great idea of a floating store! I’ve seen food serving boats but not a store. Keep up the great work. Cheers 🍻
I can't believe how amazing your story telling and all your episodes have become. Been watching for years and so impressed how you've both...oops, all three of you (sorry Isa!) have grown into master story tellers. You remind me of a good friend, Steve Patterson. Started with him in news and he quickly mastered story telling. Named dropped him out of sincere respect for you guys. Check out some any of his stories on live with kathy and mark. Love you guys! Keep it up and thank you for your hard work.
Love you guys! Thanks for taking us on your adventures. There was one drone shot that was incredibly beautiful -- at the ancient temple! That floating grocery store was awesome. Safe travels. ❤
Oh my goodness, Isabella is SOO darned cute!! I bet she will be a heart breaker in her teen years...lol I love your videos so much for all the right reasons. Keep up the good work and be safe always, from the Philippines.
Welcome to my beautiful country. You are truly a wonderful family and thank you for accompanying us on your beautiful journey full of experiences. If one day you come to the Çanakkale (Dardanelles), I would be more than happy to host you here in Lapseki district. Everything you get your heart desires.
Absolutely a beautiful video! I wish you needed crew, I would be there in a flash! Isabella looks so beautiful and happy! I’m so happy you chose to start your family and introduce her to this wonderful life! I miss the food there!
We had Tea in that back yard you walked through with a visit to the Mosque, lovely people. Kapi Creek is beautiful. P.S. we are your worst nightmare, flotilla sailors 😂😂
Been watching you for 4 or 5 years since back in your Panama days this is one of your best videos! Shots of the anchorages around Greece are looking amazing and clear watrying to show our family how good greece looks so we can take our boat someday. Slow down the Anchorage shots so we can convince in laws boat life is good!
Die wissen über Türkiye noch gar nichts. Türkiye würde Sie in jeder hinschicht sehr überraschen. Fasst jeder ,der Türkiye besucht ,verliebt sich in Türkiye. Das können Sie mir glauben. .
Regarding those tombs with the bones, I forget whether it was the Balkan Peninsula , southeast Russia or central Asia, but there is an ancient culture of death tombs that belong to families. Family members who die get taken to the family tomb. What you found looks abandoned. I've also seen them in Central Asia (I think Kyrgyzstan). Sometimes the tombs look like small houses, and from all the tombs, like a small town.
18:43 Awsome, my favourite Buds in some or our favourite family cruising areas. It's great to see you at all the places we've extensively sailed/ walked to. Fabulous episode!!
I just visited turkey. Nicest place I visited in all my travels
👍❤
thank you, we wait again🤘
the media leads you to believe that all these places are so dangerous and americans shouldnt go there but between the sailing and motorcycle travel videos it shows all over the world people are for the most part are good kind and very generous .love this channel thanks for sharing your adventures with this new subscriber
Mobile grocery boat=best idea EVER!

Kommen Sie doch Irgendwann mal wieder zurück nach Türkiye.❤
Kayaking around ruins... You really need to see Kekova Island near Kaş. It is literally a sunken ancient city.
A groceey boat is a level of amazing i have never seen.
Wow, thank you!
Mee too
Me three
Really enjoyed this week seeing the family and all the beautiful scenery. Nice job with the videography and editing.
Me four
What a beautiful place and the people were so friendly and welcoming.
Can’t get over how clear the water is,would never leave 😊

We live in Europe and been to Turkey many times. But never had imagined hoe beautiful uit really is!! Thank you for taking us with you ❤
It has beautiful scenes. The place you have been in for about 20 minutes is an ancient rainwater harvesting infrastructure. People used to collect rainwater and drink it during the summer. You were probably walking on the Lycian Way. It starts from Fethiye, and you can walk until Antalya. Enjoy our lovely country!
I'm glad you are in Turkey, we love you very much, stay here longer, have a nice trip.
I’m on the North Coast of Turkey 🇹🇷 guys! I was in Ankara last week and experienced that Hamam Jordan!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Amazing 🤩
So that grocery boat was the coolest, and what a concept. In high sailing season I bet they make a ton of money.
well it is actually mostly advertisement. Cause it is run by big company.. hmm I guess we can call it Costco of Europe and they have shops in Turkiye too.
I think baby gets you into places others might not get to. She's so cute and happy :) Everyone loves her.
Hi Jordan,
This is Kemal, your neighbor in Symi port. It was great meeting you all…
Hope you will reach Porto Budva safely
❤️
You are very lucky to have the honor of seeing the beauties of my country!🇹🇷🌹😎
Just wow. I admire my own country again
I have been living in States over 30 years. This is my final year here in USA, going back home permanently. Trust me buddy Turkiye is a amazing part from heaven.
I keep bicycle inner tubes on board to fix hose issues. Cut it to the right size and pull over. Works really well.
Thanks for once again making me feel lazy for not exploring the world! Turkey is definitely our next family vacation!
Little Isabella is the living image of her dad!.Go well little family.
Speaking of smelling the Sierras, as you got out of your boat to start the hike…it looks exactly like Lake Tahoe. Really beautiful there, loving your trip around Turkey.
Made me brave enough to fly to Europe, buy a new type of boat and just explore and man, keep it up, absolutely LOVE you content x
Wow absolutely stunning guys and that experience on the land with the locals up in the mountains was pretty neat. Must say your daughter is becoming very smilie. Stunning scenery that you guys always capture. Thank you 😊
Thank you, beautiful family, for introducing our country so beautifully. May the wind be at your back and the sea be calm.
Great video. We know these places well. We are sitting at Tersane island just a few miles outside Gocek. Shame you did not get down as far as Kekover or Finike. They are even better. We posted some videos that will show you how good it is East of Gocek. Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid

The best Sailing Atticus episode ever!

Didn't know Turkey was like this
Die wissen über Türkiye noch gar nichts. Türkiye würde Sie in jeder hinschicht sehr überraschen.

Das können Sie mir glauben. .
Yes, you thought turkey was a desert and even had camels. Right?
Yeah sorry for the disappointment but we really don’t ride camels 🤷♂️
I live in turkey. im 38 years old. i never see 1 Camel in turkey😂
Turkey has a Mediterranean climate like Greece and Italy.

Very cool
This adventure just keeps getting better and better!
Was amazed at the size of that supermarket boat.
