Yes. I previously used a RS net and It felt like I was netting fish with a barbell. I still like to use my RS net for Musky but the Ranger net is perfect for salmon trolling. super lightweight and the basket is the perfect size to eliminate tangles, but still big enough to net 30 pounders.
@@kirkc5823 Northwinds cooled it down last time I was out. South of the point was still 49 to 50° but everything from there to Pentwater was in the mid to low 40s. I will be out of Pentwater tomorrow. Message me if you need a report.

Most of our fish came 30ft to 50ft down over 130 to 150 fow
