nice a bit of an overkill, but I love it. I made a similar on my channel but I used a micro servo.
Use it for soap and add a 20 second timer that beeps when washing time is up

Si se puede amigo, pues en el código leerías los valores analógicos para calibrar la distancia a la que quieres que se active.

This is quite a basic function, you dont need arduino for this...
If sensor detect, push down 3 seconds then release using spring..its done

Can we change the driver with L293D Without changing the code ?
No. L293 is for DC motor. It works by signal controlled not Command.
You need other algorithm to controll

Nice! Arduino original device explains the choice of external power supply is (5V ~ 9V), you provide the circuit diagram with external 12V power supply, is there any problem?

Best to make it a bit stronger, replace the wood with foodgrade stainless steel and add a few extra guide rails.

An interesting solution that's not needed. Ok, the top of the plunger is dirty so the palm of hand pushes the plunger gets dirty rub palm together hand no dirty anymore; original solution.
