So, let's talk about the Olay in the security boxes. I am an esthetician I used to work for Walgreens and work with beuty there. The reason why Olay is in those boxes is because it is the MOST thefted line. I am not joking you. There are several locations where we had to put limited supplies out. The same goes for No7. It is not a ploy, but a real life thing that happens.

I tried Byoma before I saw Sarah from No Bs Beauty review/talk about them or Dr Dray, so my opinion wasn’t influenced by them, but I loved Byoma’s face mist, cleanser, and moisturizers (both). I didn’t like the cleanser’s pump or the face mist’s pump. The face mist was like getting hit with a supersoaker and the pump for the cleanser only pumps droplets. Also, I had to use a spatula to get the last bit of the moisturizers cause I couldn’t pump anymore out. But they’re not huge issues for me. lol. I still love them.
The face mist should come with instructions 🤣 if you slowly press down u get a fine mist instead of a squirt! Thank me later 💛 I also love the gel cream! The cleanser was too drying for me

I was so excited because I have been searching for a mist or toner I can put in a mist bottle, to use to help penetration and use between skincare products and the packaging was so cute on this and ingredients good so I was sure the mister was going to be a nice light barely there kiss of moisture but after opening and testing it out tonight I was highly disappointed and ended up using my hands to rub in the huge drip going down my face, not nice at all but just now after reading your comment I pulled the bottle back out and tried to go slow and although not perfect it was waaaay better and a nicer experience. As an European I don't have access to many brands you recommend (but I love the Ordinary!!). I believe these above have also good products and are good brands and I would love to hear your opinion about them!
OMG Cassandra such a fun video I love it when you go on Target/Walmart runs. I swear I added quite a few items to my Target shopping cart, you're the reason I spend so much money on skincare 😂. The Versed Gel cream was my go to when I first started my skincare journey also thanks to you ♥️. I came across Byoma on my own so far I've only tried the brightening serum and it's pretty good. I've wanted to try their jelly cleanser but right now I'm hooked on the Hero clear collective jelly cleanser which has really helped improved my skin's texture and black heads. Versed dew point moisturizer mixed with the Hero sunscreen is perfect for daytime(i have dry skin)...they both have virtually no scent, feels refreshing and give perfect balance of moisture. And seeing u approve the Versed retinol serum makes me want it now lol Also Byoma seems like a rly solid brand too

Would you do a full review of Byoma and their ingredients? So far I'm loving their gel cleanser & light moisturizer but I'm so curious about the other products, too. I've recently been diagnosed with Rosacea so I'm trying to find good products that I can get at the store to help💗
I really like Byoma! They seem like an intentionally simply brand but on purpose. I hate the cleanser pump and it actually stung my eyes. But the texture was great. But the gel moisturizer and Niacinamide serum I enjoyed. Fun video, hope whatever’s going on in your life improves!
So I’m not the only one! I thought I just got a bad batch. My cleanser only pumps droplets. Not a huge issue, it’s just annoying. Mine also stung my eyes, so I shut my eyes extra tight lol
I absolutely love the cocokind sunscreen! It's definitely for people with dryer skin though. It's very hydrating but lightweight and gives a very glowy/dewy finish. You do have to rub it in and it might leave a bit of white cast on darker skin tones. But I love that it's hydrating but very lightweight on the skin and pretty much unscented!
This was the most fun, crazy, happy vid I've seen in a while. So much good info and you seem to have such fun. Reminds me that skincare should be fun too. But I must say, the inkey list oat cleansing balm... No way... I've got combo mature skin that is sensitive to certain things but other than that it's hardy but that cleanser broke me out so bad... My entire jawline is riddled, my t zone and my chest.. It left me greasy and didn't get rid of my mascara at all. Ended up having to wash with the salicylic acid cleanser twice just to get the oat cleanser off my skin. Never again 😔 Went back to my micellar water for waterproof make-up as first "cleanser"
I like the Byoma moisturizer in the lavender pump (haven't tried the other), but it's a bit heavy for my face in warm weather. Even so, it works great as an inexpensive eye cream.
This is going to seem counter productive to this video... BUT do you think a person should change up their routine each day? OR if you're using target treatments for different things, should I only use 1-2 targeted treatment products for like a long period of time? Like a month? I guess my real question is that I have a lot of products and they're somewhat for different things. I alternate them out all the time, is changing it up daily a good thing? Or am I not focusing one product for enough time to get good results?
I have never heard about that. I use the Hero Patches and Starface and they're both great at sucking out the pimple and keeping you from picking at them. I SO LOVE Pacifica's Vitamin C blurring primer/serum. I always use it under my sunscreen and it makes me look more dewy and glowy than without them

I have an olive undertone so I get dark spots after every scratch or pimple. I am currently using mandelic acid treatment from Inkey list and I feel it is helping
LOVE the hero wand especially under my eyes but I would get the mini one ever time and I don’t use the ball direct on my face I put it on my finger upside down and then put on my dark spots
Susan was actually shady in how she introduced her brand so a lot of people were instantly put off by that! I really didn’t like the fact that she was hyping up these new products while purposefully withholding the fact that they were, in fact, her own!

Oh sis… the Byoma serums are basic! There’s very little Blue tansy oil in that I’ve used it. Helps minor breakouts due to the pha but there’s better on the market IMO
i disagree! i have rosacea, and it was just enough exfoliation to keep my acne clear and not piss my skin off haha. i do use a salicylic acid once a week, and faded by topicals twice a week too though.
@@oliveradams786 you disagree about what? Yes the pha is enough for gentle exfoliation which is what helps with breakouts but she specifically called out blue tansy and there’s very little included is all I’m saying

The hydrating serum is nice but they could have included more hydrating ingredients so it’s nothing special but it feels nice on the skin.. doesn’t pill up or leave an oil slick/shiny finish but I’m very interested in hearing your thoughts!

There are quite a few products I want to try that you got…Byoma, Zitsticka Lightening Wand and I love their micro darts!! You should check out Unrefined…especially their Tinted Sunscreen!! Both James Welsh and Dr Dray have said great things about that product!! When it comes to Cocokind, I’ve tried a few things and one product I really liked was their Tumeric stick!! It really works to improve scars and sun damage on my skin!! I had a friend comment about a scar I have on my arm and how it looked so much better/faded and I was using that product. Verseed is one of my favorite brands from Target!! I’ve had such great results from many of their products and most recently, love their Retinol Body Lotion!! Could you do a new video reviewing Beauty Pie? I really want to do the 60 day trial and get quite a few products…but I would love to hear about “must have/great” products because so many sound great!!
Love the retinol microdarts face patch idea, please seek out a patent soon, unless somebody already got the jump on you. On topic, lately at Target I've come across some great finds. For context, my skin falls in the 30-45 age category, fairly normal sebum production so I don't worry too much about dryness with minimal makeup on average, and sporadic rare breakouts around that time of month or stress moments. Also, as needed, depending on time of day and atmospheric/skin conditions , bare faced or before makeup, I use a few drops of organic jojoba oil (even the non organic from the same company just doesn't absorb as well) & rosehip seed oil, hyaluronic acid/Vitamin C/collagen serums, SPF in 50 or higher and wash my hands with Hibiclens liquid soap before touching my face (if it's good enough for surgical washes & wound cleansing, wouldn't hurt to use before product application). My favorites so far are: * Byoma's gel cleanser (a lot of cleansers available from brick and mortar tend to be either too harsh or emollient, so this was a just right find. So much so, I purchased 4 bottles.) *Hero supercharged face mist (before, during and post makeup or or barefaced throughout the day, really like the vaguely minty scent, not overpowering at all) *Hero microdarts (for the rare but huge face and body spots) *Boots No.7 bakuchiol & niacinamide serums (in a pinch this line can closely dupe for single ingredient products from lines like The Ordinary & Inky List and the pricing is similar. Watch the caps though, they stay on and seal out air very well so minimal chance of contamination but suction powah!) *Sun Bum face 30 spf sunscreen mist (a little coconutty but reapplies well over makeup, yay!) That hydration powder product looks interesting, might mask the muddiness/aftertaste by adding it to chilled water and stirring in some sliced strawberries, lemon/oranges & fresh mint. And I have the pore mask but haven't tried it yet, but will give it a go very soon.
None of these products are available in Australia but you're just so fun to watch. I woke up with a huge cystic pimple in my nostril, I can't make any facial expression without feeling pain. Whyyy.

I think it’s cause the general populace that isn’t as educated with skincare, generally think Olay is the “luxury” brand. So it gets stolen more often. But honestly I don’t like getting down that rabbit hole, because a lot of times products for curly or kinky hair is also under lock and key and it shows some racial bias as well. My local Walmart is like that. I remember that Walmart got called out on that at some point as well. At my CVS they have a pureology shampoo and conditioner which are super expensive sitting out in the open and yet the deodorants are locked. Go figure.

I really like Byoma! They seem like an intentionally simply brand but on purpose. I hate the cleanser pump and it actually stung my eyes. But the texture was great. But the gel moisturizer and Niacinamide serum I enjoyed.

So I’m not the only one! I thought I just got a bad batch. My cleanser only pumps droplets. Not a huge issue, it’s just annoying. Mine also stung my eyes, so I shut my eyes extra tight lol
Ouch! Sorry to hear that 😬 I didn’t like the cleanser because it was very drying on my dry skin and left my face raw! But the gel cream I do enjoy!
I absolutely love the cocokind sunscreen! It's definitely for people with dryer skin though. It's very hydrating but lightweight and gives a very glowy/dewy finish. You do have to rub it in and it might leave a bit of white cast on darker skin tones. But I love that it's hydrating but very lightweight on the skin and pretty much unscented!

But I must say, the inkey list oat cleansing balm... No way... I've got combo mature skin that is sensitive to certain things but other than that it's hardy but that cleanser broke me out so bad... My entire jawline is riddled, my t zone and my chest..
It left me greasy and didn't get rid of my mascara at all. Ended up having to wash with the salicylic acid cleanser twice just to get the oat cleanser off my skin.
Never again 😔 Went back to my micellar water for waterproof make-up as first "cleanser"
I like the Byoma moisturizer in the lavender pump (haven't tried the other), but it's a bit heavy for my face in warm weather. Even so, it works great as an inexpensive eye cream.

OR if you're using target treatments for different things, should I only use 1-2 targeted treatment products for like a long period of time? Like a month? I have never heard about that. I use the Hero Patches and Starface and they're both great at sucking out the pimple and keeping you from picking at them. I SO LOVE Pacifica's Vitamin C blurring primer/serum. I always use it under my sunscreen and it makes me look more dewy and glowy than without them

Oh sis… the Byoma serums are basic! There’s very little Blue tansy oil in that I’ve used it. Helps minor breakouts due to the pha but there’s better on the market IMO
i disagree! i have rosacea, and it was just enough exfoliation to keep my acne clear and not piss my skin off haha. i do use a salicylic acid once a week, and faded by topicals twice a week too though.

The hydrating serum is nice but they could have included more hydrating ingredients so it’s nothing special but it feels nice on the skin.. doesn’t pill up or leave an oil slick/shiny finish but I’m very interested in hearing your thoughts!

This was alot of fun. I learned about some great new products.
There are quite a few products I want to try that you got…Byoma, Zitsticka Lightening Wand and I love their micro darts!! You should check out Unrefined…especially their Tinted Sunscreen!! Both James Welsh and Dr Dray have said great things about that product!! When it comes to Cocokind, I’ve tried a few things and one product I really liked was their Tumeric stick!! It really works to improve scars and sun damage on my skin!! I had a friend comment about a scar I have on my arm and how it looked so much better/faded and I was using that product. Verseed is one of my favorite brands from Target!! I’ve had such great results from many of their products and most recently, love their Retinol Body Lotion!! Could you do a new video reviewing Beauty Pie? I really want to do the 60 day trial and get quite a few products…but I would love to hear about “must have/great” products because so many sound great!!

Love the retinol microdarts face patch idea, please seek out a patent soon, unless somebody already got the jump on you. On topic, lately at Target I've come across some great finds.
For context, my skin falls in the 30-45 age category, fairly normal sebum production so I don't worry too much about dryness with minimal makeup on average, and sporadic rare breakouts around that time of month or stress moments.
Also, as needed, depending on time of day and atmospheric/skin conditions , bare faced or before makeup, I use a few drops of organic jojoba oil (even the non organic from the same company just doesn't absorb as well) & rosehip seed oil, hyaluronic acid/Vitamin C/collagen serums, SPF in 50 or higher and wash my hands with Hibiclens liquid soap before touching my face (if it's good enough for surgical washes & wound cleansing, wouldn't hurt to use before product application).
My favorites so far are:
* Byoma's gel cleanser (a lot of cleansers available from brick and mortar tend to be either too harsh or emollient, so this was a just right find. So much so, I purchased 4 bottles.)
*Hero supercharged face mist (before, during and post makeup or or barefaced throughout the day, really like the vaguely minty scent, not overpowering at all)
*Hero microdarts (for the rare but huge face and body spots)
*Boots No.7 bakuchiol & niacinamide serums (in a pinch this line can closely dupe for single ingredient products from lines like The Ordinary & Inky List and the pricing is similar. Watch the caps though, they stay on and seal out air very well so minimal chance of contamination but suction powah!)
*Sun Bum face 30 spf sunscreen mist (a little coconutty but reapplies well over makeup, yay!)
That hydration powder product looks interesting, might mask the muddiness/aftertaste by adding it to chilled water and stirring in some sliced strawberries, lemon/oranges & fresh mint.
And I have the pore mask but haven't tried it yet, but will give it a go very soon.

I think it’s cause the general populace that isn’t as educated with skincare, generally think Olay is the “luxury” brand. So it gets stolen more often. But honestly I don’t like getting down that rabbit hole, because a lot of times products for curly or kinky hair is also under lock and key and it shows some racial bias as well. My local Walmart is like that. I remember that Walmart got called out on that at some point as well. At my CVS they have a pureology shampoo and conditioner which are super expensive sitting out in the open and yet the deodorants are locked. Go figure.
How is taking measures to prevent theft a racial bias? Don't stores put Olay under lock and key? Whom are they targeting (pun intended) there? Why would you extrapolate that black people are the only ones suspected of stealing the curly or KINKY (WOW, there's a racially biased term--kinky seems pejorative) hair products?
