hello.....in which month have u ben in Norway and how long:? I would like to go this summer 3 days to go another 3 days to go back and 10 days in the south and midle Norway
thank you, you have a really nice but also big bike. Great for the normal roads in Norway, but personally I would not feel comfortable to drive a big bike like that offroad.
Hi Rob, really great movie, which makes you want to go to Norway, too. However I already decided to go there this year and booked my ferry starting from Emden some weeks ago. While seeing your video i was often asking myself, where i can find some of the streets you rode. Espacially @14:00-15:30 mins and 5-6 mins... Maybe you can help me out with some tips to find it, so can include in my route planning? Thanks a lot :)
Hi, I’m really sorry, but I don’t have that information. We just left Kristiansand driving up North without any route planned. The good thing is that it is nice everywhere. I would advice you to go to the Mountain area and drive through the national parks, as they are really beautiful. Geiranger, Trollstigen road, Jotunheimen park is where we have been as well. Enjoy your trip and take some proper raingear with you 😀
Hello, great movie and full of inspiration. I am glad to see there's a ferry in Eemshaven as I thought I had to go all the way to Hirtshals to go to Norway. I've got 2 questions (and sorry if I missed the info in the video): How much kilometers you rode and how long was the trip ?
Hi, thanks for watching. I’m sorry to dissapoint you, but the ferry from Norway (from NL) went bankrupt last year…so you still have to go to DK I think. Our trip was almost 2 weeks and we did drive around 1.500 km I think. Not so much as I was still recovering from a broken collar bone 2 months earlier.
that is how it looks on youtube…in fact 50% of this trip was with rain coming down for 24 hours a day and even 4 days on a row…I just did not film during these days, as the only thing you would see is raindrops on the screen.
You should definitely go there if you can, it’s an amazing country. I can’t share our route with you unfortunately…as we had no route planned. We just drove up north from Kristiansand where we left the ferry. However I can advise you to drive to the mountain area around Geiranger and Jothunheimen. And there are many national parks as well and they will give you a fantastic ride through the mountains. You can’t go wrong in Norway really, it is nice everywhere. Thanks for watching.
@@robmotorcycletravels Thank you! I looked through your comments on other threads and saw it was not planned. I'm doing it on a Z1000 so not all the routes will be doable! We're getting the ferry to Oslo and will plan our route from there. Thank you
Hello guys, super trip with special landscapes and memorable views. I noticed that you use Garmin Zumo XT, do you have the maps saved somewhere? I am also planning a trip to Norway and it would help me a lot to inspire.
Sorry, but we did not use a track for this trip as it was all not planned where we would drive to. The west part of Norway with the Fjords and the mountain area is really nice. Thanks for watching.
Zo.
Goed plan, Noorwegen is fantastisch. Dus...neem goede kleding mee. Veel plezier alvast !
It stopped working indeed. Small techical problem, but a lot of hassle to get the bike to the Triumph dealer in Bergen and 2 days delay during the trip. But these were the rainy days 😀
hi, Can you tell how much Euros for evacuator for the motorcycle? And how many km did it take moto? Just to imagine if something goes wrong...to be ready
Hi, it was covered by insurance company, but I thought it was around 400 euro for only bringing the bike to the repair center (which was only 15 km away). They finally could not fix it and we had to bring it to the Triumph dealer in Bergen and that was 600 euro and 4 hours traveling. So, make sure you have a valid and good insurance :)
I love this kind of movies. 👋
Thanks. Me too :)
I don`t :) More map and something else than road😊
The name "road movie" could have ringed a bell...

Very scenic and great video footage. Enjoyed the sound of the engine, but the interspersed techno pop audio not so much.
thank you.
We was there too. WOW mc Lithuania. It was great.
Hey. Where do you mount the gopro on your bike and what camera settings are you using?

The guy on the Honda rig 1:01:58 gets around. That rig or one like it has been in everyone's travel videos from Europe this year!
Well, then he has been busy I guess :) Thanks for watching
been lucky with the weather....

Nice trip! Whats the name of the campsite at 4:30 ?
It is not a campsite, it was behind the garage were we were waiting for the motorcycle to be repaired 😀
Great video! What are the laws for aftermarket exhausts in Norway? Do motorcyclists get pulled over a lot in Norway?
Thanks, I’m not from Norway, so I don’t know. But my exhaust is legal and hardly didn’t see police.
Looks fantastic! We're hopefully going next year. Can you share you route please?

Stunning!! Definitely on the list to visit now!! Just wondering if it cost a lot more to order those amazing weather conditions??!! 🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
glad you liked it. We had more than our fair share of rain, but these days got lost during editing 😀 Thanks for watching.
Nice video, but what happened to your bike since you needed "towing assistance" ?
It was a brand new bike, electronics issue fixed by the Triumph dealer in Bergen. Thanks for watching.
