I was looking for some help with setting up my M-Audio. What I didn’t expect was to find my new favourite TH-cam channel. I’m floored by your humility and warmth in your approach to teaching us. This is a 30 minute video and the time flew by. It’s like having a friend explain it to you. Thanks for your help and kindness.
very detailed review and i love how you demonstrate everything- from installing the software to actually using different instruments and mics! thank u so much for this! very high quality and very informative, it’ll definitely help me out a lot since i just bought the interface and have never used one before!
Yo tengo una Track Duo; y después de haber recorrido muchos videos, este es sin duda el mejor que he visto sobre la M-Audio Track; felicidades por el trabajo, la canción graciosa y excelente.
This man elucidate each things and highlighted what is good and bad honestly great great great salute and hii form indian love you man ❤❤❤❤ as im beginner in this and ive decided to buy this all credit goes to you for this purchase
I bought an M-Audio M-Track Solo after my Rocksmith truetone lead turned out not be recognised by any plugin or draw .I watched this video in the time in-between ordering and receiving ..1 day.. and you inspired me those Beatle style backing vocals ..if I hadn't already purchased it I would now...I cant wait to try it
Thank you very much for this extensive review! I'm a beginner in all these and bought this model instead of an amp to play my brand new guitar! It's just for hobby/have some fun so it will be perfect! And I really loved the song! 😁🎸
M-Track Solo + Klark Teknik CM1 + SM58 Probably the most cost effective set up I've ever had. Also, another thing the M-Track Solo has over the Behringer interface is that the phantom power switch is at the front. :v
Thnx for this awesome informative tutorial video it’s great for someone who knows nothing about this but willing to learn & u’ve definitely made it more liking & fun for me to know more. So, thnkQ again🙋🏻♂️🙏🙌🫡‼️
damn dude, at first i thought, ok lets watch another of those "reviews" out there and see if it gives me sth.... turns out it is the best review out there.. and even more. you created such a good song with this budget interface and kinda show that you dont need the most possibe expensive high end equipment out there to create great music. i love this video, this song and will recommend this video to anyone who wants to know sth about this interface. keep this up i really love your way of "reviewing" 💜
Thanks man, I greatly appreciate the compliment. I hope that whichever interface you end up choosing that it brings you tons of joy in creating some great music!
Hey hi thanks for the very in depth video of this product , i have the um-22 as well and on Chromebook and ipad iOS it just stopped working . Well I just ordered the m-audio from Sweetwater should be here tomorrow plus I got a Lenovo ryzen5 from my son in-law and installed cakewalk/ bandlab to give it a shot again thank you as I’m sure I’m going to use your video as a reference tomorrow setting everything thing up for windows 11 as I watched other videos were people are saying 11 is more audio production more friendly than 10, thumbs up and subbed 😊
Wow, that is a lot of latency. My first guess would be to double-check the ASIO buffer settings and see how low of a setting you can get away with (like 64 or 128 samples).
@@tonmaychakraborty6642 Between the M-Track and the UM2, I'd go with the M-Track. But if you mean the UMC22, then I'd say it's a toss-up. They're pretty similar to each other, and they'd both work great as a first interface.
Great real world review thank you, on the touchy knobs the Ultragain Pro-8 Digital ADA8000 has the same kinda thing going on at the end of the pot. you will find this is the case with cheaper gear, try it on some of your older gear you probably never noticed it, but because the headphone output level was low on that "M-Track Solo" you cranked the input up. Anyway it looked a good bit of gear for the price :)
Great review just one point I have. The fact that behringer uses asio4all maybe considered a good think. Also behringer can always make a driver available if needed. Support by asio4all is probably a lot more dynamic than m-audio ;)
I'm frustrated by the odd quirkiness of the gain on the vocal input. What I'm getting with the mic and computer setup I have is basically no vocal monitoring until I get to that awful finnicky 9-10 zone. Then it wants to clip and distort, and I'm quite irritated by this problem. No clue how to fix the situation. Might be sending it back if I can't figure that out. Great review with practical application examples.
This is the first place I've seen that quirky gain issue explored. I thought it might be either a defective unit in my case, or being a newbie perhaps I was just expecting too much from the device. I see now that it's just awful engineering. Many thanks. I'll be ditching my M-Audio gear in favor of something that has a better design.
Nice job with the track. Very polished. Surprised by the quality of the audio coming out of the M-Track. Sounded decent. Might just be the thing to stick in my backpack when I go out. Having said all that, I've just switched to MacOS and an M1 MacBook Pro after being a Windows user for like forever. First thing I've tried was my trusty Fast Track Pro interface with Reaper, Garage Band and Audacity - no dice with any of them. Interface shows up as a USB audio device but no bueno with any audio software thus far. Kinda bummed by that, which is why I've ended up here hoping that the M-Track might be the solution. At least it looks like it may be supported by macOS Monterey.
Man, I wish I had seen this video before buying the M-Track Solo. That knob thing is a total deal breaker, but those "affiliate link" youtubers made sure to hide it in their reviews. F them.
9 months ago I was going to go with this interface until the minifies 1 realeased and I just knew that was the route to go instead of buying the m audio
Wonderful review. You covered many aspects and options clearly and in depth. Sadly, you did not cover much on line input. I am a member of a small church in northern Ontario, Canada. As our town is quite small and distal from any major urban centres, i rely on Amazon for equipment purchases. We are discovering that, even though we are post Covid, many of our members prefer to attend online via Facebook. Our current method of providing this is with an iPhone that captures the music from two speakers in front of it. I have taken on the task of upgrading. I’ve purchased a pan/tilt camera with video output at 1080P, a new mini gaming quality desktop and the M-Track Duo. I’ve been trying to take audio from our existing soundboard through the duo and into the computer via the usb (which is supposed to be an I/O port) but have not yet succeeded. Manufacturer says it works, but beyond that offer no guidance. Might you have some guidance for me? I’m a retired Canadian Military Veteran and my expertise is as a technician in communications and tactical equipment, so I am not really much of an audiophile.
I'm sorry that it took so long to see this, and I'm sure that you've worked something out by now. But just in case...The left and right outputs of your mixer would feed into inputs 1 and 2 of the M-Track. Make sure both inputs of the M-Track are set to Line level and adjusted to similar gain levels. That should yield the same sound and mix that are coming out of your mixer, and will deliver it to your computer for recording and/or streaming.
Incredible content. I love your videos! I watched some videos and noticed that you have some Beatles and Guns 'n Roses influences. I am right? Thanks you for the amazing content. See ya!
I love how you make a song to demonstrate the various instrument and input functions of the interface instead of just talking about it. Very good.
This has gotta be the best review on audio equipment out there. Thank you for this. You are so underrated! You deserve a million subs!
Man .. I just fell in love how well you just demonstrated tgis product... Almost in every poosible way we could use our audio interface
Thanks. I wrote a song in 1970 and recording it and tossing it onto TH-cam is on my bucket list.

Excellent review and song, as always!
That knob for Input 1 is like the knob of my shower, you are either freezing or boiling alive.
What a great simile. "Like the knob on my shower, either freezing or boiling alive." I'm gonna steal it! 🙂
Good... the best m-audio m-track sólo explain and unboxing!!
Best and Detailed review of this one does not existed until yours man !! You are surely underrated.

Ordered this for my wife. Glad to see it will do the trick Great jam you got there! Thanks for this review
very nice - straightforward and easily understood, with no gimmicks. you've got some great gear there, lucky man! you're a bit of a sleeper genius...
LOVE that song you were playing.
Felt like i watched a movie, love you man
Fantastic tutorial , great job and a cool song. Thank you so much for this video.
now ..this is my kind of hands on review. You walk the walk man...awesome demo..
This is exactly the kind of video I was seeking! Every body just goes on talking features but no one does this lol
Your song has almost studio quality and I mean the interface even gives the whole thing a vintage touch :) Sounds really convincing!

I like your review techniques.
That was one sure test . Exactly answered all my questions. Did not know you could input signals without an amp. Have always used an amp in the past.
Only video I've found in the last 2 hours which takes me from having a guitar and DAW to playing on it. No one online has a tutorial like this
You did not waste 30 minutes of my life 😅 Thank you for this video. Love from 🇵🇭 🎸

love this review! Just a quick real world application.
