Vince is the entire package -- great singer, great songwriter, talented multi-instrumentalist. Probably because of all the bands he worked with on his way up, ranging from bluegrass to pop, and because of all of the extensive session work he did before, during, and after his fame, he could play and sing just about anything. There is a reason his is the king of the country Grammy’s. I struggle to think of anyone who compares to him. He did virtually unnoticed session guitar work on relatively obscure records when he was still big and had no need to do such a thing. As much as you can tell about any celebrity, I think he is about as humble about his talents and grateful for his success as anyone of his stature I’ve seen.
I totally agree with you. He earned well deserved the Irving Waugh Award of Excellence at 48th annual CMA award show this year. A Rolling Stone article said "He is the Best living legend and Bemoan the preponderance of pop in country music all you like, but cherish the fact that a true legend - and gentleman - is still working today." I enjoyed his performance with Sting in 2011 in NY. With a rocker on the same stage he still shone with his versatile talent. Yes, he can do just about anything.
What really blows my mind is the fact that Vince is also a scratch golfer. I heard him say once that he would come home from school every evening and hit balls in the back yard until dark, hoping to be on the tour someday. No wonder most of us are so talent less. Vince got it all!

Lyrics:
We've been up
All night long
Trying to solve a problem
Hell it's almost dawn
Ain't no time for sleepin'
If our love is wearin' thin
'Cause I ain't givin' up
And you ain't givin' in
Don't let our love start slippin'
Love start slippin' away
'Cause the life we've been livin'
Gets harder everyday
Don't let our love start slippin'
Love start slippin' away
A wounded love
Walks a real thin line
And no communication
Will kill it every time
So open up your heart
Baby we can work it out
'Cause we've got the kind of love
People dream about
Don't let our love start slippin'
Love start slippin' away
'Cause the life we've been livin'
Gets harder everyday
Don't let our love start slippin'
Love start slippin' away

Hello there Eleanor nice meeting you here
Hello Eleanor,how are you doing?🌹🌹
❤❤❤ good song
Remember when CMT played this all the time?
This is one of the best songs in music history
I like country music in the 90’s
Just saw him last night at American Music Theater in Lancaster County, PA. The man is an incredible talent. Played for just about 3 hours none stop. His daughter was on stage with him also. Great talent in her own right. The man can just flat out sing and play the guitar. If you ever get the chance to see his show. Don't even think about it. Just go! Thank you Vince for a great evening!
Joe took me to a Vince gill concert for my birthday. Great singer& showman. ❤❤❤❤
He sings like a angel, pure talent
I remember watching this video when I was 8 years old and falling in love with Vince Gill, i'm 27 years old now and still adore him!!
Thanks for support and love, I feel blessed having you around. Hugs
Groove - it's what makes a song 'happen' - this song has an smooth groove that is way easy it let go and get with - one of my all time Vince favorites.
Thanks for your sincere compliment and love, I’m not complete without you as my Fan 🌹 I have you to be most thankful for 🌹🌹🙏📺💞💯
Still love listening to this amazing singer today as I did in the 90s as a kid. I still remember singing along to this song and One More Last Chance in the car with my dad
I feel like Vince Gill could Jam with anyone. He surrounds himself with such diversity and talent. At the end of the day, it's about the music. He's a true artist.
I miss the happy times of the 80’s and the 90’s
i must admit that I'm in love with Vince gill

Hello ~ Mother Father God our creators are here in person playing this song please phone home SOS!!
You know I never noticed he had Little Jimmy Dickens in his video and the boys from the Kentucky Headhunters playing with him in this video before. Vince is such a musician! So cool!
Shay-Anne, no disrespect to the rest of the amazing folks in this, but I've always thought Little Jimmy made this video!
Helluva Song.
