I feel for Chris I know the feeling of being a little intimidated by someone and then your words come out like that it happens to me a lot I think it's a lack of self-esteem even though you're gifted at some things. There are a lot of times when I write what my feelings are and I go back and reread it and if I didn't recognize my handwriting I would be impressed by the author! And that gives me a wonderful feeling! It looked like he was speaking his feelings without experiencing them first

This does make you realize how incredible Vince Gill is as a singer though. At first i was like he can’t cover this. It doesn’t sound right/good but i’ve been wrong many times. It’s not Vince Gill but Chris Stapleton made it his own version.

sometimes when Chris sings, i have to turn it off because my emotions overwhelm me. this was simply beautiful. Vince is one of the most talented song writers, and his gentle yet powerful voice is hard to standup against. Chris Stapleton really honored him with this performance. I cried my way through this, and have several times.

We went to Memphis Tennessee and saw him in concert took my granddaughter and her boyfriend with us we had a great time

I saw him at the tabernacle in Atlanta ab 5 years ago, and it was not a “concert”by any means. It was an absolute vocal masterpiece inside an old building that rang the notes coming out of his mouth through your soul. All you could do was watch in sheer amazement. He’s a generational talent

I couldn't love this more! The look on both Vince and Chris' faces is absolutely priceless. Genuine love and respect there, plus Chris does the song justice in his own way.
