    Thanks for uploading this video . It was nice to see Michael at this period of time and was a great interview . He didn't know it then but he was already showing signs of Parkinson's . During the Back to the future II filming he had to recreate the "Johnny B. Good" number from the first film and he later wrote in his memoir it was much harder physically and he was achy for weeks afterward . He just put it down to ageing then but now realizes that normal ageing in just 4 years from the first film didn't account for how difficult it was or the toll it took .

      and he Is now! he has same character and personality. the disease doesnt identify him or anybody. he is the same humble, kind and caring soul. with the disease he became more strong, more inspirational to others. Miss seeing him and his lovely jokes and smile, which brings smile to me.

      Still is. Parkinson's effect your facial expressions so the camera will sometimes struggle to catch, but in videos and some very recent photos he's just as beautiful and charming and young as he was all these years ago. Magic never ages. No matter the circumstances.

    It doesn't matter how short or tall he is Michael just has "it". I'm 5"9 and I think if I met a guy like him I would have given him a chance. I understand It's all in the way you carry yourself and accept who you are.
    I'm happy for his success, his loving marriage etc.

      I doubt you would have if he wasn't this rich and famous. If he was just some guy working in an office you'd have kept thinking damn 5'4 and I am 5'9 I don't think I want someone shorter than me. So yeah maybe a fling but doubt it'd turn to anything serious. How could you do this to your kids who'll prolly end up being shorter than you. 🤣😂🤣😂

    Great actor my kids love to watch him still! Have noticed when he was younger here he was figgity and has a nervousness my mother also had that when she was younger and worried alot. Just wondering if that could be symptom or cause of Parkinson's later. Cause i myself am nervous and high strung.

      Audie Murphy was about an inch taller than you. But he intimidated guys who were over 6’feet and out weighed him by fifty pounds. Had the hands of a girl but had lightning reflexes. That was how he stayed alive.

      That's how all the Soviet films were made, actually - mostly for technical reasons. They also used to change actors, and, so, for example, in an adventure musical one actor would be on screen, another one (sometimes a really well-known one with a very distinct voice, which made things super weird) would speak, another one would sing and plus a stunt double. Four people to portray one character!

    It’s sad when actors start playing stupid roles that sabotage their careers.

      Give me an example

    • @gutenbird
      @gutenbird 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jenpeterson3712 I’m for actors having some range but an actor also has to protect their likability if they are gonna continue to get people to see their movies. What was the one where Arnold was pregnant? Seriously. An action guy having a baby and it wasn’t even particularly funny. Robin Williams playing a serial killer. Whenever you have a likable actor play an unlikable role, not one of redemption but one where they are just creepy or a jerk, it’s difficult to come back suddenly and be likable again. There are some actors who can be a jerk and pull it off but those guys have something else going for them. Will Smith has been pretty smart with his career but some guys get on top and the get tired of being liked don’t want to be typecast. It’s actually more difficult to be likable than it is to be the bad guy. In fact almost any actor can play the creep. A much smaller percentage can be loved.

    • @jenpeterson3712
      @jenpeterson3712 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gutenbirdactors get typecast. Michael was great in Spin City. He was great in The American President. Michael tried serious roles, which I liked, but preferred doing comedy, which was better. Yes, Arnie with that particular role was silly. I love Arnie. Kindergarten Cop was one of his best.

    • @gutenbird

      @@jenpeterson3712 MJF was a pretty decent actor with a great flair for light comedy who played clean cut. Once he started getting less clean cut, he lost a lot of his audience. An actor usually has to play to his strengths especially if you are playing the GOOD GUY.
