Thank you! I understand your point👍 However some people insisted on GMT bezel for their mod, like this one. For most of them, it's just a matter of the look/style. Not much for the functionality
I really needed that. Ordered a 42mm 24 hrs bezel watch case (black and orange) and a NH34, also a set of Rolex Mercedes white hands with orange GMT hand... but I had hard time deciding for a dial. Now I know: it will be a reiteration of this build, except for red color that it will be orange in my build. Thanks again! KUTGW!
Hi Sir Lovely mod! a qustion, ho to know what size to order on the new dial? i understand that i can open the watch and measure the old dial, but if you don't want to open it before changing dials?
You can just measure by putting a ruler on the glass. It's still easy to see the size. Usually, it's 28.5 or 29mm. But if you have a watch originally with 28.5mm dial, even 29mm will fit it as well (in my experience)
thanks for the question Aspen, i was also thinking of this same thing.. @@ShortBetterso i was thinking of getting 29mm dial, but wasnt sure if the case would take it, is there more room than 29mm, or will it take only exactly up to 29mm? thanks for this video buddy, lovely stuff
@shannonsonny5776 Most of the watches I modified come with a 28.5mm dial, and I had no problems replacing it to 29mm. I doubt that more than 29mm will fit in such case as in the video
@@ShortBetterawesome buddy, feel more confident now, lets order some dials!!! haha.. problem is getting some nice vintage R dials which wont align with the NH35 date window, need to use Date Wheel Overlays! :) Cheers from Malaysia
Sadly, I find myself only liking watches that are very expensive. But I don't care about the name, so my question is : Is it possible to have someone (not me!) make a watch from scratch by buying the parts to make my dream watch? Is this possible?
Do you still make this and can it be finished with a rubber strap? Maybe black with red stripping or red with black stripping like your other rubber straps?
I got a Invicta coke bezel with a black dial, and I think this mod will fit great, but I don't want the Seiko brand logo on it. Where did you purchase the dial? Is there a no logo option? Any link? Thanks in advance.
I am very confused. Why are people like yourself using a GMT bezel insert on a non-GMT watch? Otherwise the watch looks great. Swap out the NH-35 for a NH-34 if the case can handle it.
Because it makes the watch actually functional. That bezel can show you. Second time zone. The dive bezel gives you a counter that no uses to actually count time
It looks good & u are awesome. 1 thing I don't like though on these GMT homages I see everywhere is lack of a GMT hand.

Happy to help! Thanks for watching :)
Yet another beautifully done piece 💗
Thank you! :)
Great tutorial, which kind of "remover" is that liquid 9:38?
@@Vanoroc Thanks! It's a nail polish remover
Beautiful mod.
@@zapaxata3074 thank you😉
Fantastic. Great video and beautiful watch. Curious what chemical you used to remove the bezel insert.

Yes, already replied earlier :)
What is the measurement of the bezel insert sir?
31.5x38mm I think
Standard sub bezel
@@ShortBetter highly appreciated sir, I like your concept.. I might try to mod my pd into this dracula mod
@@arlonahiron7285 Good luck with your mod! :)
Did you changed the screw down crown?
Nope, I used the original PD crown for this mod
That looks fucking awesome.
Thanks! I like it a lot too!

Yes, I can make another one. Please contact me on Instagram: mod4thai

I didn't order it here, but recently found it accidentally. You're lucky😅😅

For me it's not a big deal to use GMT bezel insert on NH35. I'm a simple man, if it looks great - I do it haha
2nd time zone bezel without GMT hand ? Please explain.
@@Emmepi37 it’s pretty self explanatory, wherever the hour hand is pointing at divide by 2 and you’ll have the second time
Quelle horreur ......
Thanks for supporting my channel haha
LOL.
What is the idea of this mod?
You have GMT besel, but you have no GMT hand.
Yeah, I just liked the color of the insert with the dial :)
informative video, but your choice is hideous
Thanks for supporting my channel ☺ Yeah, I can't please everyone and that's ok
