Well done my friend!! I've done this a few times replacing cheap aluminum bezels with more colorful ceramic inserts. If you leave the bezel submerged a little longer the old adhesive will come out easier. The 3M adhesive can be tricky. Sometimes the adhesive is not the correct size. In that case you need to cut it into three or four sections and place it on the bezel first, just as you did.

@@leovalverde1508 Thanks for the advice. Yes should have left it longer. Thanks for watching

Very nice. On the jubilee bracelet it's the "batgirl"

@@Mate2Frio Thanks I didn't know that. I found a ytube video that has both the batman and batgirl side by side they explained batgirl it's almost the same but has slimmer lugs.. and judging by the comments on his video most seem to prefer the jubilee bracelet version. I love it now better than when it had the Pepsi insert. Look super classy.

I use 90% isopropyl alcohol instead of acetone, works a little bit slower but it’s not as harsh as acetone

Do you think if i changed the insert on the 2 tone model the fake gold would also come off of the actual bezel?

@@tortillajackson6007 Couldn't say for sure but my one didn't loose any paint from the alloy bezel. So I think it would be ok.

Very helpful, but you can cut this video down to ten minutes or less. Just show the preliminary matching of the bezel insert, the dipping in acetone, the removal of the old insert and cleaning of the bezel, the fitting of the new insert, and voila, Bob’s your uncle, as you Brits like to say. Leave out the OCD stuff.

I wanted to let you know that I modded a Pagani Design PD 1758 GMT, with a blue map dial and a bezel insert that had cities and tiny illegible numbers too small for these senior eyes. I tried nontoxic golf grip solvent a la Marc, didn’t work, then non-acetone nail polish remover, ditto. Finally, I let it sit overnight in 91% isopropyl alcohol. I was able to move it a bit, then donned nitrile gloves which were grippy and it rotated off. The only wrinkle was that I installed the adhesive ring in the bezel channel rather than onto the insert. I sent you an email of the finished mod, hope you get it.
