I recommend the NASB1995 The New Inductive Study Bible. Blue HardCover. This is my go to Bible. I dont only use it for studying but reading as well. I know the ESV Translation is known for its small font. I have never seen a Giant print in One. 1 reason i don't use ESV. But yes people go with the NASB 1995 Print one.

I use the NIV. I like it because it's much easier for me to understand, and it reflects how English is spoken today when it says they or brothers and sisters when both genders are meant. Also I'm in the UK, and it has a British English version on my Bible app, and an audio version of it too which is important because I'm blind.

Very good advice. Esv can be used later. NLT wonderful for beginners.

Church attendance is a result of faith, plain and simple. Checking boxes on a task list does not make salvation. Than again, if you believe you are saved but you aren't going to church, what is keeping you from worshipping the God you claim has saved you?

I am still struggling with pens in my bible. I like very fine points so that I can write very small. I find that the thin bible pages are easily indented through several thicknesses when I use ball point pens. I like felt tips, but I hate needle points and so far the smallest bullet point felt tip I can find is 7 mm which is far too thick. My current go-to felt tip is a 02 sakura pigma micron or a 01 nanoliner from Royal Langnickel. Oddly, the 01 nanoliner has a thicker line than the 02 micron. I have some 003 LePens but they dry out so quickly I can barely get a sentence written before I need to cap it again and let the tip resaturate. I get my felt tips from various craft stores - Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and even Meijer. My daily writer is a uni jetstream 0.38 mm multipen that I special order from a Japanese stationary store. I got my Holman Dictionary at Hobby Lobby for $11 on clearance.

That bag may not look like a necessity, but I’ve been using a large Neverfull with an organizer for a few years to go to church or Bible study. It has all of my Bible stuff PLUS a coffee and a small lap blanket. Sunday morning I’m there for at least 2.5 hours!

My mother was never an animal person so we were not raised with any animals. But when I became a grandmother we decided to get the kids a dog. He passed on 16yrs later and we were so devastated that we got three more 🤷🏻‍♀️I absolutely love my puppies ❤

If you don’t understand the Old Testament how can you understand the new testament when Jesus teach from the old the new is just a fulfillment of the old.

Hello Lovely video! Which highlighters do you recommend for this Bible that don’t bleed through the pages? I have this Bible in the pages are really thin. I feel like if a highlighter works in this Bible it will likely work in all Bibles.😊

The Hebrew you see is the original names of the books and characters. The english is the transliterated names we are used to. In the Tanakh (Original Testament) the names of the book were either the first word or sentence of the book or the name of the character. For example B'reshit means "In the beginning" or "beginning" which is the first sentence of Genesis. Yehoshua is the original name for Joshua (Hebrew does not have the letter J, so typically wherever you would see a "J" it was originally a Y or an I (Iyyov instead of Job, Yeshua instead of Jesus). The Tanakh was written by Hebrews so understanding the hebraic perspective will allow you to understand the bible even deeper. As it is filled with many jewish idioms cultural references. Afterall it was written by Jews. God Bless 🥰🙏
