My favourite video of yours by far! Sometimes you just want to watch a fellow mama struggling to look at plants with a toddler in tow! Lovely and relaxing. Who needs outro's anyway.
This was so much fun! I always inspect all the plants in such stores for the pests. I'm not an agleonema person but that one looked really cool. All the boys were so sweet, it's nice that they went with you and Ryan even helped filming. I hope you will do this sometime again 😊 Love you Harli, can't wait for the next video! 💕
I love to see all of u laughing...even the baby...all look so happy and that is rare nowadays...usually parents are all stress out and mean with the kids that is very sad to watch that type of interaction...but you guys are fun!!
Harli, you’re so beautiful and such a good mom! 💕 Thank you for bringing this type of video back. These are the videos I binged when I first found your channel. 💚
Thanks for this video. You all made my day. Been kind of discouraged lately and seeing your beautiful family cheered me up. Those mealy bugs were so creepy!
I'm 63 and have NEVER had bugs on my plants until this year. My very first hoya!!!! Mealy Bugs are now the bane of my existence!! bahahahaha Great video!!!
i just moved to alabama from california and the plant options here are amazing!! dropped by lowes this weekend and got a baltic blue with a nice ceramic pot and a snake plant that’s nearly as tall as me for 27 bucks in total.
The boys are adorable your family is so nice looking. I think those stupid flowers are the worst at least the googly eyes cracked me up but there are people out there that would think those flowers are real. Cute video minus the bugs thank you
This was fun. The babies are getting big! I have 4 boys, they are so fun! Big bummer about all the bugs 🥴🤢 the glued on flowers are so ridiculous, but so are the grafted ones IMO. Also, the googly eyes are ridiculous but hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
You have such a gorgeous family! How sad to see all the infestations at the box stores, very disappointing. The plastic flowers on the cacti are to make them easier to handle. Something to hold onto when you repot it.
"So it's bound to be awkward!" 🤣 I am watching at work and I almost LOL-ed!! You're so relateable. Honestly, I'm awkward too so seeing you own it is the best. And Hilarious!
I feel your pain when I found a Snowcap Hoya at L****. Two days later, discovered it was crawling with hundreds of tiny black aphids. The big box stores overwater most of their plants. Net pots are yet another annoying issue. 😢
Yes! Check your plants like a madman! Bought a china doll from a nursery without checking and 2 days later I found white webs at the base. Saving grace was that I have not place it next to my plants.
Oh my gosh you can go through all those plants really fast and still find pests in them .. That's amazing how you can spot them.. And now I've got the skin-crawlies.. Yikes!!!! 🙈😅
Thks to ur videos, i now kno to check all my plants before getting. So sad bout the mealy bugs. U was so excited bout all those plants. 😪 Love how excited u get. Im the same way!
I have a Calathea musaica. I bought it last year and this year it actually bloomed some little white flowers. It's a fairly easy plant, but sometimes it gives off a musk smell. Not sure why or if it is a common thing with this plant. I have a small jungle in my house too.
OK this is one of my favorite videos 🥺 I love how funny Ryan is when he's naming plants 🪴 reminds me of my husband. But I also love watching you as a family. I'm currently expecting, 18 weeks and I can't wait till this is my day to day at the hardware stores. 💕
Glued on flowers for sure are worse I'm so glad you showed the pests. I've had plants for 2 years and have my first pests ever, thrips :( they aren't from a new plant but this is so good to show its important to inspect well! My lowes upped their game. They had several awesome new plants, but I'm not buying anything until thrips are eradicated.
I love your funny vibes with the rest of the family, defo do more vids with them plssssss xx oh and I bought that long Aglaonema recently its called the Cutlass! Sounds badass
I much prefer the eyes than the glued on flower. The flower is like insulting the plant in my opinion, but the eyes are just for fun lol also if I were you I would probably just buy all the plants and try to rehab them because I always done that hehe but since you got hundreds of plants in your house they're definitely risky! Hope you can find some good ones in other stores!
Harli G! I always LOVE your videos! Thank you for sharing!!! I’ve watched your propagation videos so many times and they have helped me so much! Thank you!! Please make more videos on “Propagation Updates!” “Grow Tent Growths!” “Fastest/Easiest Propagations!” “Philodendron/Hoya/Wet Stick Propagations!”
Funny, I just bought this plant the other day at my local grocery store. 7:46 Tag says Chinese Evergreen - Aglaonema. I also liked it because it had long skinny leaves. I hope you can find another one that isn't in a bug-infested store. My son gave me a cactus years ago with glued on flowers (on top), silly, as it has grown, the 2 pink flowers are now on either side about half way up. They look ridiculous. Love your channel!
I totally feel you about the bugs. A Home Depot near me has a terrible thrip infestation on the selloums so I didn’t buy anything from there even though I wanted the huge squamiferum that was on the complete opposite side of the room. Just didn’t want to risk it.
Hi Harli, wow on the plants at Lowe's, and I am crazy about plant shopping, also loved the plants at Home Depot, if I really like a plant and it doesn't have bugs I will get it, so sad that both places had bugs, I really hate mealy bugs, and spider mites are awful as well. I really liked that Aglaonema with it's long leaves and the look of the leaves, I also really liked that crocodile fern, I found a Ficus Audrey at Walmart and grabbed it because the price in an 8 inch pot was only 12.98. Always so good to see you and your oldest son is so adorable, and your newest younger son is just so cute too. I have wanted to have a meet and greet with your mom and you again when I get a chance to visit Utah, but that hasn't happened in a while and I hope that it will soon. Have a wonderful rest of your week and thanks so much for a wonderful video, sending much love and many hugs, bye for now. 🤣🥰🤗💜
I think the googly eyes are intentionally ridiculous, and the flowers are more deceitfully ridiculous. Therefore, the googly eyes are actually pretty cute
I guess every pro has its cons. My local Lowes had a very low houseplant selection but no pests. your local Lowes had pests and a larger houseplant selection. The same with Home Depot. I've actually been very lucky to not haverpests on my Big box store plants. The only pest I've actually dealt with are fungus gnats
I laughed out loud at those googly eyes! Did you by chance mention the bug problem at the two stores? Good decision to not buy that day. Your boys are darling, thanks for fun video!
Kai with the „nein“ Shirt 😂 (im from germany) I really enjoy this kind of content. Hope to see more of it! Im generally interested in you „outside plant life“ like you called it in a previous video 🙃
Oh my gosh the babies are so cute!!! But yikes on the bugs at every store. Sorry you couldn’t find anything good, but exciting to future planty shopping videos. These are definitely my favorite
I would douse all four of us with their outside watering hose before we even got in the car, probably alcohol wipes too. Then repeat once home (if you have a fence that there are areas of the yard where the neighbors can’t see you, we’d be talking our second shower out there). And clothes straight into the wash! Well, not really, at least to that extent. I’m assuming that unless you held your arm (or sleeve - I wonder which they would find more attracting) in there for a good while and really rubbed it around that you would probably not bring any pests home with you: but I get so paranoid at every little mark on a leaf. And the first plant that you found with a problem (thrips). I have that same beauty, which we raised up from a single gorgeous leaf (with a bit of node of course). It survived both water rooting and the transplant to a pot/potting mix. Then after it started to fill out, leaves unfurling, aerial roots growing (our first plant that grew them)… I still don’t know how, it got thrips. No other plant, just him. And we spent over a year eradicating them, and it’s been months since and he finally has over a half dozen leaves and is ready for an “up-potting”. Maybe he’ll give us some more aerial roots as he grows into his new “room”. Sorry so long; but once you showed that plant, and then showed the thrip marks, the story became inevitable. And I concur, you’re very smart to forgo any other plant you see critters on just one plant. Thanks for the video
I have no idea if this is a coincident or not but I had seen someone recommend this on one of your videos - love that you’re taking in that feedback it’s awesome to see Love your content & loved this video 💕
What a nightmare. Pests totally killed my love of plants. I'm afraid to introduce anything new and I'm constantly watching my existing plants for bugs--which sometimes appear OUT OF THIN AIR. 😞
My eight year old son just had a birthday got some money and bought his first house plant lol loved it named it fread frank and George because it has baby's
Agree with you about glued on flowers and googly eyes, drives me insane! Not sure if it’s the same in the US but in the UK around Christmas time you can find Christmas themed cactus, glued on reindeer antlers and Santa hats. Makes zero sense to me 🤦♀️

Those containers are so incredibly pretty!! Love all the colours 😍😍
You should do a video of quarantining and treating plants you get from the big box store!
Glued on flowers- terrible
Googly eyes- incredible 😂
Agreed!
I would totally take home a googly eyes cactus. I'm a part of the problem 😭
Same 😂 especially if they were out around Halloween. A plant can naturally have flowers, but can never naturally have googly eyes! I give it a pass
Seriously! The flower ones no way, but the Googly eyes 😂
😂💀
Covered in spider mites, then covered in mealy bugs. Woah! Thank you for showing us exactly what to look for!!!!! Wow!
Omg your oldest son is sooo precious with his little voice 🥺 he literally repeats everything! “Holly cow” you have a beautiful family Harli!!!
My favourite video of yours by far! Sometimes you just want to watch a fellow mama struggling to look at plants with a toddler in tow! Lovely and relaxing. Who needs outro's anyway.

Harli, you’re so beautiful and such a good mom! 💕 Thank you for bringing this type of video back. These are the videos I binged when I first found your channel. 💚
I know the googly eyes are ridiculous but I kinda like how derpy they make the cactuses look :)
Been watching your videos for a few years now and this is my favorite video for many reasons!! Your babies are perfect
The bugs had me itching....lol. glad to see you back out. The kids are adorable 😍

I never check my plants for bugs but I’m going to start now after seeing this video.
I got super exited when I saw you post a plant shopping video …yay!!! , your babies are super adorable !! Fun video !!
The boys are adorable your family is so nice looking. I think those stupid flowers are the worst at least the googly eyes cracked me up but there are people out there that would think those flowers are real. Cute video minus the bugs thank you
Yikes! The spider mites gave me big time heebee jeebies… how does one spell that?😅 your boys are so cute, best commentator ever!
The glued on flowers are for repotting the plant. So you can pick them up
Oh my word - that makes so much sense! 😵💫🤦♀️
Omg okay that’s actually smart then 😱
OMG I had an awesome time watching your video. Love your family, super fun. Warmth, gratitude & blessings! 💜🌹🙋♀️
I feel so bad for anyone that brings those plants home with the mealys 😩
You have such a gorgeous family! How sad to see all the infestations at the box stores, very disappointing. The plastic flowers on the cacti are to make them easier to handle. Something to hold onto when you repot it.
Groooosss. That spider mites shot made my head itch and my skin crawl and I could feel my breakfast coming up. 😩
Ooooh now I have to make a trip this weekend and go see some planties! Love seeing your whole family in this video🤩
I hope one day to go plant shopping with my babies 💚
Loved this family video!! BEAUTIFUL children!!! :-)
The only infections I’ve found on TN box store plants is root rot from overwatering 🙄🙄 I was shocked at how many bug infections those plants had!!!
"So it's bound to be awkward!" 🤣 I am watching at work and I almost LOL-ed!! You're so relateable. Honestly, I'm awkward too so seeing you own it is the best. And Hilarious!
Omg the googlie eyes 😂😂
I feel your pain when I found a Snowcap Hoya at L****. Two days later, discovered it was crawling with hundreds of tiny black aphids.
The big box stores overwater most of their plants. Net pots are yet another annoying issue. 😢
The glued on flowers are for repotting without getting poked. But the googly eyes are new..
Yes! Check your plants like a madman! Bought a china doll from a nursery without checking and 2 days later I found white webs at the base. Saving grace was that I have not place it next to my plants.

Good to see you doing some throwback content! I used to love your thrift hauls, maybe some of that again?!
OK this is one of my favorite videos 🥺 I love how funny Ryan is when he's naming plants 🪴 reminds me of my husband. But I also love watching you as a family. I'm currently expecting, 18 weeks and I can't wait till this is my day to day at the hardware stores. 💕
Glued on flowers for sure are worse
I'm so glad you showed the pests. I've had plants for 2 years and have my first pests ever, thrips :( they aren't from a new plant but this is so good to show its important to inspect well!
My lowes upped their game. They had several awesome new plants, but I'm not buying anything until thrips are eradicated.
Glued on flowers for sure 🙌🏼 at least the googly eyes makes you giggle
Omg I’ve missed these!
Whoa, thanks ... I will now start wearing my glasses when plant shopping!
I love your funny vibes with the rest of the family, defo do more vids with them plssssss xx oh and I bought that long Aglaonema recently its called the Cutlass! Sounds badass
Okay! I will. Ohhh CONGEATS on the new planty!
Top form hali. I love these natural videos the most.
EEEEEEEK! That was scary!!! Thanks for sharing. I am always inspecting the plants as well.
I love his little Nein shirt 🥰

the glue on eyes is new! haha so funny!
Love the fit! It looks great on you. Also, you have a beautiful family.
"See, that's what I said!" -Ryan like 4 times 😂
You 2 laughing at the googly eyes was everything lol
I’m in love with the googly eyes.

Kai is getting so big! And so handsome !
Do you ever tell the store about the bugs?
ok but the eyes on the squiggly cactus are rly funny :D
Love seeing the babies. They are so cute 😍 sad about all the pests 😔 love your videos!!
I went on a weekend road trip to Alberta to go box store shopping.
Saskatchewan never has live plants in stores, or plants at all.
Glued on flowers are worse, the googly eyes are fun 😁
I laughed out loud at those googly eyes! Did you by chance mention the bug problem at the two stores? Good decision to not buy that day. Your boys are darling, thanks for fun video!
Same. Lol. I love the googly eyes 😄
Kai with the „nein“ Shirt 😂 (im from germany)

Byeeee!!! Cute family👨👩👦👦❤🌱🤗❤
The googly eyes are kinga cute 😂😂
Yay I love big box hauls!!
Thanks for close ups of the pests! I don’t really know what to look out for!
“yep! it’s a triangle ❤️” 😭 pls ur mom and son relationship is so cute
He’s my bestie ♥️
I've seen those caladiums at Walmart recently. Maybe try there!
Oh my gosh the babies are so cute!!!

You have a beautiful family 🥰
nooo I kind of love the googly eye ones 🤣
Yep, you have to inspect the plants in the big box stores because they will kill the plants sometimes or rather neglect them to death.
The googly eye cacti work so much more then fake flowers or spray paint that should become the norm.
I just bought a half off (pest free) Aglaonema at Lowe's. Yay🌿
Hey, Harli. The Aloe is from Altman Plants, I'm sure. They are a plant seller out of California and they have a website.
Loved the google eye cacti tho. Haha
They make me laugh but I still just don’t get it 😂
@@HarliG I think it’s def better than the stupid straw flowers glued on! Haha
You brightened my day
Hey, the googley eyes made you laugh though.... nothing better than a good laugh 😉😄
Girl, that haircut is so pretty on you
I have no idea if this is a coincident or not but I had seen someone recommend this on one of your videos - love that you’re taking in that feedback it’s awesome to see
Love your content & loved this video 💕
I love the googly eyes its so funny! i think the flower is worse, at least you know right away the eyes arent real!
What a nightmare. Pests totally killed my love of plants. I'm afraid to introduce anything new and I'm constantly watching my existing plants for bugs--which sometimes appear OUT OF THIN AIR. 😞
Not the googly eyes 👀 😂 -Lumii Collection
Loved this video! 🥰
My eight year old son just had a birthday got some money and bought his first house plant lol loved it named it fread frank and George because it has baby's
Now I wanna go check all my plants 🪴
I liked the googly eyes 🤣
Your babies are the bloody cutest! 💙💙
Also, I cannot believe how badly those plants were infested! 😱☠️

I've never seen the Christmas ones here in the US in my area anyway... They're all ridiculous
Ok, I’m totally putting googly eyes 👀 on my 🌵
where did you get the yellow and blue small pots from,by the llama? The're super cute!!!
Wow we never have bugs up where I am - that’s sucks so bad! I’ve never seen an infestation like that!
