I think one of my favorite fun facts about Kristoff's ballad was that his voice actor put in his ALL into the performance, thinking it'd be something super dramatic and such, only to see they had turned it into a funny, 80/90's music video referencing sequence. He still liked it though, haha. OH! If I could recommend a movie, I think you should either try Vivo or The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole. Vivo was literally released a few days ago and has a BOPPING soundtrack as an animated musical. The second film was released 2010 but it's still really good and has great action scenes.

This movie teaches how things are never what they seem. How it's easy to blame people but sometimes you need to dig deeper and look pass your prejudices. And how bad it is to keep secrets from your family. How ironic Elsa froze and she says the cold does bother her. I like Anna because she never gives up on family and does next right thing even if she doesn't know what the results will be. I really enjoyed this movie⛄

Ok this is a loooong post, but it's about all the spirits of this movie. In Scandinavian folklore, a Nøkk is a dangerous shapeshifting water-spirit known to lure travelers to the waterside while disguised as a mighty horse (similar to the Kelpie of Celtic folklore), a handsome man (oftentimes playing a violin), or a beautiful woman, only to drag them into the depths and drown them. this is hinted at through the Nokk's attacking of Elsa when it first comes across her. The "hot boi" also known as Bruni is a Fire salamander ( I'd go into detail but so many lore and stories talk about them) The rock giants, we're losly based off the smaller rock trolls (Kristopher's family) And they attacked Anna because it was their job to protect the forest. But when they saw them lift the fog they began to understand what Elsa was. ( so they quickly calmed down) And gale, the wind spirit. Not a whole lot to say about this one. From a gentle breeze to the whirling tornado in the movie, a wind spirit is kinda like a toddler? The best comparison I can come up with to describe the "overwhelming curiosity" they have.

Okay so this might be an unpopular opinion but…I think both Frozen films are equally great movies. Neither one is better than the other. Neither one is worse than the other. They’re both equal in quality. And WAIT FOR IT…they are just as good as Tangled 🏃🏾♂️💨
If memory serves me right, I'm pretty sure every fun fact Olaf gave was true. All except for water holding memory. That part was either put in for the sake of the story, or came from the real life, and highly faulty, experiment to see if water can hold memory/have some level of emotion.
The giants are based on real Scandinavian mythology trolls, they walk at night and sleep in the day because in the original versions giants turn to stone in sunlight. There's also myths about smaller kind of trolls stealing children and replacing them with their own... kind of raises questions about Kristoff's adoption don't you think?

Here's my Frozen 3 pitch: Anna and Kristoff are finally getting married, and so is Honeymaren, to someone else in the tribe. They decide to have the weddings together as a means of uniting the two cultures together, but it's as the wedding prep is going on that Elsa realizes she's in love with Honeymaren, and Ryder is in love with Kristoff. They both decide they have nothing to lose, and decide they need to tell them how they feel. Put whatever adventure you want here. Time comes, and they chicken out, but only because they decides to first out themselves, as a means of testing the waters to see how they'd be accepted. It goes dead quiet, and everyone's staring at them, and they both run off, thinking they just ruined everything for everyone. “They were good parents” They locked their daughter in their room for 13 years, saying that her ice powers are pure evil and if she won’t control it, she’ll basically turn into a monster. And they lied to their other daughter about her sister, not allowing them to interact at all. Still think they’re good parents?
Where in both movies did they say Elsa's powers are evil and that she'll never control it? They tried to help her however they could, but they fundamentally misunderstood Grand Pabbie's warning and were totally out of their depth anyway. I don't know what I'd do if my kid ends up with magical powers. I wouldn't isolate my kids, sure, but I don't know how I could help my kid learn to control their powers. It would overwhelm me too and I guess they did what they could. They clearly cared for their daughters but they were just people. Flawed, like everyone else.
Future movie to watch that came out this month is Vivo, brilliant movie, it touched my heart like Coco and Soul did, if you enjoyed those movies then Vivo is a must watch
Olaf does have a special series of his own where he just recaps the events of other Disney movies from his...unique perspective. It's hilarious. I'd also recommend watching the shorts that happen between the 1st and 2nd film for a bit more added context. The movie to song ratio of this is nothing compared to the animated movie Strange Magic(Lucas Films), which all songs are covers of actual songs(I will argue there's a couple covers that are better than the OG). But back to the point, Strange Magic can hardly go like...5 minutes most of the time without a song. It's pretty crazy, and can prove pretty cringe when you're not prepared for it.
Frozen is the only movies where I'm not bothered by too many songs, because every single one tells more in the few minutes than they could have without them! Not just the lyrics but even the notes have a purpose, it's insane how well thought out the songs are, every single one is telling every persons character arch perfectly! And, the reason I think you're getting Moana vibes from the music is because the non-singing soundtrack of Frozen is inspired by the Scandinavian Nordic Sàmi people's oral singing, what the Northuldra is based on. They used the same elements in the first movie as well, and the high pitched sound Elsa's hearing is the same kind we heard when Elsa ran over the freezing fjord in the first movie and it's actually a woman not an instrument.
I love Anna but yes she was annoying in this movie because she kept holding Elsa back , it was very annoying to watch but I also get that she just didn't wanna lose her sister but yea some journeys are meant to be taken alone..but since Ive watched this movie over and over like 20times her actions don't annoy me anymore but I still get the message

I like frozen 2 better than I did frozen 1, but most favorite part of Frozen 1 is when Anna punches Prince Hans off of the boat, and then when he was thrown into the cell and got the bucket on his head.

Some Things Never Change is meant to be ironic, because if you watch during it, you see a bunch of things change right as they're mentioned.

They locked their daughter in their room for 13 years, saying that her ice powers are pure evil and if she won’t control it, she’ll basically turn into a monster. And they lied to their other daughter about her sister, not allowing them to interact at all. Still think they’re good parents?

Where in both movies did they say Elsa's powers are evil and that she'll never control it? They tried to help her however they could, but they fundamentally misunderstood Grand Pabbie's warning and were totally out of their depth anyway. I don't know what I'd do if my kid ends up with magical powers. I wouldn't isolate my kids, sure, but I don't know how I could help my kid learn to control their powers. It would overwhelm me too and I guess they did what they could. They clearly cared for their daughters but they were just people. Flawed, like everyone else.

I'd also recommend watching the shorts that happen between the 1st and 2nd film for a bit more added context.
The movie to song ratio of this is nothing compared to the animated movie Strange Magic(Lucas Films), which all songs are covers of actual songs(I will argue there's a couple covers that are better than the OG).
But back to the point, Strange Magic can hardly go like...5 minutes most of the time without a song. It's pretty crazy, and can prove pretty cringe when you're not prepared for it.
Frozen is the only movies where I'm not bothered by too many songs, because every single one tells more in the few minutes than they could have without them! Not just the lyrics but even the notes have a purpose, it's insane how well thought out the songs are, every single one is telling every persons character arch perfectly! And, the reason I think you're getting Moana vibes from the music is because the non-singing soundtrack of Frozen is inspired by the Scandinavian Nordic Sàmi people's oral singing, what the Northuldra is based on. They used the same elements in the first movie as well, and the high pitched sound Elsa's hearing is the same kind we heard when Elsa ran over the freezing fjord in the first movie and it's actually a woman not an instrument.

I love Anna but yes she was annoying in this movie because she kept holding Elsa back , it was very annoying to watch but I also get that she just didn't wanna lose her sister but yea some journeys are meant to be taken alone..but since Ive watched this movie over and over like 20times her actions don't annoy me anymore but I still get the message

I like frozen 2 better than I did frozen 1, but most favorite part of Frozen 1 is when Anna punches Prince Hans off of the boat, and then when he was thrown into the cell and got the bucket on his head.
