Fun fact: The news reporter animals are different in different countries! Zootopia is the American name, just like they did with Viana and Moana (it's based on how the definition of the words translate in other languages than English... I think).
I believe it was due to a possible copyright issue. A Reddit user says: "I believe there is a zoo in Denmark that has the EU trademark on 'Zootopia' and Disney decided the name change would be easier than going through legal channels (..)"
The Moana/Vaiana change was due to an adult actress owning the rights to Moana in Europe. Not something you want kids googling. Zootopia/Zootropolis was another name rights issue iirc

I saw this the next week. So for that reason it’ll always have a special place in my heart.

I doubt you'll ever get to this, but just know I love your videos!! It's always great to see adults watching and enjoying animation, there's so many underrated gems, and just because it's animated doesn't mean adults can't enjoy it too. The main character's journey to find where he truly belongs and discover the meaning of love and friendship is so compelling. Every time I watch it I find something new I like about it, and I would be over the moon if you ever got around to reacting to it!! It's so underappreciated and it needs more acknowledgement!
This is one of my favorite Disney movies it's called Zootropolis in Europe that's why you and me will mostly hear it being referred to as Zootropolis my Dutch neighbor
One of my favorite things about this movie is that Gideon doesn’t get comeuppance. He just grows up and apologizes. He was a kid, too, and hate can be unlearned.
What I’m surprised no one’s talked about is how the lack of smaller officers like Judy has left the smaller creatures un-policed. The biggest crime boss is a mouse because no one would suspect him and the police can’t go into his community.
I've never thought of that but it makes so much sense! But also now with Judy's success, the ZPD might start looking into hiring even smaller animals for policing the little rodents, now ruining things for Mr. Big
Fun fact, Ginnifer Goodwin voiced Judy Hopps. She played Snow White on ABC's Once Upon a Time, where she met her now real life husband, Josh Dallas, who played Prince Charming. Josh voiced the frantic pig who got robbed.

Okay, I know it's been months since I've commented on this particular reaction, but I've JUST NOW noticed this. There are NO domesticated versions of any mammal in this movie. No domesticated dogs, cats, cows (no that animal in the spa wasn't a cow, he was a yak), and I have YET to find a horse. I think it's because this is a alternate version of Earth where no people were ever evolved to take over. No humans, and also therefore, no apes or monkeys. I'm also pretty sure there are no reptiles in Zootopia, and VERY few birds. Maybe there are some in the Rainforest District as postal carriers, but that's it. Also, I think the predators eat mainly fish. It's the reason they focused on a fish market in the Tundra Town area when the train went through it. It explains a lot. Also, I think they left out the Australian marsupials, but they could be on an island biome area, like Australia/New Zealand. I wonder if there's an official map, like you get with Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and other franchises like that.
How is Nick a millionaire? 1,440,000.00 or whatever over 20 years. He makes around 70k a year, and he has a partner so divided by 2 it's 35k or 45k if he gets bigger cut, not bad but not great either, no hard work though...
The key point is Nick specifying that *He* makes $200 a day, suggesting that it's already his cut of the money. Either way though, he still hasn't payed his taxes.
Starring Judy Hopps, a newly graduate of the police academy assigned to Zootopia where something sinister is afoot with the predators going crazy. With the help of Nick they attempt to track down the culprit
according to psychologists who reacted to this movie said the theme was implicit/explicit bias and pixar movies are usually based in reality so that's the difference between that and disney movies
The whole Zootropolis thing is freaking me out lol. It’s like I’m being Mandela Effect-ed. I watch in the artbook, The OG movie was about Nick, but it goes depresing so they change the protagonist. He was a poor boy, his father goes for a loan and they send him to prision for a misunderstanding in front of kid Nick. He had a really bad childhood.
If he ever does series reactions (cartoons) I'd kill for Gravity Falls!
Yes Please! 🤩👌
yes!
Oh my gosh yes!
Edit: also just noticed that you have Ori as your banner so my opinion of you just skyrocketed even higher
I can’t believe it 😂 “PTSD The Musical”
Lmao 🤣😆
"Oh no, he had an Adidas track suit too". Lol 😂
I doubt you'll ever get to this, but just know I love your videos!! It's always great to see adults watching and enjoying animation, there's so many underrated gems, and just because it's animated doesn't mean adults can't enjoy it too. Speaking of, a movie you probably haven't been recommend yet is Home! It's a DreamWorks movie from 2015, and it's the perfect combination of hilarious, sweet, and heartfelt, truly beautiful scenes. The main character's journey to find where he truly belongs and discover the meaning of love and friendship is so compelling. Every time I watch it I find something new I like about it, and I would be over the moon if you ever got around to reacting to it!! It's so underappreciated and it needs more acknowledgement!
Gonna check it out! & thanks!
This is one of my favorite Disney movies it's called Zootropolis in Europe that's why you and me will mostly hear it being referred to as Zootropolis my Dutch neighbor
Did anybody else have perfect timing with the head and shoulders ad: right after he mentioned that the yak character nedded shampoo.
The clothes are a ✨ vibe ✨
Big
True! :) (Mr. Big is a shrew though not a mouse)
After all these years, people STILL watch this for the first time! :D
My favourite movie for over 5 years now :P
Fun fact: The little fox that works with Nick is voiced by Tommy “Tiny” Lister who if you see the movie Friday he plays Deebo.
Sad he passed away last December:(
🥕 your reaction was so good to watch, as always my man! love your videos, keep the good working dawg! 🥕
Fun fact, Ginnifer Goodwin voiced Judy Hopps. She played Snow White on ABC's Once Upon a Time, where she met her now real life husband, Josh Dallas, who played Prince Charming. Josh voiced the frantic pig who got robbed.
Keep what ever makes you comfortable, man.
Yo the culture shock that I just experienced having seen this movie a ton of times yet seeing it again with a whole different name
'dumble clap for nickolas' this is what harry potter does to people. and I am not complaining.
This movie is basically called different in every country.
Officially it’s Zootopia, but some have Zoomania and others Zootropolis...
The reason it is called Zootropilis in Europe is because there is an Ukrainian zoo called Zootopia, and so the name is copyrighted in Eruope.
For future reference, the boy in the moon is actually a Dreamworks opening, and Dreamworks is a direct competitor of all things Disney.
18:27 I believe I can speak for all of us Ramon's (by the way good job at getting our nickname right )when I say we love jokes it's just that we tend to be serious when we're on the job
🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕
I remember when I first watched zootopia
It's been my favorite movie ever since
Zootopia was trademarked in Europe by another company so Disney had to change the name of the film in Europe to Zootropolis.
Not at me literally discovering you yesterday and binging on every video you have! You're legitimately making my days 100x better. Please keep doing what you do! ❤️
Funny that you were talking about Disney and Pixar and then you said “boy on the moon” 😂 And that’s DreamWorks 😂👏🏻
The movie is originally called Zootopia. The name was changed in other places like the UK and Australia. Zootopia is the og name.
This feels like an alternate universe, I had no idea that Zootopia was called Zootropolis in other countries.
Flash at the end has me dying every time 😂
How is Nick a millionaire? 1,440,000.00 or whatever over 20 years. He makes around 70k a year, and he has a partner so divided by 2 it's 35k or 45k if he gets bigger cut, not bad but not great either, no hard work though...
It’s just a joke.
you must be fun at parties
The key point is Nick specifying that *He* makes $200 a day, suggesting that it's already his cut of the money. Either way though, he still hasn't payed his taxes.
he's the oposite of friendly...
unfriendly.
It’s me that just had to show all of my friends that you liked my comment on the last video ❤️ it’s me that’s obsessed with this channel!!!
Wow thanks 😭 love this energy
Starring Judy Hopps, a newly graduate of the police academy assigned to Zootopia where something sinister is afoot with the predators going crazy. With the help of Nick they attempt to track down the culprit
32:11 I Think This Is The Most That Rival Has Laughed
DreamWorks: Man in the moon
Pixar: Living lamp
Disney: Castle
32: 08 I think Flash was speeding because sloths are slow, so it would take him some time to push the brakes. Idk that's just my theory.
The pink is a vibe! 💗
I love this movie. Especially the relationship between Judy and Nick! 🥕🥕🥕
"We bunnies are good at multiplying"... whoa!!!
according to psychologists who reacted to this movie said the theme was implicit/explicit bias
and pixar movies are usually based in reality so that's the difference between that and disney movies
The whole Zootropolis thing is freaking me out lol. It’s like I’m being Mandela Effect-ed. Feel like Zootopia makes more sense as a title, since the city is supposed to be a Utopia-like place where predators and prey live together in harmony… until the fire nation attacked I’m sorry I can’t control my brainnnnn
18:46 Can't be much of a 'sly fox' if you a) self-snitch to an actual cop and b) think ripping off a mob boss is ever a good idea.
The big body guards at the wedding would be more effective because of better veiw of everything at least
I can't believe you predicted the grown man in the baby suit XD
Love the pink jacket 😍 You should wear it in the mean girls commentary. You'll get it when you watch it.
Alright im gonna try to remember this one haha
Can you please consider reacting to Rango? It won an Oscar and has Johnny Depp. It's so good.
I love the part in that movie where they show Sheriff Amos' headstone and it says, "Thursday-Saturday" I'm not sure why but that always cracks me up haha
Keep the jacket. It looks good on you and you rock the colour. 👍😊
Fun Fact: Shakira played the character Gazelle. In 2020, Shakira and J-Lo performed at the NFL Superbowl Halftime Show where Shakira wore the red dress that Gazelle wore.
"Shut up mommy"
R.I.P Baby Hippo
17:33 Literally playing out Judy's role as the scene plays, ha
next should be "Sing"
Disney: " You can be Anything"
Me: Can I be a sea monster?
Disney: "You can be ALMOST anything"
‘I wonder if the P in Nick’s name stands for Purrrr’ 😭😭
