      My shop buys Afghan rugs produced in Andkhoy that are getting really good. They aren't quite Persian (Iranian) carpets but they are less expensive and for the price in my opinion are getting better than most Turkish rugs. We deal with Tribal designs not really city ones like Isfahan or Tabriz. But for me ranking rugs Persian, Azerbaijan than Afghan. The only thing from Turkey I would sell is a Flat Weave Kilim.

    As an Iranian I'd say that carpet worth 100k. I've seen ones more expensive than that, which if you see won't believe worth that amount.
    Sometimes a rug is expensive just because of the weaver. Famous weavers have their own signature on carpets, like painters, and collectors from all around the world pay for their carpets.

      Wow that's Interesting
      And legit too, many famous dress designers (specially westerners) cost alooot more then the Spent to design and Make a Dress, more than the Actual worth...Bcz it is More of the Name of The Designer people will show off to others, 😂 this the business.. Literally you can make same dresses in 1/5th the amount but..a copy will be a copy
      This always confused and made me laugh that
      Things made by famous Designers are too much costly, and People buy it literally 😂....

    • @alimo9625
      @alimo9625 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dieselbeastgamerkushgod7784 I understand the confusion but is not like that, in fact carpet weavers are so under paid that one of the problems in the industry is that no more young talents are interested in pursuing this career.
      when you buy a silk carpet multi kilograms of silk is used which is very expensive itself, other than that if you watch carpet weaving you can see some of material must be thrown away (knots they make are longer than the knots of final product) and on top of these the time for making a quality carpet is between 2 to 3 years of work.
      On the other hand the system of the industry is a big problem too, there are many middle traders involved and even though each make a profit and adds to the final price yet they are not making that much either. Finally the prices you hear in the video as the gentleman says are shipping included, those are heavy carpets so the shipping itself cost a lot and they have to pay export tax as well.
      Overall I agree the system should be fixed and cut the middle men but even if that happens Persian carpets will still cost a lot.

    A tip is not to go to those kind of carpet shops but the local ones they sell much cheaper but better quality with no gold in side the carpets

    • @pinkheart315
      @pinkheart315 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      DANS REVIEWS AND STUFF yeah that shop looked expensive the locals would be cheaper like in every country. Though that shop has good quality rugs😍

    • @amiramirani1040
      @amiramirani1040 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      DANS REVIEWS AND STUFF not necessarily. As an Iranian I'd say that carpet worth 100k. I've seen ones more expensive than that, which if you see won't believe worth that amount.
      Sometimes a rug is expensive just because of the wover. Famous wovers have their own signature on carpets, like painters, and collectors from all around the world pay for their carpets.

    • @ShaneyElderberry
      @ShaneyElderberry 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amiramirani1040 The problem with that assessment is that most of them are just traditional signatures, rather than sincere (sometimes added later). The quality of the knotting and embellishments mean more than a probably fake signature. A huge Tabriz rug in 70 raj quality is worth more to a collector than the garish pictorial rug in the video, because the 70 raj rug will probably be in a museum in the future.

      Mr. Bangladesh
      Persia is the ancient Greek name of Iran, Persia-Iran, PersianLanguage-Farsi, Persians-Iranians, they are same, only the native peoples use the second term, just like Germany-Deutschland , Austria-Österreich..
      On 1935 King of Persia forced the foreign countries to use the term of Iran instead of Persia, the reason behind that was that the countries like Soviet Union and England wanted to take a part Iran so the King has done this to unite the people of Iran.
      And on 1959 the Shah announced that the western countries can officially use both terms Iran and Persia.
      I don't know why you keep commenting about Iran and trying to misinforming peoples!
