Buenas tardes y gracias por tu tiempo. Tengo una pregunta, se puede vincular el R10 al PC con cable?. que programa se utiliza si es posible la conexion.
Brilliant Joe. I know everyone is firing out requests out to you right now but could you do a set up video for Rapsodo MLM2 Pro + GSPRO + web cam putting?
Thanks mate! I will get around to it at some point. I'm currently away for work now but I'll hopefully have something out before Christmas. Springbok actually did a video showing how to do this I believe!
I was trying to set this up yesterday and failed. I could not get the right sequence of what to turn at what time. Having tried many different ways, with no success. Now with this video I got: 1- turn on R10 make sure to pair it with the computer. 2 - turn on GSpro 3 - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT (yesterdays missing part) Run GSPRO-R10 as administrator, accept the Win rules. Result, flashing green light on the R10 ready for shots. Can't wait to get some shots in after work.
Hello Joe Love your videos I finally got everything working but at certain times the Garmin R10 disconnects and I get a message that “TCP client disconnected….” Once that happens it does reconnect but I’m unable to finish the round and have to restart. Any suggestions or thoughts as to why it disconnects
Hey Joe love the channel. I have a Garmin R10 and am looking to go rom Awesome golf to GSPro but am having trouble understanding the difference between pricing bundles. Will GSPro run and have courses for the $250 a year.
Hey Rick definitely do it mate! GS Pro is amazing. I still absolutely love Awesome Golf and use it a fair bit for practice but the simulation play on GS Pro is great. So the pricing structure is pretty simple you can pay the yearly subscription fee of $250 USD and then keep paying that each year like any other subscription. The lifetime membership is $550 and what that means is you will get all the updates within that first year. After the year ends you will still have GS Pro as it is on the software version it is when your first year runs out for life. You will be able to play GS Pro and not pay anything however you do lose a few things!! You won't get any updates to the software, you won't have online play, you won't have access to SGT tournaments. However you will still get courses and you will be able to play it for the rest of your life on that software version. If you do want all of that stuff then you can pay the $250 for the year and you can get the updates. So say if you want to not pay that subscription for 3 or 4 years then there is a massive amazing update you can pay the 250 and get all the updates. How that makes sense.. for me I just do the $250 each year! I might do lifetime membership in 4 or so years... But for now $250 is a great deal.
Hi Joe, great channel. I'm looking at purchasing GSPro but am reluctant to do so until I can pair my R10 with my PC, which is proving problematic. The first stumbling block is that I'm running windows 10 which doesn't have the bluetooth advanced options on it ( or I cannot find it). I've tried all the other options mentioned within your video but I'm still unable to get my PC to recognise the R10. I'm using a Bluetooth dongle which is over 5 years old so I'm not sure if this is the problem, Any advice would be appreciated. All the best
Hey Mark sorry for the late reply mate!! Glad it's all sorted and that was going to be my suggestion. Good luck with the rest of the build. If you have questions like this definitely join the Facebook group (Joe Lagowski Golf) as there is a whole community of people on there that can help out and a lot quicker than me through the TH-cam comments.
Question for you guys. Got the Garmin to connect to the PC. Am not able to get any data from shots to GS Pro. Test shots work but am unable to hit any shots myself that register on GSPRO. Any tips/ places to look?
Hey Matthew that's really strange there have been a few people reporting issues like this recently. I guess with a lot of new users at the time of the year. So when you hit a shot is there data going into the mholow connector? You should see it in the script. I guess the point is to try and figure out what part in the process it's breaking down. If you are getting data come into the mholow connector then the breakdown is happening between the two connectors. It could be a few different things but a lot of them should be covered by turning off all firewalls and the other steps in this video. If you have done everything definitely open a ticket with MHOLOW on the GitHub page but if you can try get all the information for him first up it's best.... As in where the issue is happening and all the troubleshooting steps you have taken. Cheers mate I'm sure it will get sorted
Thank you Joe. Going to look into the details. Ended up being okay using the Garmin app with the e6 connection. Maybe is misses a shot every 4 holes or so and I need to wake it up but all in all not bad. Really appreciate you leading this community. Lots of golfers out there looking to connect with each other and I know I appreciate your help across the 3-4 videos I’ve seen. Awesome to see you play some courses as videos. Looking to do some of the same here so thank you for paving the way!
Thank you for your videos again just finally got my r10 connected tonight. I just have one question I've hit my first drive but it keeps sending me back to the tee block even tho I'm on the fairway. Mulligans are turned off and I'm not sure what to do.
@JLagGOLF you were spot on! I have another question I'm looking for a video if you made one on how to setup a Webcam for putting on the garmin r10. Thanks as always!
Hey Joe! Thanks for helping me get everything setup. I seem to be having an auto-putt issue where the setting in GSPro is set to auto-putt fixed but doesn't auto when I'm in the green. Any suggestions?
That's very strange mate is that on every course? Once you're on the course as well if you open the settings and have a look is it still on auto putt? If not I would suggest emailing GS Pro support. They might suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Sorry I couldn't give you an easy fix!
Thanks for the content, I’m following everything exactly as you showed to set up the Bluetooth direct, I hold down my r10 button to pair, pops up on my pc Bluetooth devices and then says paired. Shortly after I get a blue flashing flight on the r10 and when I open everything up I get the green bar on the top of open API but the gs pro adapter doesn’t go through it’s set up and seems it’s not properly connecting, that’s as far as I can get. Anyone else have this issue?
Hey mate sorry for the late reply I have the Lenovo Legion 5i pro it has a core i7 and a rtx3060 graphics card. I upgraded it from 16 to 32gb of RAM. I also have it on a cooling pad just a cheap one from Amazon I think it was around $30 but yes as soon as you boot up GS Pro the fans kick in. It's not obnoxiously loud though.. Cheers
Thank you so much Joe, I have a question for you or anyone else that might be able to help. Everything worked great connecting the Bluetooth on my computer to my Garmin R10 but sometimes it just stops working. I can still see the data being sent but when it stops, it stops sending the info to GSPRO? I've tried everything I know to do. Turned off all my blue tooth devices except my computer, checked for all updated software. Sometime when I would turn the Garmen R10 off and then back on, I could get a couple shots out of it before it stops sending. The funny thing is, most of the time I can see the data being sent but it's losing the signal to GSPRO. Sometimes I can get 9 holes in before it starts acting up. Any help from anyone would be very welcomed and thank you again.
Hey mate that is really annoying! It sounds like the issue is the data being stopped or held up in the MHOLOW connector not speaking to the GS Pro open API connector. A simple solution is to go to the settings and hit the button that says reset GS Pro connector. This should then get them talking again. Not ideal as its not a permanent solution but should at least get it working again. I would definitely open a ticket on the GitHub page explaining this to MHOLOW and see if he can follow it up. Also I had a subscriber talk about something he did that might help I’m not sure but he went into his .JSON file and turned the E6 coding to “FALSE”. This might be something to check and see if it works but definitely open the ticket with MHOLOW. Cheers
Thank you so much! I loaded everything up and there was one step I did not try, but when I did it really helped. This step was to turn off the Windows Firewall. The only problem I have now is on really short 10 yd chips the R10 will get stuck on red and will then need to be rebooted. I did try the Reset GS Pro connector, but I have not tried changing the E^ coding to "FALSE". Thank you for your help and have a fantastic day! @@JLagGOLF
Hey Joe Hoping you can help I have the R10 as a Bluetooth device but once I run the GSPro adapter the R10 doesn’t connect it just stays in a flashling blue state Any suggestions
Hey Rich have you connected it to your laptop and does it say paired on your computer? Make sure you turn off or disconnect the r10 from your old mobile device as well
I can see data popping up in the API connect BUT not reflected in GSPRO ie I hit the ball, api panel has data but the ball doesn’t move in the game. I have control specifically turned on to launch monitor and not mouse.
Ok I’ve fixed this. Firewall was already off and the data was showing up in the API connector BUT running everything as admin made it work (hold shift, right click, run as admin). Hope this helps someone else.
That is strange so when you open GS Pro and the mholow connector if you look at the Bluetooth window what is the name of the Garmin? Some people it changes to Garmin R1 instead of Garmin R10. If this is the case then you need to open the .json file and change the name to Garmin R1 in there.
Connected my R10 with bluetooth to GSPro yesterday, worked for about 30 minutes then started reading shot info but not sending to GSPro...in connector window it says "recording", "processing", "processing" with all r10 data then "interference_test", "waiting". Tried without laptop using my I-pad and E6 and it works flawlessly. Not sure whats happening...laptop interference, bluetooth signal? Any help greatfull.
Hey Tom it sounds like it's the actual MHOLOW connector that just for whatever reason stopped working. Did you try just close out of it and then just relaunch it?? If it keeps doing this and you have done all the troubleshooting steps in the video including turning off firewalls ect then I would definitely let Matt know through the GitHub page. You can actually leave a ticket and explain what's happening there and he can help fix it. Cheers
I am having the same problem. Been using this connector for some time and it seems to intermittently (and sometimes very frequently) drop the connection. Extremely frustrating and "embarassing"when trying to play a game especially with others. I am not sure what the issue is. Not sure if mlm2pro is any better but am about to give up on the Garmin. Terribly frustrated.
Thanks for this Joe, I am having trouble when I leave the sim dormant for a bit, i.e if a work call or similar comes in and I walk away it seems to auto disconnect. I can go back into the gspro-r10 software and get to reconnect, the API says connected but GS Pro flat out refuses to register a shot unless I reboot and lose my game. Very frustrating! Any help great received. TIA

@@edoardobarzano978 The iPad is definitely a good idea for using e6 as it's a bigger screen. So you shouldn't have to enter port or up numbers to access e6 on the iPad. Hey mate the R10 will calibrate when you launch the mholow connector. If you watch the script when you first open it and it connects to the R10 you will see it says tilt and a value... This is the connector doing the calibration. There is no need to do the calibration before hooking up to your PC or laptop. Cheers
Finally got the connector to recognize my launch monitor but the connector shows - Connecting to OpenConnect api over and over without connecting. Can you help?
It opens correctly to R10. I now am able to connect and when it says connected I line up for a shot and nothing happens. The light on the Garmin stays white flashing which means standby mode. I can not get it to register a shot. Love to connect offline if possible
The biggest thing for me was advanced Bluetooth on (didn't show up initially in the new windows software) and turning on the GitHub software before connecting. It will NOT stay connected if the GitHub isn't running for me. Also, turn off any iPhone bluetooth. They monopolize Bluetooth and you will be unable to connect if one is around.
I can't connect to Bluetooth despite trying everything. I've removed all firewalls, disabled other Bluetooth devices, switched to advanced mode, reinstalled and updated Bluetooth drivers, updated the Garmin R10 software, connected with Garmin Express, disabled 'check apps and files' and other security settings, and ran the PC troubleshooter. My computer connects to other Bluetooth devices without issue, and the Garmin R10 connects easily to my phone and iPad. I've even tried the external bluetooth dongle and am considering buying another. I've also emailed garmin today, hopefully someone has an answer soon cause i really wanna use GSPro
no name brand dongles.. just my dongle that worked for everything else around the house, then i tried my brothers dongle from his computer.. i do not have onboard blu tooth..i was running win10 pro but took the chance to go to windows 11 now.. failed on both OS BTW.. let me state i do not have a GS pro subscription. i wanted to make sure it would work without buying the subscription. Hey mate sorry for the late reply! That's really frustrating and I'm sorry you can't get it connected. I don't know why the R10 is so temperamental with connecting to computers. The only thing I was going to suggest is to try an Bluetooth dongle but you have already done that! I know there was a guy that was similar to you and bought a single and it worked. I forget which one he said he got... I'll try find the exact model and get back to you. If you trawl through the comments you might find it. So is the R10 just not coming up in the list of Bluetooth devices??

Keeps saying connection failed. Did anyone else have this issue, if so. Can someone help me out here. Had the sim for 2 weeks and I can’t connect my app to e6 to use my laptop
Hi Does anyone have an issue where PC can see the R10 and connects briefly but then disconnects almost straight away . I have tried to remove and reconnect but having no luck. Cheers
Have you taken the connector out of the folder? Don't take it out of the folder as it needs to be in there with the .JSON file as the connector reads the file once open so needs to be in the same folder as it.
My r10 connects to bluetooth, then immediately disconnects. Ive tried turning off all other bluetooth devices. But nothing works. Has anyone fixed this?? Please help!!
If you haven’t seen or tried this already you may have to rename your garmin R10 to Garmin R1 in the settings.json file before opening the adaptor. When I connected my Garmin via the advanced route it renamed my Garmin for some reason and would connect until I did this.
Ran into an issue (and solved it): I was able to finally connect the R10 to my windows laptop upon turning Bluetooth to advanced mode (as Joe points out in the video). However, the Bluetooth connector app couldn't detect the R10 so I was stuck.

Thank you! Finally works..
I love that! What fixed it?
Brilliant Joe. I know everyone is firing out requests out to you right now but could you do a set up video for Rapsodo MLM2 Pro + GSPRO + web cam putting?
Thanks mate! I will get around to it at some point. I'm currently away for work now but I'll hopefully have something out before Christmas. Springbok actually did a video showing how to do this I believe!
I was trying to set this up yesterday and failed. I could not get the right sequence of what to turn at what time. Having tried many different ways, with no success. Now with this video I got:
1- turn on R10 make sure to pair it with the computer.
2 - turn on GSpro
3 - EXTREMELY IMPORTANT (yesterdays missing part) Run GSPRO-R10 as administrator, accept the Win rules.
Result, flashing green light on the R10 ready for shots.
Can't wait to get some shots in after work.
Nice! And thanks for putting this in the comments section it's exactly what I wanted this video to become with more troubleshooting tips.
How do you do that ? Not great at computers
Hello Joe
Love your videos
I finally got everything working but at certain times the Garmin R10 disconnects and I get a message that “TCP client disconnected….” Once that happens it does reconnect but I’m unable to finish the round and have to restart.
Hi Joe, just an update on my issues. I purchased a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle today and the R10 paired instantly.👍
Hey mate it sounds like you loaded the course up in practice then on course practice.. Make sure you select local match then the course
Cheers
Great video Joe. Have you had any experience with the new r10 gspro connector through Roxorgolf? Apparently gameplay spin in gspro is enhanced
Thanks mate! Not yet but I definitely have that one written down and intent to try it.
Cheers
What laptop do you use? Does the fan for it run nonstop?
@@JLagGOLF
Hey Joe
Hoping you can help
I have the R10 as a Bluetooth device but once I run the GSPro adapter the R10 doesn’t connect it just stays in a flashling blue state
Any suggestions
Hey Rich have you connected it to your laptop and does it say paired on your computer? Make sure you turn off or disconnect the r10 from your old mobile device as well
Hey Joe, I’m having the same issue. My R10 was used previously on my iPhone but the Bluetooth is turned off.
Hey mate glad you sorted it and thanks for updating your comment! I'll keep this in mind if someone has a similar issue.
Cheers
@@JLagGOLF no worries at all buddy, appreciate what you do so happy to help where I can.
Hey Joe
Yes it is listed on my PC as a device but says not connected. I then deleted the R10 from my mobile device.
TIA
Thanks mate. So in that case have you tried going in to the settings and hitting the reset GS Pro connector? That's definitely worth a shot
@@JLagGOLF Thanks Joe, no I haven't tried that. Will definitely give it a go and report next time I have the issue. Thanks for what you do! I see the Peregian shirt are you a Sunny Coast local too? I played pennants for Peregian a few years back!
@@nigelpetrie9094It should work 🤞🤞. Thanks mate I really appreciate that. My parents live on the Sunny Coast and play at Peregian! I'm there most of the time at Christmas and get a round or two in. It was such a good course that is slowly getting destroyed by all the houses going up and them having to change the course 😢.
@@JLagGOLF your suggestion worked! It allows me to keep the round going so thank you! Absolutely agree re Peregian, such a shame great layout too many changes. I've left now and back at Beerwah and loving it!
Hi Joe
Great work with out you I would’ve never got it running, as others have had program running then goes to sleep you suggested resetting gsp connect
Could you please advise on how to do
Keep the information coming
Thank you
Tony
thanks
Hope it helped mate! 👍
Hi Joe im connected to my laptop and believe I'm now connected to the zip file . When I turn on gspro it won't find the launch monitor . Any help would be appreciated
Hey mate definitely step through the connection video slow time th-cam.com/video/9wt06I_euHs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-GoUINtby4i-L_Ha
From there is you're still having issues join the Facebook group and post some pictures. The biggest part of the troubleshooting is to figure out what part of the chain is breaking down so then we can come up with a solution for that.
Cheers
Hi and thanks for the video.
I can't connect the r10 to e6 connect on the pc...
If i connect it to the garmin app on my phone after on e6 can't see the device.
Wasted a good 2 hours today trying this.
Hey mate have you figured it out now? Are you all sorted?
Cheers
@@JLagGOLF hi there. No it will not connect...
Not too sure what I'm doing wrong but it doesn't connect.
Also i think I'm not gonna get an ipad for e 6 connect.
Might do awesome golf for the first year.
As it seems pretty good for some options.
GSPpro looks like the go here but I'm gonna wait for that...
Just wished this e6 connect would connect to the garmin...
I've typed in the ip and the port in the garmin golf app, but nothing.
@@edoardobarzano978 The iPad is definitely a good idea for using e6 as it's a bigger screen. So you shouldn't have to enter port or up numbers to access e6 on the iPad. You just need to go to the Garmin mobile app and then golf Sim scroll down to e6 and then click play on iOS. Then you will get your iOS licence with the 5 free courses. Garmin should have sent you a code to activate them
@@JLagGOLF they didn't but i think it's in the econnect portal when you unbind it.
Thanks for the advice. I'm not getting an ipad though.
Will go with GSPpro, just concerned of issues connecting the garmin to the pc...
Any advice?
Joe everything connected but I noticed my R10 did not calibrate, any ideas?
Hey mate the R10 will calibrate when you launch the mholow connector. If you watch the script when you first open it and it connects to the R10 you will see it says tilt and a value... This is the connector doing the calibration. There is no need to do the calibration before hooking up to your PC or laptop.
Cheers
Finally got the connector to recognize my launch monitor but the connector shows - Connecting to OpenConnect api over and over without connecting. Can you help?
New PC for me, Connector will not open, saying it needs an app from the app store to open? Any ideas?
Hey mate you definitely do not need an app. Have you tried doing everything in the video? Like firewalls? I haven't heard of that one before.
Nice! Thanks for the message mate and the feedback. Glad it's all working for you!
Cheers
I can't connect to Bluetooth despite trying everything. I've removed all firewalls, disabled other Bluetooth devices, switched to advanced mode, reinstalled and updated Bluetooth drivers, updated the Garmin R10 software, connected with Garmin Express, disabled 'check apps and files' and other security settings, and ran the PC troubleshooter. My computer connects to other Bluetooth devices without issue, and the Garmin R10 connects easily to my phone and iPad. I've even tried the external bluetooth dongle and am considering buying another. I've also emailed garmin today, hopefully someone has an answer soon cause i really wanna use GSPro
you are not alone bro ..mine wont connect tried 2 diffrent dongles ..still nada
@@anthonydamas1428 which ones did you try and what version windows you got? I'll let you know if I figure it out
no name brand dongles.. just my dongle that worked for everything else around the house, then i tried my brothers dongle from his computer.. i do not have onboard blu tooth..i was running win10 pro but took the chance to go to windows 11 now.. failed on both OS BTW..
let me state i do not have a GS pro subscription. i wanted to make sure it would work without buying the subscription. Do you already have a GS pro subscription?@@backflipsaresweet
Long shot but I was playing the other day and my buddy walked into the garage and couple minutes later lost bluetooth connection. Couldn't re pair the garmin to the PC. Turns out my buddy had a garmin watch on and we think it confused it. We kicked him out then it worked again
So is the R10 just not coming up in the list of Bluetooth devices??
where can i get latest connector download?
Hey mate this is it: github.com/mholow/gsp-r10-adapter/releases/tag/v2.1.1

Is there anyone that can help me connect e6 thru my garmin app. after I configure to the e6 software with the port number 2483 n my ip address on my laptop, the garmin app doesn’t connect thru the app after inputting the port and ip address to TEST CONNECTION page! Keeps saying connection failed. Did anyone else have this issue, if so. Can someone help me out here. Had the sim for 2 weeks and I can’t connect my app to e6 to use my laptop
My Garmin connects to the computer for couple seconds and then says not connected?? Any tips?
Hey mate it will say that then when you launch GS Pro and MHOLOWs connector it will pair up and be ready.
@@JLagGOLF it works!!!!! I’m having blast!!!
Hi Does anyone have an issue where PC can see the R10 and connects briefly but then disconnects almost straight away . I have tried to remove and reconnect but having no luck. Cheers
I keep getting message j.son file not found or could not open
Have you taken the connector out of the folder? Don't take it out of the folder as it needs to be in there with the .JSON file as the connector reads the file once open so needs to be in the same folder as it.
you are a absolute beast !!! thank you 23 hours of pain lol
can i remove and make it shortcut after?
My r10 connects to bluetooth, then immediately disconnects.
Ive tried turning off all other bluetooth devices. But nothing works. Has anyone fixed this?? Please help!!
Had to buy a new 5.0 TP link dongle.. up and running now and
Nice really happy to hear that mate!
No luck . R10 wont connect to connector only Gspro.
If you haven’t seen or tried this already you may have to rename your garmin R10 to Garmin R1 in the settings.json file before opening the adaptor. When I connected my Garmin via the advanced route it renamed my Garmin for some reason and would connect until I did this.
Hey mate did you get it sorted in the end?
Cheers
Ridiculous 😂
