When you found a baby bird, the first thing you do is find out how to feed them. We fed it with boiled dry dog food and egg and smashed them together. After it grew bigger, I added with dry bugs.

please dont feed any birds milk or dairy. theyre highly lactose intolerant. bird "milk" is something entirely different. also bread isnt great for them either, especially for a baby
Yes. Please only feed protein with hard boiled chicken egg and softened chicken/liver pate in cat food petite cans. Or purchase meal worms at pet stores. Worms are best.
I'm feeding a new fledgeling just starting to open its eyes , blended meal worms, berries , fruit baby food, cooked egg yolk and a small amount of peanut butter with water. It seems to be doing OK.
I have one fell out of its nest been 2 weeks now. Hes getting bigger and seems like every 30 minutes hes calling for food and water. I feed him blueberries ,strawberries,grapes but he loves wet Cat food from friskies, called shreds because they are long pieces . He's got a heck of a appetite so he keeps me busy. Lots of cat's around so ill keep him for a little longer.
I currently have one in my yard. The parents are close by but don’t seem to be helping much. I, starting to wonder if I’m about to be a bird mom but will wait and she if the parents come through first.
Didnt say what to feed him like headline says then feed too much at once, then too much. And they should have water first one drop. I doubt this lil guy made it without heart stopping.

THANH HOA LE Hi Thanh, I just found it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own, ALL wild native birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and you can be fined or jailed for keeping this bird in your possession. Look for a rehab here: www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact.htm

how did you make it eat itself later on? 🤔 I have been feeding for 2 weeks, its pretty big now but it doesnt want to eat fruits, seeds etc. and it doesnt want to eat itself.What should I do?

Feral cats have got 2 doves n a chickadee last week. My bird feeders looked neglected. this morning I saw two bucks at bird feders

you can give him that he likes it but you can try new stuff or on google
Is it legal to keep a rescued Blue Jay as a pet , does anyone know ? I got so attached to my bird now , it's hard to let it go back to the nature.
