I am so sorry you had to go through this and my heart goes out to you so much. I truly believe that men can be very unhealthy and toxic toward each other, creating an expectation towards other men that may very much not even be possible for themselves to accomplish. You are a true warrior. I pray that you will never be in a situation where you feel miserable even close to this again. God bless you!
I left another comment on a previous video of yours, but when I was at basic I got COVID and sent to isolation barracks. Had to be there 7 days, they wouldn't let me leave early. They let me continue training as soon as I got back and I had made up 1 of the events I had missed as soon as I was able to. Continue training all the way up until the last 2 weeks and then one morning during first formation my name is called by our senior drill sergeant and I'm told to grab a battle buddy and go over to her. She informs me that they've put me in non-training status due to having missed the repel tower and the confidence course and that I wouldn't be graduating and I'd have to come back next year (I was split ops/basic only and had a mandatory return date home). Honestly the hardest part about me not graduating was calling my mom and telling her that I wouldn't be. Go again in June doing OSUT this time so wish me luck.
I couldn’t remember his name! Bro, do you remember when our Commander slid down the rope that normally you climb upside down on? That dude was prior SF too wasn’t he? Also, what did DS Hill always use to say about “morale will improve”?
I think CPT Ahern wanted that 100% graduation rate so bad he was willing to risk anything lol I don’t know if I think this because I was just a private at the time, but he seemed like the most high speed soldier that you could possibly be. Like his devotion to the Army was unmatched. Didn’t one of our Drill Sergeants get in trouble for basically abusing soldiers? It was our main DS. His name is on the tip of my tongue.
just got back from osut September 22,got my green card sign up the next day, nation guard ny. hot as hell good experience, thank God didn't do winter, i did sleep in the rain storm. rain all night,no big deal curl up in a ball with my wet gear and fell asleep in the dirt
“Fell asleep in the dirt” lol that’s the life brother! Did they start your citizenship process at OSUT? It was hot at the end of my time there, and that sucked too lol
@@SFCBEITZ no, i did not SFC, i intend to start the process in the weeks ahead of getting citizenship, sleeping in the wet dirt that is the life, thanks for your video,
I thought they automatically started it for you at OSUT! You’re welcome fam, many more videos to come. One of the most dear to me coming very soon. I’ve been waiting for years to do the video so that I had a decent size audience because the story is pretty nuts. It’s the day I earned my bronze star medal.
I ship Sep. 23rd 11X w/ option 4. waivers finally got through and i’ve been doing a little bit of research but i was wondering if there’s any way to get 11B over 11C? or is it all by chance/luck?
Yeah it’s by luck/chance…you’re a lot more likely to get 11B over 11C though because the demand for 11B’s is much greater. 11C vacancies are limited. If you end up as an 11C, tell them you’ll only re enlist if they let you change your MOS to 11B!
Your ability to explain situations about the military is second to none.
Man, I greatly appreciate that love! Hope all is well! I appreciate your ongoing support!

Wow that’s so brutal man! It’s great to hear you haven’t quit or given up mentally. Damn COVID 🙄
Man I remember this - Ahern was Ranger of the Year the year before that, so he pushed everyone 100x harder.

Can you tell your opinion about the national guard infantry for women?
I watch a feel videos about it, and your opinion is important. Thank you.
