Could US B-21 With AGM-183 ARRW Hypersonic Missile Strike Moscow? (WarGames 199) | DCS

  • Today we take our first look at America's AGM-183 ARRW Air-launched Hypersonic Missile. Development by Lockheed Martin was officially cancelled in early 2023, but it was unofficially restarted in late 2023 following research improvements. Today we fire the missile from a USAF B-21 stealth bomber at a fictitious Moscow, defended by S-400 SAMs and Su-27, Su-35 & Mig-31 fighter aircraft.

Just hope they understand cooperating and being innocent is what many currently serving time said.
They do a Damned good job of creating very realistic scenarios that may be ruffling some feathers. Worth having a good Lawyer briefed on MCMJ...Google will NOT protect Grim Reapers...they will throw them under the bus if they already havent.

I was once investigated by an undercover U.S. Marshall who was implanted as a "volunteer" on a project I was heading. The reason? I had a habit of going slightly out of my way to use a restroom that was in part of the building with almost no foot traffic (because I preferred the privacy it afforded me whilst taking a dump), rather than use the high traffic restroom just a few feet from my office. Naturally the geniuses in charge of the agency assumed I was making these furtive moves because I was secretly the office drug dealer. The agency actually had their own federal cops but I was just too big a fish to leave the matter to them. Besides, what if they were in on it too! But in the end I got away with it because "it" didn't exist.
After a few weeks my "volunteer" stopped showing up and eventually my direct supervisor told me about the whole thing. Apparently the Marshall wrote in his report that this had been the dumbest assignment of his entire career. But I have zero doubt that there have been thousands more even dumber investigations since because...Government. Good luck with yours!

That was my guess. Looking at the previous vids the only one I can imagine being an issue for certain is the A-50 shot down by stealth patriot that GR did 2 weeks ago. I honestly would not worry about it, NCIS have a certain nickname with these sorts in the military "Snowdrops". Honestly I know tons of people who have been in trouble with them, just get a lawyer if it ever comes to it (which is rarely) and tell NCIS to go through proper channels. Unless CAP or GR have been hacking defence intelligence then NCIS can get stuffed.
For real, even that renowned American detective from Colorado, Joe Kenda told the Air Force reggies to jog on. Military police have no power or jurisdiction with civilians and if a civvie breaks a law, be that the secrets act or whatever, then regular police are brought in and it goes to high court. In fact NCIS can get in huge trouble for not going through the proper channel which is the courts and foreign office (that is precisely what they are there for) which already puts NCIS on the backfoot.
Maybe NCIS should be worrying about Chinese espionage and Russian and Iranian double agents while maintaining their own secrets rather than going on TH-cam and bullshitting around.

I had a friend in the 1980's who worked for TRW. His job was extremely classified but essentially it involved WWlll scenarios. They ran simulations to determine best strategies for military operations, primarily strategic. The stuff you do on this site would probably stimulate interest in an organization like TRW... whether it is to hire you to help run scenarios or to silence you is unknown. Although the information you have is in the public domain, the fact of the matter is, you do this very well and that could make them nervous.

I worked for TRW. Of course in the 1980's if this level and quality of simulation was available, that would have been great. TRW was bought out long ago, however. I any case, DoD and its contractors do a huge number of simulations for all sorts of things. They have no need to worry about this channel - they will have something comparable or better, with more people flying/simulating full time and better tweaks to the AI. They probably even use some version of DCS, but again put more people into across the board (programmers, pilots, planners, etc.).

First, great mission and thanks for the video. Second, regarding NCIS, they're effectively the US Navy Department of Justice and handle both internal and external legal matters for the USN. Their involvement likely means one or more (my guess is, more, as they wouldn't waste resources on just one) instance of your videos or data being more accurate than they anticipate to be coincidence. Of course, having provided articles to you on a first-hand basis, I know your sources are open source. I apologize for the US government harassing you and threatening your family on a financial level. However, if this went anywhere, I'm pretty sure the US population would be very supportful if it came to providing donations to fight against any unesseccary strong arm tactics from the DoD. Given the timing and Cap’s description of how comprehensive it is, along with the specificity of NCIS’ jurisdiction, my first suspicion is that either the ASW extension might be really similar to the system they actually use for submarine testing, or the guys ended up using an approach to a mission matching an actual classified OPLAN.

NCIS is the Navy's FBI. Interestingly, they use mostly civilian agents while their Army and Air Force counterparts (USACID and AFOSI) use mostly service members as their special agents. They also cover things outside their primary jurisdiction, USACID covers security for and investigates threats against the SecDef for example. Like everyone, they have more cases than they can investigate so if they are actually looking at you it's more than curiosity. Cap is not a US citizen, and has not signed a classification agreement. So actually - even if he was a US citizen, if he had classified information and released it he would not be suspected of a crime if he never signed the agreement. In any case, there is probably some information that NCIS has that a cleared naval staffer (civ, uniformed, or contractor) mishandled classified information, and maybe they think he may have sent it to Cap. Cap doesn't have to comply, but it sounds like if he doesnt the US gov can hold Google responsible, and Google is (as Cap says) the boss. Just a note - I'm a semi-retired crime analyst and former US DoD intel analyst. There are a lot of reasons why NCIS would ask for the data - none of which implicate you in criminal activity. As I've written in other comments - there could be some concern that a cleared person provided classified information to your channel or someone who at least participates on the channel (such as someone who develops some of the weapons and systems); or someone has committed a serious crime, like terrorism or child pornography, and NCIS is just going through their entire life/digital history. It could be all sorts of other things - but nothing to do with the scenarios, flying skills, etc. Since you are neither a US citizen nor a US govt employee, and you are not cleared, it'd be very hard for you to violate a law that is under NCIS's jurisdiction. Unless you are providing logistical services or something like that to the Navy - ie. fat leonard.

NCIS can only demand your data by a proper subpoena or pursuant to a court order. NCIS can only investigate alleged criminal activity involving the Navy. Assuming of course that all parties are going by the book. They can also just ask for the data, but asking is a request that you have every right to refuse. They can't just see your work, wonder how you get your data, and demand that you supply it. If they have issued a subpoena or have an order, then you would have to challenge them in court. I would ask to see the subpoena or court order, just to satisfy myself that everyone is following the law. But I doubt I would fight it.
Anyway keep up the good work, and don't worry, they can't send you to the Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth.

    A nice debut for ARRW.
The universal thing about hypersonic missiles is that they turn your area defense systems like S-400 and Patriot into point defense systems.
The S-400 would've had a better chance of intercepting them if they were flying straight at it.
Also, hypersonic missiles DO NOT SLOW DOWN BEFORE IMPACT. That defeats the whole purpose of having them.

When China and Russia say they have hypersonics, they do but their standards are low, as in they can probably only aim those precisely to within 50 miles accurately of their target. American standards will not allow for this inaccuracy to call it an effective weapon. I promise you America has this capability but will not mass produce until it’s an effective worth while weapon.

As the sm2, essm, sm6(and other countries navel based defences) and patriot pac-3 seem to have a better PK maybe the russian s-350 might have a better chance with AWACS support to at least see if any defence can be possible against the new agm-183 or even the proposed HACM, Perseus, Brahmos 2 and Zirkon ground hugging *hypersonics* (i don't know if any of those missiles can actually work at hypersonic speeds)?
