Growing up I had a 1994 Honda XR80. I begged my parents for a 2 stroke. My classmate Dusty had a Kawasaki KX80 that bike was so much more fun than mine when it ran!! Another classmate Stony had a one of those RM 150s. All the years we were in school, I saw Stony ride that 125 1 time!! Dusty got tired of my bike not being able to keep up with his!! The only good thing about that XR80 was it never broke down... I rode that bike into the ground!! I keep telling myself I'm going to get me that CR500..... Someday!! Keep up the great work bud!!

I'm so here for the Suzuki! Back in the day, way back........when they still sold 2 stroke street bikes, I had a Suzuki 185 street bike. I loved that bike.
Old motocross bike's like if I remember correctly Honda with it's pro link suspension. Kawasakis uni trak. Suzukis full floater and Yamaha's monoshock. Are all worth the effort to bring back to life.
You can fix the case damage with Marinetex. It is strong enough to drill and tap, too. I've repaired many engine cases [evan VW] with Marine tex through the years.
One of the fastest dirt bikes I ever rode was an early 90’s RM 250. Buddy had it. It was piped, a little port work, some other questionable mods. Either way, it was rowdy fast. Love the bike projects for sure. Keep it up.
great era for RM. love my late 80s or early 90s suzuki. have a 87 Quadracer with 91 piston and port timed. those were really fast and good bikes for the era.
Well , the 91 and 92 RM's were voted the 2nd and 3rd ugliest bikes of all time and they are some of my fav bikes of all time . A lot Guys dislike the RM's , good luck with the 95' , thank you .

Hi Will , like a 1985 ? I had a V65 magna and that Suzuki ended up being as fast or faster if I recall . I worked with Jay Gleason in FL , he was the rider that set the record for the V65 ...he’s on the Honda brochure cover if I recall .

(Kind of hard to find some of the parts i want and need).. Btw.. Idk if the air box has a mug gaurd protecting-covering the air box? If You know what? I'm talkin about and that are able to get one or Have one I will gladly purchase one if you are willing. Frame gaurds are another i havent been able to find in years. Very nice. I learned to ride on a TS 125 back in '93. I have no idea what year the bike was (it was a loaner) but it had a to be "a few" (late seventies, maybe) years old. Will you be able to repair the damage to the crank case? Apart from that, the bike looks good. Cheers, and stay warm!

My 2000 CR250 spit it's piston's face off before the finish line at Gatorback and i was bikeless. My best friend and I had new 2002 RM250's for next year , awesome bikes , enjoy that 125 👍.
My RM's were always bullet proof except when I started riding the 250's I had to remember it's not a 125 , stop fanning the the clutch . The 2 inner clutch plates would break

I had a " kid " helping me out when I was up from FL racing in New England . Somehow the pillow tops made their way on my bike . I didn't make it thru practice without arm pump . Looking back it might have just been me holding on too tight LOL ....fast track , big hits✊

But unfortunately the overseas shipping costs are way too high. :-( 2) Honestly: I'm really good as a bad example. :-) ;-) What I always did and still do wrong is too much diversification and procrastination resulting in too much started projects (having and storing a lot of unfinished projects). Thank you 21'...this build is for my Buddy who bought one new in 91 and traumatized me with it lol . I had a clapped out , raced by the previous 2 owners , top end only powered 1990 KX125 ...his RM had great low / mid power and he weighed 135lbs !
Oh ok buddy it’s gonna turn out nice. I just picked up a 1979 Kawasaki KE 100 2 stroke bike Friday evening got it running yesterday missing the headlight lens and gas cap but I’ll take care of that stuff later. Keep up the good work bud love the videos
@@5150mxVW Have you had a cr? top ends last much longer. the parts are made better & stronger. We all know rm top ends are piss weak compared to most of the other bikes. yz, cr much more lasting engines
Oneness Seeker the last CR250 I had ( 2000 ) spit the face of its piston off in the turn before the finish line jump at Gatorback . Luckily it didn’t grenade off the finish line . I won’t argue the quality of RM’s to the CR’s and YZ’s but RM’s have been fine for me .

96 was the 1st year Suzuki went back the return to a conventional fork...I bought a 98 RM125 new and it was my fav 2 stroke I ever owned .

Thank you 21'...this build is for my Buddy who bought one new in 91 and traumatized me with it lol . I had a clapped out , raced by the previous 2 owners , top end only powered 1990 KX125 ...his RM had great low / mid power and he weighed 135lbs !
Oh ok buddy it’s gonna turn out nice. I just picked up a 1979 Kawasaki KE 100 2 stroke bike Friday evening got it running yesterday missing the headlight lens and gas cap but I’ll take care of that stuff later. Keep up the good work bud love the videos

@@5150mxVW Have you had a cr? top ends last much longer. the parts are made better & stronger. We all know rm top ends are piss weak compared to most of the other bikes. yz, cr much more lasting engines
Oneness Seeker the last CR250 I had ( 2000 ) spit the face of its piston off in the turn before the finish line jump at Gatorback . Luckily it didn’t grenade off the finish line . I won’t argue the quality of RM’s to the CR’s and YZ’s but RM’s have been fine for me .
