    been raw till 4 for about 3 weeks now- i love breakfast smoothies - it took some getting used to only having raw foods at lunch time- but now i crave a big salad for lunch!!! dinners are usually a buddha bowl or some kind of burrito bowl or even a sushi bowl- it was hard at first to eat this way but now my body craves these types of foods amd meals

      in 3 weeks I have lost 8 pounds, but I didnt really do this to lose weight- it was something that i have wanted to do for a while and one day I just decided to do it. my daughters and I do aot of hiking and lift weights, cycle, anything I can do outside! I was vegetarian for 10 years and then went vegan about 3 years ago, now I am wfpb. This way of eating has cleared up my skin and has given me this beautiful healthy glow not to mention off the chart energy! Eating this way is like drinking from the fountain of youth- I hope that whoever is reading this decides to try this way of eating set aside a month 30 days and this will change your life!!! sending you love and light

    I related much on this one....
    Feels great to obtain a sense of satisfaction affirmed by knowing you're doing some things right.
    I've had my vitamix 19-20 years and still going strong. I just used it tonight for dinner. Also I ordered my hurom juicer and cant go wrong with a instapot....
    Definitely making the juices this next season.

      I love being active and if I'm not careful I end up losing weight. I have a hard time with big portions so healthy calorie dense snacks would be great.

    You speak so highly of the Vitamix Blender at one time you spoke highly of the Hurom Blender. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and was saving my money to purchase a powerful blender for healthy smoothies. I was undecided of which blender to purchase so I decided on the Hurom Blender of which you spoke so highly of I paid $349.00 for this blender. The Hurom Blender lasted for maybe two years before some motors blew out and then it started leaking. I notice you no longer speak of the Hurom Blender had I known better I would have chosen the Vitamix...well 20 20 hindsight. I'm still a fan of your videos.

    Hello!!! I am a new subscriber and I love how beautiful your family is and the food and healthy choices you make. I wish I had the will power to stick with this I do good for a week or two and then fall in a rut. I think it is a mental thing one week I could be going well then the next I fall off. I want to feel good at most times if not all times. I want to know what to eat and what works with my body. I would love to become a health coach because I want to help people and myself have a better relationship with food. I will continue to look at your videos and get some inspiration to try my best to stay on track. I love eating plant based I just get so overwhelmed sometimes with what to cook and those sugars cravings are the worst. We’ll have a great day.     What do you suggest for knowing how many calories are appropriate? I have read so much advice, some say 2000 and some say 1400! Quite a range. I want to lose weight. Dont I have to be in a calirie deficit? Or is it different when eating whole foods/juices? How many calories do you aim for ?Thx for your insight ❤

    Erin, do you think I can sustain easy vegan with beans, pulses or lentils as I cannot digest them (even with soaking etc)..,
    I have quinoa, buckwheat, tempeh, nuts, seeds, chia, hemp, pea protein & egg whites at the moment. Would be great in your feedback, thanks 💗

      Hey soak them for at least 8 hours, even a day, then put them in the instant pot on the beans setting for like 15 mins!

    What are your thoughts on raw dried fruit (unsulphured/sulfite free of course) ? Do you guys find it good on digestion?

    Would this way of eating work at any age? As women go through the menopause does the metabolism slows down? how do you stop the weight gain around the middle…diet and exercise?
    Also do you advocate intermittent fasting? I eat generally healthy but could improve snacks and want to eat a treat with my teenagers around 9pm but not sure if this is causing the weight gain!

    Guys I love your channel, really great content. 1 thing, consider buying frozen fruit from natural grocers. Whole foods import alot from china, theres no telling what toxins are in there from the thick toxic pollution in the air and water there

    Can you eat all of this without working out and you lose weight as well? I’m so busy during the day with work and then by the time I am done with work I feel exhausted and I have no motivation to work out. I know these fruits and vegetables are healthy for you, but too much bananas as an example would that make me gain weight because of the sugar if I’m not working out?

      Hi Angie, 100 no. Please experiment and allow yourself to enjoy fruit. Fruit being bad for you is an unfortunate myth. We have MANY doctors and friends who are living this lifestyle and prove it to be amazing for not just weight loss and management but EVEN diabetics! I would recommend check out our friends Robby and Cyrus at MasteringDiabetes.com. Fruit in its whole food form has fiber and water that make it completely different then say a candy bar... We could go on and on, but its best you go watch some of our videos.... We eat bananas and mangos all day and have for years and we are not fat haha. Try it for yourself! Just make sure your steering clear of other hidden calories in like like oil!
