  • Keeping windows on your tourer or motorhome clean and relatively scratch free is no easy task. This video 9sorry about the length!) hopefully helps you keep your windows clear and also easy to keep clean. With sunroofs and large window areas its so easy for these to become badly scratched over time. If you have a new tourer - look after the windows to keep them looking good and offering clear vision.

      I particularly chuckle when you get your words mixed up which is a trait I have myself! I am laughing with you not at you! I like anything to do with caravanning so keep them coming and I love your used reviews in Practical Caravan

    Good video, great to see people sharing experience gained over a lifetime.
    Your van looks to be in as new condition, sadly vans of that era are starting to get B&Q makeovers now.

    Hi Andy. Which auto finesse graphite product did you use. There seems to be so many different ones to choose from.

    • @caravanindustryexpertandyjenk
      @caravanindustryexpertandyjenk  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its the Graphite Dennis - its got a slight cutting agent plus adds a wax - its good on black cars it doesnt smear - apply sparingly in dry conditions then buff off - it beads well and makes cleaning easier with a wax coating

    Always look forward to your videos. It's a losing battle keeping mine clean as we have to store it and the caravan club site make it such a faff to get it out to the wash bay. I pay through the nose to constantly get it covered in oak sap!
    Good tips about the windows. I was really weary when I first bought our Bailey as in 2006 there were loads of issues with the windows crazing with micro-fine cracks. We had a couple replaced under warranty but it was a battle to get them to accept it. They tried to say it was down to the incorrect cleaning product which it wasn't. At that time we'd been so paranoid that we'd only used their recommended products. Since them I've used all sorts with no issues, but agree that Autoglymm are hard to beat. I've also used the resin extra protection, but it's a bit hard to polish off. Seen they've also started doing rapid ceramic spray so might give that a go too.

      Ahh tree sap that is a problem even parked for a week by trees your right
      I remember that now on the cleaning thing personally a tie up I think with the manufacturer and bailey at time yes ceramic is next big thing I was never keen on autoglyms gloss to watery for me to use
      I have ceramic stuff but turtle wax not a big fan as it isn’t easy to get off thank you for watching and your encouraging comments too !

      Hi to be honest go over with a damp cloth then again use a polish dont do when its damp though - you will be surprised the amount of muck coming off them which reminds me I must do ours!

      err!! what to use basically to bring that new look and reduce scratches as most use a cloth that further scratches the surface and its a shame you didnt take the tips 😆
