    T-Cut + polisher to get it shiny and clean, then nano coating to keep it in good stead.

    Good work, we go to a local American type car wash, £3.00 foam hot wash, brush around, gently jet wash off from a distance 👌 and a ride out.
    Also put your plugs in after the zaflora

      That sounds like a decent price ! Can’t argue with £3.00 ! Just hope we can all get out and back to normal , sooner the better , thanks for watching & commenting Stephen 👍

    You really need to keep the roof clean which helps to stop the streaks on the sides. The muck accumulates under the roof openings so it's a good idea to open the roof lights and clean round the frame. It's surprising how much muck gets under there. If you get streaks near the windows you need to do the same. Swift windows just pull upto the oblong hole but the windows are larger than the holes and a different shape so lift the windows and clean round the edges. I use Collinite Wax on our Carthago. One good coat will last a year.

    Hi Mike it's a couple of months since this video went out but I want to share this with you and your subscribers, we've had our MH a year now the roof wasn't terrible but I've just washed it with a mop & bucket, wash and wax, it's come up superb really happy, rather than drag a heavy brush and hose pipe up there I would recommend this.
    Plus if your in storage and hose pipe isn't available this is great just take a mop, bucket and extendable ladder.
    No more black streaks 🥳👍👏🤷‍♂️

      @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s great I’ve literally just done mine again and it was in a bad way ! Terrible in fact , 6 months in storage , lots of moss and grime under the roof vents , it took me all day to clean just the roof , but my motorhome is 10 years old and I dont think the roof had ever been cleaned by the prev owner ! Glad yours is nice and clean and streak free 😀 thanks for replying
      Happy camping !

    I spent 4 days polishing our motorhome as it had gone really flat and no shine at all, I used two cutting compounds one course and one fine then a sealant to finish it off, looked great for 6 months then it was flat again!!! We live in southern Spain so the sun is very strong and we can't get it inside anywhere so around March we are going to spray the whole thing as all the panels on ours are grp. Hopefully it will be easier to keep clean🤞

    • @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel
      @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i can imagine it’s a nightmare trying to maintain the shine down there in spain , i’ve seen some of the cars down there with paint peeling off , faded panels etc , and fully blemished caravans and motorhomes so i know exactly what your saying , good luck with the paint job hope it helps out , thanks for watching the video 👍

      Hi richard , if the streaks are definitely on top of the decals a normal warm water wash with a small amount of fairy liquid & after an exterior polish should do the trick , depends on age of van and decals with regards to the result you get as they may be ground in
