I would have kept the wheels (but that’s mainly because I don’t like stock wheels on anything aside from steelies) and just changed the tire profile to something a little bit thicker. The one with the crack can be rectified. A nice weld with some cross stitching for additional support would fix that up. Lastly many of the rusted stuff underneath would be replaced, so a new catalytic converter, and a new exhaust system would go on this car. The mufflers I would change for something that would give the car some grumble but not so much to be obnoxious, they would be an OEM style but just new to replace the crusty ones that were on it originally. Since the car has the rear lip and the side skirts, I would attempt to fix the front lip, just to give it some uniformity with the rest of the stock body kit that was on this car. Clean up the interior and that’s pretty much it. Lastly I wouldn’t have replaced the taillights. I would have just put a layer of red vinyl tints over the clear tails just to have that factory taillight color without having to go out and buy a set of taillights.

If you removed the one 14mm bolt holding the coilover to the fork you turn it by hand and adjust your ride height. No beating on the coilovers for hours.
If you ever need to adjust the coil overs again, wash the treads with a wheel brush, it makes it a lot easier to adjust them without it having to get bound up.
I dont care how bad its painted, I am just thankful somebody is doing it. As a mechanic I had to constantly undo others mods to make a car useable again. Where I live the roads are so horrible it's hard to get away with rims. If a car is lowered, there are places you cant go at all. If you have ever been around branson mo, you would understand. Finally somebody who want to preserve the integrity of this car. The tsx is a unicorn hands down.
agree on everything except changing out the taillights. shit looked hella dope
I would have to disagree lol
Ben, if you’re going to mask up to paint, wear a respirator with an organic vapour cartridge.
A dust mask is really doing nothing for paint fumes. Wrong mask for the job.
Ive always loved this generation tsx/accord. Sad to see what some kid did to it and how bad it was damaged. I honestly cringe when i hear a stance car scrape and the person driving brushes it off saying “it’s just the subframe” smh. If cars could talk im sure it would thank you 1000 times. Good job Ben you did what you could and the results look a lot of times better.
Subframes are replaceable but the actual frame isn’t. So as long as the actual body of the car doesn’t it damaged it’s fine.
@@FG4Kiddo The subframe is a critical part on a car, it holds the suspension, engine/trans and keeps rigidity to the body. Replaceable or not lol nothing fine about causing damage to your car for some likes on insta.
@@manlb9254 most static drivers doesn’t do it for others. We do it for ourselves because we love the look of the car. And 85% of the time I don’t even hit my subframe when I’m driving. I can only speak for myself on that part not others.
3:25 Ben hammering syncs to the background song, it makes my head bangs back and fort 🤣
I like these unruining a ruined car videos
These cars needs more love!! They are so underrated.
Unstancing??? Instant LIKE!
You know there’s some Stance kids going “look what they did to my boy” or something watching this 😂
Thank you for saving this car! Feels good that it will live on another life unstanced.
Thanks for putting one more stock-looking 1st gen TSX back on the road. They're getting to be a rare sight.
You guys should do this more often, buy stanced cars revert to stock and resell. Saving the world one car at a time.
Upstancing the Acura looks so much better, keep it classic 👌
I knew Ben would restore this monstrosity! Lol
Thanks for the great videos G&G!
EDIT: Also the hammering being in-sync with the music at 3:35 😂
I would have kept the wheels (but that’s mainly because I don’t like stock wheels on anything aside from steelies) and just changed the tire profile to something a little bit thicker.
This is what happens when you “respect all builds” No care put into this car, drywall nails and Mickey Mouse ideas.
3:26 the hammering and bgm sync was 👌
Nice
TSX is my favorite car in the world, great to see it presented on the channel.
Still don’t know how the TSX made it all the way
Issa honda!
out here doin gods work. some 18 year old jdm sad boy ruined this poor car
I’ve always had a huge crush on this car. 6speed k20 with full leather and gorgeous bodywork. Yet understated in a way. Was a hoot watching it donk it’s way across America, but def glad you brought it back to a classier configuration. 🖖 keep making kick ass content
actually is a k24 with a deep stoke of 99mm, the k20 stroke is 86mm
Thank you for saving this car, it looks so much better. Those 5 spokes were choice though
If you removed the one 14mm bolt holding the coilover to the fork you turn it by hand and adjust your ride height. No beating on the coilovers for hours.
Thanks for saving this beautiful car
ok lowkey the hammering in sync with the beat is so satisfying on 3:26.
Narrow roads with sheer drop on one side and cliff face on the other. Nowhere to pull over, so better have your shit on point.
Stance cars: For when you want a car, but not to drive it, just to meme with it lol
even the thumbnail it already looks 10 times better. Glad you guys didn't straight away trash the car
these k24a2 are restricted from factory 188whp , all you gotta do is un-restrict them and these tsx are really fun dailys, it needs reflash ecu from hondata, headers/exhaust, cmc kit, vtc 50 cam gear, rbc intake mani swap, j37 tb swap, rsx type s oil pump, it'll guarantee to make 230 to the wheels
Looks about as good as an x-stanced car can look without spending serious money. Loved this series and can’t wait for the next one!
3:26 he timed the hammer hits to a song with the same BPM! This makes my ears happy!😁
So happy to see you back doing what we love you doing Ben
