I'm just glad these new guns seem to be released hot right out of the gate. Back when S2 started none of the three guns (FAMAS, 93R, KS23) really stood out on release and it had to take multiple patches before they would be considered to compete with other existing guns (and even then to this day a case can be made that the 93R falls flat in practicality compared to the XP54; the Model 1800 and AK can feel better than the FAMAS; SA1216 can still be counted as the close range powerhouse to go with etc.) Like I get the approach back in S2 to tone things down slightly as a response to other games having a new gun for a new season be hot out of the gate to force incentivize players.. but we are dealing with 3 guns at once, and given how just as relevant cosmetics are for new guns, the standard release-hot-then-patch could still be the model The Finals would lean towards anyway
I have a feeling these guns are gonna be way too op when they come out, noone will want to play with other guns anymore, ive been learning the medium shotgun for a while now and im getting pretty good with it but that light shotgun looks way too good, might have to start off playing light to even come close to a win in season 4
I agree, it sucks that in season 2 and 3, the weapons didn’t really shake up the meta in any meaningful way. The only one you see being used in high level play is the famas sometimes (which I personally think is my favourite medium weapon to use right now actually lol) I can already tell that all 3 of these weapons could be viable though right off the bat which is exciting.

Both are fine just depends on your aiming style. That’s why it’s good to have both in games. Personally I am far better at tracking than single shots more flicky style

I'm glad the deagles aren't like black ops akimbo tier and are actually somewhat reliable medium range, I was concerned it was practically gonna be a 3rd shotgun with its inaccuracy... The DMR, I'm mostly happy I'm finally gonna have another alternative to consistently do marksman/pistol weeklies with. And the shotgun, it kinda looks powerful, might just completely make the sawn-off obsolete, but the rate of fire seems like it's a bit balanced

M26 looks like it shoots out 11 pellets, with each pellet dealing around 11-12 dmg each Pike seems to do 60 dmg per body shot, and 90 dmg per headshot, not sure about dmg at farther ranges though Akimbos look to be dealing 45 dmg per body shot, and 90 dmg per headshot, with a pretty big falloff at range
@M4W3L to be fair, bimbo was going for only headshots almost the entire video. Like ok bro, your cracked, you can deashot dummy in the firing range I get it. They still do look super strong.

Sad that Riot Shield saw no changes, but the new weapons all being single fire are easier to play into as a Riot Shield comparatively to an automatic weapon, so I assume they are easier to fight (especially the shotgun). We’ll have to see what other weapons become powerful in conjunction with these ones I suppose.
