Bought the same filter system and the same strips. And guess what... after adding and adding salt due to low readings I now have a high salt code🤦♂️🤦♂️ thanks for the video!
Hi, line your video, having the same problem and thanks to your video, we can get it done. Also wanted to know what you did with your pool steps, did you build your steps out of wood going into the pool? Also the the three water sprinklers, how did you do that? Please let me know. Thanks a lot
would love to see how you plumbed it with pvc plastic pipe, would love to do this on mine but unsure how to connect these fix end pipes to pvc pipe and what parts are needed. I live in the UK.Thank for sharing.
I am literally pulling my hair out trying to figure this system out!!! My system is not making chlorine....unfortunately I cant find salt strips around here. So frustrating because I put 8 bags of salt so I should be good.
@@getitdone308 22'x52" 10,000 gallons. I just ordered salt strips so hopefully I can figure out if my SWG is faulty or I just dont have enough salt. First time pool user myself so Im struggling. I might try shocking it tomorrow and see if that helps too.
If all you've added is the 8 lbs of salt, (no more...even previously), you should have the right salt ppm with that size pool. So now the big question...why is your chlorinator not chlorinating? Based off of what are you determining that it's not producing chlorine? Are you testing the water and the results show no chlorine? Are you running the chlorinator (do you know how to)? Bottom line is that with a saltwater system, you HAVE to have salt in the pool because the chlorinator literally turns the salt into chlorine. No salt=no chlorine. When you filled the pool initially, how much salt did you add?

Apparently I fell for the bogus strips too. Thank you for this video, solved my issue!
Glad it helped.

I have a video on the sprinklers. Check out my channel. I also have a video where I go over the ladder.

Check out my other videos. I show how I did it. My latest one shoes the final "plumbing". It's great!
Have the same problem so drain pool tomorrow. Thanks for your video. What salt test strips would be best?
They all work the same. I prefer the chemical tests (put water in the vial, add drops, etc.). They are best

Hi Tiffany, are you getting any error messages or codes on your chlorinator?
@@getitdone308 No, nothing.
How big is your pool? How many gallons?
