- Imagine being other game devs and looking at Tears of the Kingdom, and just wondering how the entire game industry will react and change future projects based on what this Zelda game did, absolutely wacky.

I've seen the book from Breath of the Wild with concept art and sketches and we do not understand any circumstances need a modern day Link. It looks so wrong on every possible way.

I wanna see a more traditional zelda game next. An improved traditional format taking the good from BOTW and TOTK, but isn't just a third game, a game that more closely resembles the Zelda of the past, but is still new

The futuristic cyberpunk esque was one of the first concepts for Botw, Link would wear casual clothes similar to what we have today, he would use an electric guitar as the main instrument and he would ride a motorcycle. The motorcycle returned in Botw DLC as the Master Cycle. And if I remember right the main threath in the concepts that was scrapped was an alien invasion

the totk memories are like skyward sword 2 as they come next in the timeline but they are anything but linear storytelling
@groovy3 no they definitely don't. Those memories are much further in the timeline after the 3 timelines. That's how it is as that suggests that the imprisoning war happened before aLttp, which isn't possible and has rito and zora something which must happen over a long distance of evolution in the series so the memories aren't next in the timeline
@@The_Lorule_Catalogue although they do say it is the “era of founding”, you make a good point. i would put it in the adult timeline for the founding of new hyrule if i could but the technology doesn’t match. if anything, it’s either right after the calamity of 10k years ago, or it’s after skyward sword
@@The_Lorule_Catalogue the imprisoning war is in the downfall timeline but they fight the dark beast ganon from oot and his forces, not ganondorf like we see in totk. the zonai also don’t exist so maybe there could have been a mistake in the development of the games.

I think it would definitely have some ocarina of time vibe or style of story where link explores different timelines of hyrule with some time power or whatever. Either Zelda could be a character you play with, or she would be like lost in time again. I feel this would be a great way to add in more of the map, like after ganondorf the sky islands and dephs disappeared but each timeline you could explore would have a different map. Game of the year

Part of me wants a kingdom building game were you have to recapture, restore and defend the kingdom. This then gives way to a science fantasy world built from that kingdom. I'd also live a mainline game where you can play as Zelda or with co-op so the duo can team up.
[I just had a thought, there is a conspiracy theory that the demon kings rebirth is tied to Link and Zelda's reincarnation, so what if both Link and Zelda are kept alive in stasis in an effort to forestall Ganon's rebirth?]

It’s not a romance game. That will probably never happen, that’s just not what the story entails. The only one who had romantic potential with link is Mipha, but she’s deceased. He is far too focused on his duty as a knight then to pursue a romantic relationship, which is why we will probably never see any romantic cannon events happen, at least until the last game. Also there’s a lot of people who don’t want to see link pursue that type of relationship, though majority do. It will take many years for us to maybe eventually see them spark romantic interest in one another, because they will most likely be remaking games which don’t involve romance. And also the developers did state that they believe in link and Zelda’s romance, it’s almost obvious that Zelda has mere feelings for link, or at least cares for him very much as they are childhood friends, but the developers stated that their possible romance doesn’t make the game what it is. They allow the audience to decide if it’s romance or if they are just good friends, so it’s up to your own imagination.

I assume we’re going to get a smaller project (Like a sequel to Age of Calamity for example) followed by a remake of an older Zelda game before getting BOTW part three.

Same to be honest, tears of the Kingdom was a bit of a letdown it still is a good game but it’s not at all the best Zelda game it has a lot of problems and while I like the building mechanic, I don’t think it fit a Zelda game. It probably would’ve fit more for a multiplayer sandbox game where people can share their builds and fight enemies with a Builds instead of forcing it into a Zelda game and if they are going to make another open world game, make it Hyrule smaller there’s no need to make a big map with nothing in it, but filler just make a decent size map and add what you can to it. I’m tired of seeing filler in Zelda games. It’s not fun and it’s not worth the money.
@@blakelandry9313 i feel like for six years of making its really way too similar to botw i mean most of the sprites are the reused from botw so why did it take them so long to make when it only took less than 2 years to make majoras mask that is more different from ocarina of time than totk is different from botw

What I'm looking forward to on the DLC for tears of the Kingdom is those twin witches that are seen in the cutscenes standing beside ganondorf. They have always been my favorite

I had an idea of making a game where you play thru some adventure and at the end it’s a big reveal that you were the villain the entire game and after you beat the “final boss” the real enemy appears and reveals that you did nothing but evil and was working for him cuz he put some veil of links eyes to make him see the good guys as bad and then it could have a sequel of you fixing the mistakes and actually defeating the big boss.
im guessing that theyre gonna close off the depths and open portals to the dark world. it would have a similar effect where it doubles the map size, but they would have more creative freedom, allowing them to do varying climates and civilizations. they could also introduce yuga, zant, or vaati as the villain now that ganondorf is dead.

I really want to see a zelda game where the three timelines are merged into one
BOTW nad TOTK are set far into the future so that all of the timelines are more myth than history, but we see relics from all of them (ex majoras mask and the windwaker PJs) existing at once, so it's possible they were merged in some way.
Here's what im thinking:
The gameplay is a combination if 4 swords and a link between worlds, where you have multiple links to control across multiple worlds, the world you start in (A) has the spirit of the hero, but not the body or mind, the intro ends in the spirit temple, where the shot pans to reveal 2 other links have also been following the path there. At any time you can go to the spirit temple to change which timeline you're playing in, and you van also move items throughout timelines, with a few exceptions.
So you go through the game, playing all the links, and eventually you pull all three master swords, I think it'd be cool if this was also in the spirit temple, and they all have to be pulled at once, as this is one of the items that can't move from timeline to timeline.
from that moment you are locked into the final boss fight sequence, and can't switch links anymore until you defeat phase 1 of all of the fights (it's realitively short, and you switch links after you defeat one until you beat all 3) wherein through cinematic zelda bullshit link raises his sword in all of the timelines, and the split is healed, and you get to beat down ganon with the power of 3 links
i think it'd be kinda cool, but probably never happen

I would love for the ultrahand/fuse and building system to stay in the next Zelda game. It would be so cool with improved power from the next console.
Windwaker 2: make the boat
I’ve noticed when a lot of franchises do something extremely big, going back to a smaller scale for the next entry seems to work best. I’d say an older styled Zelda would work great, especially if it lands on an anniversary year.
Something to remember/consider breath of the wild/tears of the Kingdom was the full realization of what the original intention for the first legend of Zelda game was supposed to be. A full open world explore and go wherever you want Kind of game. But it was unfortunately hampered by the technology of the time.
So with that being considered, maybe it would help to remember some of the other concepts that were originally intended for the first legend of Zelda game.
One of those being time travel to three different eras
Past present and future.
The original idea was also supposed to originally take place in a future setting, and the Triforce was actually supposed to be computer chips.
So if they decide to try and finally realize those aspects of the original intention for legend of Zelda, he could be going in some interesting directions.
And they would be directions that aren’t that outside of the box, considering everything that you do in tears of the Kingdom.
Next will be a new Hyrule Warriors. I'll call it Age of the Imprisoning War, to explain what happend in this Lifetime, where Rauru was alive and to get to know more about the Ancient Sages, aka Revali, Mipha, Daruk and Urbosa. I call them like that, because they have the exact same Voice Actors like in Botw and AoC. After that, a new Mainline Title will come to the new Switch, to tell a final Story maybe. And my highest guess will be, that the Champions who survived in AoC, will have a Comeback because of Terrako in the new Mainline Game. Because i say, that it doesn't make any sense, from a Developers point of view, to make up such big Characters, to leave them in the Grave forever.
i don’t think they would do another hyrule warriors considering they were like 7 years apart anyway. i feel like they would just release a huge dlc

I think the DLC will be about the Ancient Sages giving Link trials, so that they can reveal their identities. A final dungeon created by Rauru and Sonia will be in the Temple of Time.
I’m guessing the next 3D Zelda will be a spiritual successor to both A Link to the Past and Skyward Sword by being a sequel to ToTK and a prequel as well. It could be about traveling back in time to the era of the Ancient Hero and discovering the Triforce.
I hope the next game has a little more of the Zelink relationship. They've been teasing us for too long.
I think I would like to see the return of Semi-Linear gameplay like Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword. I like BotW and TotK but would be interested to see Nintendos take on it after a rise in popularity due to games like God of War and The Last of Us
If they do make DLC I hope that they add more rooms to the dream house system

In breath of the wild there is hints to the sky islands if you talk to one npc you have to show her how ocktork balloon works and she says she wants to vist the islands in sky
