@@blackychan311 Yeah I've seen 15 making its rounds on social media for awhile, but the music was really hard to hear. Glad my edit made it easier to hear :)
I can't believe it's already been a full year since the game's release, time flies! Tears of the Kingdom is a simply amazing game and I'm glad to have experienced it!
Every single time I see these videos pop up, for YEARS, my reaction is always: no way there's 15 more things I don't know about BotW or TotK. Yet here we are. That last fact was insane
Man, it's crazy to think that Tears of the Kingdom has been our for a full year already. I still vividly remember everyone getting hyped for the _trailers_ of this game
So I discovered a glitch all on my own. If you're in a fiery area and you shield and drop a bomb, as if to try to parry the immediate explosion, you can pick the bomb back up but still get the explosion. I guess the bomb item and the explosion exist simultaneously for a frame or two.
I was playing the other day, and I discovered that there is a subtle pink smoke in certain areas of the depths that is wafted when you swing your weapon. Not sure if you guys have covered this one in the series so far, but I had never noticed it before.
The Zelda devs never fail to impress me with their musical Easter Eggs. The fact that "Ballad of the Goddess" is just "Zelda's Lullaby" backward has stuck with me all of these years, and even now it continues to inspire me, so much so that I even wrote my own set of pieces using the same trick. The thing with the Glyphs in TOTK playing the main theme when stitched together is awesome too. I'm not even a huge Zelda fan outside of BOTW/TOTK, but I am a music nerd, and these fun obscure little references that most people won't even know about are some of the coolest things in my eyes.
3:05 you can also throw a Puffshroom at hives to disperse the bees and drop the hives, and if the hive is on an Evermean, it'll wake it up and automatically disorient the Evermean, so you can just run in and grab the hive without having to use up durability killing the Evermean. Also saves bow durability
Is there another game company that puts that much work in musical nuance? To this day I have occasionally some music bits from SM and OOT from the N64 playing in my head. Standing ovations to the maestros!
Yeah the low gravity only occurs in certain areas, so if you go just slightly outside the boundaries they expect you to be in, you can escape the low gravity.
here's a fact a lot of you probably didn't know: go to these coordinates in the zonaite forge island (2314, -1755, 1475) and drop a heavy/large weapon onto the patch of bricks. if nothing happens, ultrahand the item in the air and drop it from higher up. (i used a marbled gohma leg fused to a royal broadsword for this). this works in other places on zonite forge island. please note that the coordinates dont have to be exactly the same. (feel free to use this in a video, gamespot!)
The Korok vs. bees will be extremely helpful! I also didn’t know you could fuse ruin rubble. I accidentally broke the boat on the boat transport, so I saw that one organically, lol
For fact one, it goes deeper than just FI's theme. It's the cord progression from the warp whistle from Mario Bros 3 and the opening of Ocarina of Time, just slowed down
It's interesting what they did with the geoglyph BGM because on the newly-announced soundtrack, they included each as a separate track. BotW had a similar thing with Kass's Ancient Songs being sections of the main theme, and they were combined together.
Wait what, is The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom 1 of the Best Game on the Nintendo Switch of All Time really a Year old? Time is really going faster than i tought wow! I got TOTK in last year's christmas 2023, but I still haven't started to playing it yet, because there's so much Nintendo Switch games what to play like Super Mario Bros Wonder, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, Penny's Big Breakaway and Princess Peach Showtime what I'll play now, but someday I'll play TOTK, maybe it's today because it turned into 1 Year old game, happy 1th Anniiversary Birthday The legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! 🐉🎈🎉🥳🥂🎂🎁
Another thing I found; I may be overthinking it, or maybe it's a musical easter egg. When you upgrade your battery, the forge station hammer sounds are pitched such that, if you swap just two of them, it sounds quite similar to the "major item get" theme from the Metroid series
In the A Picture for Woodland Stable side quest, when taking a picture of a goron soaking in a hot spring; you can take a picture of either Jengo or Bohrin at any time, and the game will still register that they are soaking in a hot spring, even if they’re not!
funfact, at lookout landing, before you emergency shelter on the triforce it has Wisdom and Courage but Power is cracked showing that it is not apart of Hyrule
I haven't seen any TH-camr yet mention how the Easter egg that Stable Trotters mirror the instruments in Majora's Mask. Flute (Link's ocarina), Horn (Deku), Strings (Zora), and Drum (Goron)
After 1 year My consensus Is it worth the 6 year wait? Yes Is it everything I ever wanted? Yes and No Is it worth 70$? Yes Does it deserve Goty? In a way Yes Is it DLC? NO!!!! Overall score: 9/10
Did you know that Boss Bokoblin Camps (Like the one with a Skyview Tower) that some have a Secret Entrance that you can Ascend through and be at the Camp. Also the Camp with the Skyview Tower has no secret entrance also the one near Popla Skyview Tower for a unknown reason.
actually with the thorns you can also get stuck in there and link won't take damage for a short period of time so you can jump get stuck then jump to dodge them hope that helps.
You are one of the few people who pronounces Fi's name properly. Too many people call her Fee which annoys me, and Hyrule Warriors tells us how her name is supposed to be announced. 2:57 I'm surprised Nintendo thought of this. I like how you knew about the portable launch tower.
How tf do people pick out once singular tiny quiet note from a short sequence in one part of the map that they aren't even paying attention to and go "oh wait, that was the 6th part of the main theme slowed down on a different instrument" It took me a while to realise Evermean is mean evergreens
I blinked and this year flew by! What was your favorite fact in this episode?
Seriously it's crazy they it's already been a year! I think my favorites are 3,5,12, 13, and 15. 15 is insane tbh
Hey this video isn't in the TOTK playlist yet, hope someone fixes that
you said smoke could steam but how do you get it to steam. and the last fact was my favourite
@@blackychan311 Yeah I've seen 15 making its rounds on social media for awhile, but the music was really hard to hear. Glad my edit made it easier to hear :)
@@MrZenobi While its raining, fire off a puffshroom, then shoot it with a ruby or big fire attack!

Yeah.
I feel the same way man, what an honor
That glyph musical secret is so neat!
This was the best stitched-together version I’ve heard for actually showing the music. Perfect presentation!
it blew my mind. Now that´s love to the project
Every single time I see these videos pop up, for YEARS, my reaction is always: no way there's 15 more things I don't know about BotW or TotK. Yet here we are. That last fact was insane
The effort the Zelda team puts into small details is already insane, but the sound design is just unbelievable.
Man that last one with the glyphs is crazy!!
The geoglyph music secret is SO AMAZING!
7:22 ok first how do you even discover stuff like this? Second that sequence left me speechless! Thank you so much for whoever edited that!
Man, it's crazy to think that Tears of the Kingdom has been our for a full year already. I still vividly remember everyone getting hyped for the _trailers_ of this game
It’s incredible how much detail there is in this game. As a musician I enjoy the musical little tidbits ✊🏻🙌🏻
This guy is so dedicated, pumping these out one after another, never misses a beat. Thanks rin!

Yay, a new glitch I’ll never be able to do

THE BOOMERANG CHASE, its the reason i always carry a giant colgera boomerang 😄
Surprise to see you here
How’s the Zonai run coming along?
so glad the shrine music was finally covered. Happy Birthday TOTK !!
Shrines mocking me with music 😂
That last fact is CRAZY!

This series is why I’m still subbed to this channel
Me too
#15 was seriously impressive and I bet it took a long time in editing to get it just right. Well done
Good to see this series continuing a year after the game's release, a truly great game, keep up the good videos gamespot.
Turns out I don't know anything about this game
Same even with 200+ hours
Thank you so much for taking the time to show the glyphs bit. That's _incredible!_
Is there another game company that puts that much work in musical nuance? To this day I have occasionally some music bits from SM and OOT from the N64 playing in my head. Standing ovations to the maestros!
A year since the game launch and I’m still playing it. Loving TotK very much!
This series wil never end (and it's a good thing)
Happy 1 year anniversary to this incredible game 🔥
I recently discovered that in the low gravity shrine ‘Jump’ if you go back instead of forward at the start, the low gravity goes away.
Yeah the low gravity only occurs in certain areas, so if you go just slightly outside the boundaries they expect you to be in, you can escape the low gravity.
Happy 1 year anniversary to Totk!
the geoglyph music bit is actually so cool
You gave me chills at 7:35 🥲

Dang it's been that long already. Always appreciate anything related to music. It's what sticks the longest.
The Legend of Zelda attention to the detail ❤
Happy 1 year anniversary 🎉
That rocket surfing trick is sick! I’m definitely going to use that from now on.
It's always a great day when one of these comes out!
When we needed you the most, you came through! Loved the video! :)
Zeldas musical secrets never cease to amaze me from game to game
Just completed it. Nintendo outdid themselves with this one with a clear vision
The Korok vs. bees will be extremely helpful! I also didn’t know you could fuse ruin rubble.

And here’s to another year of fun facts. Because let’s face it, there’s still another year’s worth of facts.

I had no idea you could use your shield as a barricade this way. Incredible!
Wow, #15 was awesome! God I love this game and all of its developers and designers.
That last obe gave me goosebumps. I was like, "What's going on!" with a smile on my face. 😁
Did you know that you can recall the wagon from a bokoblin riding a horse
That’s amazing. Didn’t know that.
The multiple steering columns thing is great, good job, I don't know that I
Dang Zelda’s tears were so powerful that not only did it recreate her memories but also pieces of the main theme song.
If you use tulins ability on an octorok is blows off its leaf
The Zelda music team is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Can't believe this game is ten years old now!
At 4:53 when the block blocked the attack, we all know the horse did everything
Last one is CRAZY
The rocket jump trick is sick
I'm a huge lover of shield surfing, wish I knew it sooner
the fact that people have made WHOLE PLANES in this game!
I know a secret. The Gloom tells a hidden tale that no one talks about
How about you talk about it, instead of being cryptic?
Did you know that Boss Bokoblin Camps (Like the one with a Skyview Tower) that some have a Secret Entrance that you can Ascend through and be at the Camp. Also the Camp with the Skyview Tower has no secret entrance also the one near Popla Skyview Tower for a unknown reason.
THE LAST ONE WAS AMAZING
7:20 need a full version of this so bad
Im so happy that Fi is still alive!
absolutely wild that it's been a whole year, and there's still items I didn't even know you could get! like those ruins blocks! where do I find that?👀
I’ve enjoyed the game and obviously will enjoy the replayability included in the creativity of building Zonia items.
integrating gpt4o with npc responses would be crazy
Love this series 😊
3:09 lol "pesky bees"
I was just watching more of these as this dropped
I love watching these
actually with the thorns you can also get stuck in there and link won't take damage for a short period of time so you can jump get stuck then jump to dodge them hope that helps.
I loved every second of this
When you die with an glow potion active it will turn red
i was wondering what the "did you know you can parry/flurry rush" was going to be this time but there weren't any :(
The reason why fused items still maintain their physics and occlusion property is because of how they made every object a rigidbody
Knew the geoglyph music one since Zeltik also covered it once iirc
You are one of the few people who pronounces Fi's name properly. Too many people call her Fee which annoys me, and Hyrule Warriors tells us how her name is supposed to be announced.
2:57 I'm surprised Nintendo thought of this.
I like how you knew about the portable launch tower.
At the top of the spirit temple (aka where you get minerus vow) has windows that appear to have more plates with constructs built in like minerus
amazing.
For the last memory, they should have made the light dragon appear at that spot since it is on the spirally place
Always love a new episode!
Thank you man!
wow, a actually stuff i didnt know about before (axcept for the thorn thing)
Nice of Nintendo to extend GameSpot's Legend of Zelda fact content by another 7 years when they released Tears of the Kingdom
Did you know that the start up theme for totk when you select new game/continue a bit of the dragons theme
How tf do people pick out once singular tiny quiet note from a short sequence in one part of the map that they aren't even paying attention to and go "oh wait, that was the 6th part of the main theme slowed down on a different instrument"
It took me a while to realise Evermean is mean evergreens
Lol that's funny because the instant I saw "Evermean" I was like "heheh evergreen wordplay"
I've done that with many other words though
I got hooked again recently after 150 hours last year, and now I’m 650 koroks in. I didn’t even realize a majority of these lolz
The geoglyph one is actually kinda smart
