Great video! Thank you for listing it all out! Your last one - Design resonated the most with me! I'm just starting so that was a great tip! Thank you!
I really like the more better new principle. I don't have time to be shooting from the hip; I want to let the data drive my processes. My question is, how many products do you start with? Also, how long do you wait to see if any take off before you try something different?
We actually teach this in our program. Not sure if you have considered help? But we’re coaching over 2000 students right now, many of them are over $5K+, $10K+ months. We have students doing $500K/y + revenues. Happy to share more if you’re interested!
I call BS and have 3 stores running for close to 8 months and the claim of $5k is absolutely not realistic or valid. Your pushing factually false claims to push your channel only. I have gotten over 30k views to my stores and maybe 50 sales. I have followed to a T the so called Etsy gurus and I'm pretty knowledgeable and capable.. these types of channels are pushing unrealistic expectations and needs to stop
$5,000 revenue per month isn’t unrealistic although I get the point you’re making - a lot of TH-camrs are running their own business of selling courses and getting subscribers. The video captions are so clickbaity. It gives the false impression that people can just easily create an Etsy shop and make thousands so fast. In reality it takes a lot of time, research, effort, learning and even a little bit of luck. On Etsy, I think realistic revenue depends on what you’re selling. I’ve been doing POD for 2 years and do at least 3-4 times that per month (in revenue) from January through August and much more during each month in Q4 so far. My first full year (2023) I did $300k revenue - most of which was during Q4. This year looks like it will be better. Hopefully. It’s definitely not easy or passive though. I spend a lot of time and effort on my shop. For me, it’s full time. I followed all the popular TH-cam Etsy gurus to get here and hopefully continue to grow. No course needed though. You can get all the info you need on TH-cam for free. There are a few really great ones that have helped me a lot. 😊

I've had an Etsy shop for a while and don't feel comfortable with graphic design. I like the idea of using patterns.
I'm sorry to hear that! How long have you had your shop?
