- This video was filmed in June 2024 on our most recent visit to Jamaica as I returned to my childhood home which is my grandparent's house for the first time since both of them have passed away. This video shows real country side living deep in the lush hills of Clarendon Jamaica as we take a stroll around the property filled with fruit trees baring, livestock (Pigs) and birds whistling in the air. For those who have not been to Jamaica in a while or for those who have never been, this is a video they can travel through vicariously and see what real country living in Jamaica looks like. Don't forget to like, comment, share, subscribe and click the bell to be notified when new videos are uploaded to SOUFLOTV.

Have you a cousin Calvin
That is why we have to protect our little piece of paradise from those unscrupulous ones in government who forget where we are coming from there is no place like Jamaica. Let's protect and continue to hilight to beaut of Jamaica.
I envy.
SOU FLO IS SUCH A NICE PLACE YOU LIVED AS A YOUTH?????? WOW !!! Can you imagine the church and community vibes back in those long time days when you was a boy
Our community was a real family. Even today , but more so back then. Who didn't have was helped by who had and everybody helped to raise each other's children and looked out for the safety of the community.
I love the content it's amazing nuff respect and manas stay bless 🙌 🙏 🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇸
@@souflotv I THINK UP THERE IN YOUR PART OF CLARENSON TIMES LIKE 1993 right up to 1998 must have been a great place to be living and up there still looks rural and charming, I heard you called to the lady who was looking at your face good to recognise you because you turn big man pon har !!! I remembered when I left my part of Clarendon in 1998, Sandy Bay it was such a great place and I never knew sandy Bay would change, I hear it not like that again since the criminals and people from the Kingston garrisson find my part of Sandy Bay, and destroyed our community.Every time soldier and police even curfewing the place!!!
You grew up in a rich environment brethren..share balance with nature and God.count your blessings 🙌
I have to say these are my absolute #1 favourite videos to watch. thank you for sharing such an amazing upbringing that cannot be matched or traded for another (IMO). Blessings to you and you family
You are so welcome!
MEMORIES SOLFLOTV, OF HOW LIFE WAS SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL 😍 IN THE COUNTRY SETTING ❤️. MAY YOUR GRANDPARENTS R.I.P. ETERNAL PEACE ✌️ 🙏 ✨️ ...
I grew up in a similar community in Westmoreland. I have not been back since my Grandmother died, 7 years ago. That place is still a paradise. I miss it so much! I am so happy that I used to bring my little children to visit in the early 2000. I love Jamaica bad, especially the country!
Real life real story thanks for sharing your lovely memories with us something to cherish
Fruitful property
Taking me right back to my childhood home in st ann. Best a me days, yep fed the pigs and chicken, run miles to school, fetch water a Stan pipe. Made me the woman I am today, bless
🇯🇲🇯🇲💯💯👍
Beautiful green vegetation simple life! How people fe hungry in Jamaica I never understand.
It's the mindset of the people of today .
I grew up in Waterhouse, then moved to Portmore as an adult. I never had a fruit tree where I've lived.....ever! People like me can and will be hungry.
Bring back memories some sweet food cook in those kitchen if you know u know lol
This is a typical rural setting in the Caribbean, I am not from Jamaica but can identify with everything in the video. Such peace and tranquility. We are blessed with food in abundance and a loving close knit community. In addition we have cocoa and nutmeg on the land. A healthy and happy lifestyle. An exquisite place to grow up. It is good for your beautiful children to experience that aspect of our unique culture. Our own tropical paradise. We give thanks always🙏🏾
Living on that property you will never be hungry...
Blessing. Blessing. Beautiful and fruitful Property. This video brings back so many memories. I remember our out door kitchen with the krenkren with meat over the wood fire 🔥. Sitting at the door way watching the yellow heart breadfruit roasting. Then eating the warm slices with salt or chiffon butter &Gold seal butter running down my Fingers.
Those were the good old days when most of our foods came from the Property except for flour and Rice.
I can really relate to you childhood Souflo it's a Blessing.
Thanks for sharing. Blessing to you and your family.
Keep up the good work.

🇯🇲SoulFlo, & ShakeraSphere ♥️
I can relate to the "hills." I also spent part of my childhood in Clarendon in Collington Hill. As a child, for us back then, shoes weren't worn, only when going to town, and town was as far as Trout Hall.😎
And, wen yuh wear shoes, yuh only put yuh shoes on afta yuh guh down di hill, den cross over di river, den up di hill over di train tracks, and den down di next hill - only den yuh put on yuh shoes as yuh wate fi di bus or robot.
Last time I went home, road dun cut, and yuh tek a taxi to your gate.😁🇯🇲
Same so… exact so…
🙏❤ You are you, my dear 😂 Collington, was our All age school . 😂😂
Beautiful, exactly where is this?
Yes soul flo I use to catch the pinee wallee put them in bottle
Thanks for sharing your childhood memories. Love how you have not forgotten your roots. Jamaican furniture is solid and the craftsmanship is excellent. They can last for generations. You should not go hungry here unless you are lazy and do not want to help yourself. Love these kind of vlogs. The children seemed to have enjoyed the tour.
What a beautiful piece of paradise you grow up in nothing short of the garden of eden all the food we need to stay healthy and strong not to mention the fresh air.❤

MayPen Primary frightened the life out of me. I wasn’t there for long. Thanks be to God.😂😂. I still wonder what happened to the boy who would sit on top of that high wall creating mayhem. Surname Brown. I can 😂 now….

Beautiful property with lovely views. Love all the fruits and food trees . Thanks for sharing 😊.
Looking at your home videos, brings back such memories for me, of the island I grew up on. Grenada. I want to go back, I haven't been back much. No family there now, just a few friends. I am really enjoying this video.
I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing. Your childhood home has a lot of potential for great income and legacy for your children. Employ someone to manage the property if no one is living there.Don't leave it unoccupied.
Back to nature, so beautiful. must be surreal, you are exploring your childhood memories with your family, progression of life.Amazing that nobody takes the fruits and produce.
