  • 4 friends headed to Scotland for salmon fishing adventure. None of us been fishing for salmon before so it was totally new experience.
We had about 5 hours drive with astonishing views to the place where we spent a night. We were amazed with our accommodation with coffee and another bits for breakfast. After we left our belongings, we been driving around to enjoy sceneries and visited one local waterfall - it was beautiful!
Early in the morning we had another 40 minutes drive surrounded by mind blowing beauty of Scotland , to the place where we met our fishing guide, on the bank of the river Tay.
We had introduction of our fishing gear and fishing methods. The guide was super friendly and a funny guy. Definitely made our day better than we expected.
We been divided in 2 groups to fish different stretches of the river Tay. After half a day we swapped.
Not all of us caught the salmon but we all witnessed of salmon being brought on the bank.
Our hopes to catch at least one was exceeded. Absolutely beautiful nature, awesome fishing adventure, super nice fishing guide - thank You for incredible day! Enjoyed every bit of Your adventure!!!
    Scotland beauty is mind blowing!!!

Another epic fishing adventure in an area of outstanding beauty. Salmon, the king of the river,
and showing you the reason they are so called 👌 keep the rod tip high so it can give you the
maximum shock absorber. Line recovery in an action referred to as pumping, line taken back
as you lower the tip, stop reeling in, raise rod tip, and so on. Often used when landing large
Carp at distance. This upload has to be one of your best, and I notice that your subscribers
are increasing, and justifiably I feel privileged to have been with you on ALL of your adventures,
and will continue to do so my friend. Thank you for sharing, and taking me along. Phil.

      Hi Phil 👋
Thanks for being together and always from very beginning 💪
It was my favourite fishing adventure so far. Hope in a future I will have some even better 😁 Scotland have outstanding beauty indeed, would like to be able to spend way much more time over there 😀 definitely coming back one day. With salmon - king of the river - being still in my bucket list, I have to come back 😁 I seen this pumping method before but so far I didn't come across the fish witch would require this method. But salmon is one of them without doubt.
I am very happy that You find my adventures interesting and especially this one 😁💪👍
This channel is growing - slowly but growing, I guess I'm doing something right 😅 And Phil - I feel privileged to have friends like You, my pleasure to take You along. Gedis

Man And Rod with many comments and messages, I feel I have known you all my life, not
forgetting that when I first subscribed, last year, I was in a very sorry state with serious
health issues, you don't realise how much pleasure and positively you have provided in
my recovery from major surgery and even worse, chemotherapy. I shall always be eternally
thankful to you and your fishing adventures. Your channel has gained many more subs. and
as mentioned previously, justifiably so, long may it continue.👌🎣✅

I also hope You will stay with me on my future adventures to come 👌🎣

Fishing day we booked through Fishpal. River Tay and it's in Upper Kinnaird beat.
We stayed 40min with car away from fishing location but it was much cheaper. We booked through Airbnb. Just type Cottage Style Dwelling In Quiet, Scenic Location. It is hosted by Dina. You should find.

Great video of River Tay salmon. Pity it wasn't on the fly. I hope you invest in a bigger longer landing net (or hire one) next time you fish for Salmon. I think your method of fishing by spinning, plus the poor landing and handling technique displayed towards these increasingly rare fish let's you down which is a pity. Best wishes.

Thanks 🤝 i don't do fly fishing. Yet 😅 living and learning, somewhere need to start. That was firs our salmon fishing ever. Very far for me, hard to find time.
Good angling and handling coming with experience which in salmon fishing i have very little. But I'll do my best to fix it 🤝🎣

Place where we spent a night i booked few days before trip by using booking.com app. We booked about 40 min drive from fishing spot and saved about 60%. Close to fishing spot was very expensive or already booked
