Absolutely. I was never a Path main, played him here and there, died to lots of Paths because of the "frequent grapple" but seeing that 30 sec cooldown while Loba gets SECOND tac is just brutal. As if Loba and now the flying!? lifelines, stimming Octanes were not hard enough to catch. But yeah, screw Path mains i guess.
@@jacobscheid629 To be fair, I’ve played all the different variations of Path. (100k kills). There was a season where they tried this and it literally gutted Path. Even with that specific perk to reset, his mobility is cooked.

I'm so sick of the rift relic's. It removes the need for basic looting, and if you're not using relic's, you're at an immediate disadvantage. If it was a few weeks it would have been a fun change, now I'm just tilted by getting destroyed in 0.5 seconds by a mastiff or alternator. There's no counter play, and it's so frustrating.

Lmao can we be real. Loba buffs will be OP, but Alter will remain garbage. No one uses her ult. Her tactical isn't useful on half the maps. Her pickrate is the lowest in the game. Alter isn't anywhere near Wraith
They need to really have a separate playlist for the relic weapons just like you. I haven’t been playing anything but rank and I got the diamond the first time because pubs has just been unplayable for me getting one tapped by the mastiff at least three times a day is just not fun.
Pubs is unplayable right now. You can’t beat relic mastiff or disruptor alternator if you don’t have one yourself. It’s boring. They gotta get rid of relic pubs ASAP
Haven't played since September and i feel great to be honest. Watching a stream here and there fills "the void". Actually playing the game always turns into braindamaging chore. I may run Kovaaks for 10-15min every 2 weeks but yeah, not "gaming religiously" or at all is very refreshing.

As a 9 to 5 worker/casual pubs enjoyer, I like the relics. I think they add something op to spice up every match. Maybe putting them in a revival mode would appease both crowds (?)
more me being removed is just a HUGE nerf to mirrage, spotting the real one in the ult is already easy and mirrage's ability does nothing to support him. only scans, this is sad for mirage, i hope they think about it more, scanning the bamboozle is not useful at all. RIP more me..
A lot of people online are talking about legend buffs. However, the new accelerated hop up sounds extremely broken. Do you literally get 30% per knock? Imagine a gibby using his ult, knocking a few more players, and having his ult back extremely fast.
I personally came back for the relics. I think its a neat addition to the game that keeps it interesting. There isnt as much if a need to go to vaults or risk hot drops as much when you can find good weapons and perks throughout the game
Mirage Cloak Passive is sick because if you need to escape from a team and hopefully you're up a hill, you can slide down while healing and you're cloked in the process with good speed! 🔥
As for the Loba tactical buff with 2 charges, it's 100% going to take some getting used to. I'm so used to the perk that gives her increases throw distance, so i'm trying to readjust to how limited my range is with a single tac
As someone who hasn’t played ranked a lot lately and plays mostly pubs I have to say the rift relics were a fun time at first but got increasing annoying as time goes on and more is added. Nothing is more frustrating then getting 1 shot by a relic mastiff while you have red evo and are at full health. This is just an example of how overtuned some relic guns are.
Pathfinder grapple cooldown is egregious. If it was a 25 second cooldown, it'd be more palatable, it all depends on when the cooldown starts. If it starts immediately that's great, but if it's after your grapple momentum ends, that's dreadful, and I'll never use it to just get around the map out of combat, cause I will need if I'm suddenly in a fight.
@@IIStone I’d argue it was already the most fair ability in the game, because the cooldown was contingent on the outcome. So they are now treading on new territory- they are intentionally making fair abilities, unfair. This is extra bad because said “fair” ability was actually fun and loved by the community. So let’s see. apex numbers are spiraling downward. Does this decision hurt or help those numbers? We both know the answer.
i don't mind rift relics mostly because im good at the game and know how to abuse them like the relic mastiff but, they should just make it a different game mode instead of replacing pubs.
I swear if they gave us the changes to all the legends at the exact same time and gave us a new gun , legend , map change and a accurate ranking system. We might of had a decent season
So they removed per optic settings in the ALC controls. You can no longer use 4-3 linear with a 1.2x aim on a 3x sight. They tried sneaking in a nerf to controller players like people wouldn't notice. They have issues. All this does is reset muscle memory and gives mnk players more of an advantage for a month. It doesn't nerf anything after a month and just makes people quit..
Hey Dazs! So I figured out what they meant by tap strafe buffer. For all of our movement players here, If you player on FPS higher than 120hz than There's a huge buffer added to Tapstrafing on Higher frame rates. For example If you want to Superglide and Redirect, That is no longer possible or really hard to do on any FPS higher than 120hz. Almost all of the movement tech I tested myself on 165hz (My native framerate) And then capped at 120hz. (Via RTSS) So Ras Strafes, Pito Strafes, Normal tap strafes, Etc etc Are almost unusable on my refresh rate. So if you want to keep doing some form of movement then the fix I found Is to cap your fps to 120hz I haven't tested any other framerates but if you want me to try them, Reply to this comment. In my opinion this is very unfair to the people who put in hours to learn movement. UPDATE: So this is a very fast update but i figured something out. So on the DX12 Version of the game tapstrafing and movement seems to be nerfed to the ground. I Swapped over to the original version of the game and Everything seems to work fine, This was tested on my Native Framerate (165hz). This is very strange considering the game engine is the same right? Maybe the movement patches were only sent to the DX12 version? I'm not too sure. Everything ranging from lurches, Redirects, Etc seems to work fine. I'll update this post as I play.
I don't mind the boost kits but the weapons are so unbalanced the epg should be a care package weapon at the rarity of pre nerf kraber because a direct hit is 150 and even splash damage hits like a truck

Idk if you play ranked play but a 1v1 with mirage who can heal whole invisible automatically means you’ll win especially in ranked healing while unseen goes extremely well gives you the ability you reset in fights safely and even sneak up to add to that he’s now a a fully viable rez character with the speed boost during rez
Yea the grapple cooldown down being 30 seconds no matter what grapple you get is way over kill bc the grapple wasn’t even overpowered they should make it like 20 seconds or keep it variable time depending on the grapple you get
i think griefing protection means that it will be harder for enemies to destroy her black market? cuz i know people do that shit all the time just to shoot at something when they can’t hit you they just hit your ult while you’re using it and it’s just annoying and doesn’t make any sense for it to be so easily destroyed. hopefully that is it!
Man, nerfing Pathy is crazy. He was a strong legend but never really felt "broken". Sure, it can be annoying not being able to easily escape him but so are : flying lifelines, lobas, octanes, vantages and so on + Evac towers if they were to chase you. And seeing more and more RIDICULOUS "support" buffs is just wild and ironic. So glad i quit this game seasons ago. Also, not having Storm Point and Broken Moon permanently for Ranked is criminal while keeping the mediocre nostalgia driven map Worlds Edge in rotation pretty much every season. Loba changes are actually ridiculous. I hope to tune in for tomorrows stream instead of watching the VOD but man, you'll have hard time picking her up. I'd imagine many would want to play her. It'd be a battle ground of who selects first.
They need to be their own game modes instead of a pubs take over. They need to have the regular BR for people to fall back on. Its like they are so against having more modes released at one time and i dont get it lol. I have been strictly ranked because of it. Its not because i complete hate it, the few games of it i played, i won i just want to fall back to regular sometimes without ranked.
Im disappointed in the state of the game. I stopped playing Apex over the holidays, and I don't think this patch is going to bring me back even though im a mirage main. Game feels like they just keep buffing legends rather than balancing the legends. And creating an environment where skills pay off with insane plays and clips, but the changes introduced recently only created so many clips where players where pissed off at ea with the state of imbalance. I for one would love to see insane alter , maggie, ash plays. Core team seems to have left respawn or is being denied voice to introduce good changes. I have so many recommendations for improving the user experience, but I don't think ea listens to the community these days. Support perks in my opinion should have been split to all classess, for example support class gets double healing effect, attack class gets double shield effect so that they can push. Fast heal should have been given to skirmisher. Since recon and control legends already had good passives, they can be left unattended for sometime.
Conduit once again gets ignored. They introduced her, nerfed her, and now she sits in the corner. They haven't touched her perks, which are less than mid.
Path nerf right before Pro League Champs in JAPAN, a nation and region with some of the most mechanically skilled MnK movement demons... it is so sad to think about how many potentially awe inspiring moments we just missed out on because of this decision by the dev team. Also, I am so sick of Rift Relic. I was over it after the 2nd week. I have only played ranked, mixtape, and winter express since then.
The way Respawn ‘balances’ things you’d think they just spin a bottle and decide on a new meta. The constant doubling down too really turns me off and has turned me off from apex. Makes me feel that they don’t have any idea on what a balanced apex might look like

I haven't played apex in over a year but I was a Loba main since she came out. This change will make me download the game again, but for how long? Who knows lol maybe a day or a week. Apex is a miserable experience but maybe all these changes will make it feel different.

Rift relics ruin pubs, the only way I’d be okay with something like this feature is if they have normal pubs in permanently for the entire duration. They should never bar players from playing the original, casual mode of the game. I’ve also only been playing ranked, I only play pubs to do challenges and get packs
I aint played pubs properly since s16, solely play ranked. But I started a couple pub games today cause my internet is moving a bit crazy, I kill a Lifeline and they Wraith phase away from me. Yeahhhh thats enough pubs for me lol.

I’m kind of over relics. Too many guns that are overturned, and annoying to play against. The new missile launcher /hop ups are fun and I like, but there’s so many unbalanced guns like the prowler and red mastiff.

as a 25 million dmg 10 szn loba main who needs to touch grass.... they excessively buffed her. everything makes sense except for vault stealing. volume being lowered is busted. teleportation gun draw is the number one cause of death of noobies trynna teleport onto fights and its good its more viable to insert yourself. back to the audio, it better not be damn near dead silent. low tossing bracelets to hide the bracelet path with little to no audio is going to be a busted flanking method. its busted. its not like there are many characters who can't catch her. to an extent octane, pathfinder, revenant. loba is overall the best for escaping if you find yourself having to rat on do banner runs. she's never going to be a strong end game character and certain buffs respawn does is just excessive with no good reason. im saying this cuz its not fair for other players having to deal with a legend who not only they CANNOT catch, but also STRUGGLE to detect. yes thats how burglars work, but its not fair they can't hear her flanking or where she's going. in addition, no-one asked buffs for mirage either. a dude that gets ultra every 30 seconds does not need a buff.

They never removed aim assist from the game for both pc and console. but on pc its has been nerf to the ground recently. but its still the same on console since its launch on console. that why i only play apex on console..
@ nah man they nerfed it on console as well you can look it up . The reason I was effected by it is bc I play alc linear which already made it a bit harder for aim assist but if you play the regular setting you can’t tell much but I’m not comfortable playing regular setting so I’m screwed

If im not mistaken respawn did announce that they are nerfing aim assist on console.. but its only on performance mode (120fps) to 0.4 same like pc does.. so 60fps mode aim assist is still remain the same 0.6 till this day..
These mirage buffs are shit there just buffing things that are horrible to begin with. For instance the revive he has is bad because of the audio it has and how easy it is to see him adding a speed boost dose nothing because if you do it aggressive you will get shot and die so you only relay use it if your safe and away from fighting two that mirage perk scan should be default three the invisibility when healing is cool but you can only use it once? In 5 secs so basically use a phoenix kit anf hope people dont hear you they definitely will. So thes buffs are dog and dont help him in any way the upgrade alowimg him to do everything is cool but its an upgrade so it will take time to get
gaining access to literally every role bin or console is an insane perk, its lvl 2 it wont get time to get, u get it on the first evo point + some other ally doing their thing, or just some dmg / pve. mirage will be able to open any support bin, any assault bin, scan for enemies, look for next zone, check whats in care packages.... this is absolutely insane. then he practically gets a new passive, being invis when healing, and he can do so every 5 secons after hes uncloaked again. thats great for him. and they took away the mega short ult CD which was honestly just annoying to play against. the speed boost is just extra oomph for fun, it doesnt need to be anything crazy but it can be nice to be able to dip around the corner faster after a revive. great buffs overall, to what realistically was a troll pick for ranked.
point is, as mirage mains we’re tired of him being a “troll pick”, none of these buffs make him viable, at least with the More Me perk he was fun, and now they took that away smh.

The healing and going invisible is good on paper but reality they can hear you doing it and who is healing infront of the fucking enemy to begin with your going to do it with your team's next to you so the invisible part of it really doesn't make sense what they should of done is have it so he is invincible for 3 seconds after he uses one like his ult that will allow for some safety and make a difference but how it is now it makes no difference. And my last problem why the fuck can't they just add the scan to it by default and have the perk be something like increase the scan time and allows ur team to see it so he has some extra utility

this game mode was the final straw for me. Dying to an overpowered alternator and a grenade launcher gets old very quickly.
These buffs to Loba and Alter are basically power creeping wraith.

Idk if you play ranked play but a 1v1 with mirage who can heal whole invisible automatically means you’ll win especially in ranked healing while unseen goes extremely well gives you the ability you reset in fights safely and even sneak up to add to that he’s now a a fully viable rez character with the speed boost during rez

Yea the grapple cooldown down being 30 seconds no matter what grapple you get is way over kill bc the grapple wasn’t even overpowered they should make it like 20 seconds or keep it variable time depending on the grapple you get
i think griefing protection means that it will be harder for enemies to destroy her black market? cuz i know people do that shit all the time just to shoot at something when they can’t hit you they just hit your ult while you’re using it and it’s just annoying and doesn’t make any sense for it to be so easily destroyed. hopefully that is it!
Man, nerfing Pathy is crazy. He was a strong legend but never really felt "broken". Sure, it can be annoying not being able to easily escape him but so are : flying lifelines, lobas, octanes, vantages and so on + Evac towers if they were to chase you. And seeing more and more RIDICULOUS "support" buffs is just wild and ironic. So glad i quit this game seasons ago. Also, not having Storm Point and Broken Moon permanently for Ranked is criminal while keeping the mediocre nostalgia driven map Worlds Edge in rotation pretty much every season.
Loba changes are actually ridiculous. I hope to tune in for tomorrows stream instead of watching the VOD but man, you'll have hard time picking her up. I'd imagine many would want to play her. It'd be a battle ground of who selects first.

The Pathy nerfs are criminal
They need to be their own game modes instead of a pubs take over. They need to have the regular BR for people to fall back on. Its like they are so against having more modes released at one time and i dont get it lol. I have been strictly ranked because of it. Its not because i complete hate it, the few games of it i played, i won i just want to fall back to regular sometimes without ranked.
They need to fix Crypto. He was so good last season looks like I’m playing Mirage and Loba now.

Im disappointed in the state of the game. I stopped playing Apex over the holidays, and I don't think this patch is going to bring me back even though im a mirage main.
Game feels like they just keep buffing legends rather than balancing the legends. And creating an environment where skills pay off with insane plays and clips, but the changes introduced recently only created so many clips where players where pissed off at ea with the state of imbalance. I for one would love to see insane alter , maggie, ash plays.
Core team seems to have left respawn or is being denied voice to introduce good changes.
I have so many recommendations for improving the user experience, but I don't think ea listens to the community these days.
Support perks in my opinion should have been split to all classess, for example support class gets double healing effect, attack class gets double shield effect so that they can push. Fast heal should have been given to skirmisher. Since recon and control legends already had good passives, they can be left unattended for sometime.

I haven't played apex in over a year but I was a Loba main since she came out. This change will make me download the game again, but for how long? Who knows lol maybe a day or a week. Apex is a miserable experience but maybe all these changes will make it feel different.

Rift relics ruin pubs, the only way I’d be okay with something like this feature is if they have normal pubs in permanently for the entire duration. They should never bar players from playing the original, casual mode of the game. I’ve also only been playing ranked, I only play pubs to do challenges and get packs
I aint played pubs properly since s16, solely play ranked. But I started a couple pub games today cause my internet is moving a bit crazy, I kill a Lifeline and they Wraith phase away from me. Yeahhhh thats enough pubs for me lol.

I’m kind of over relics. Too many guns that are overturned, and annoying to play against. The new missile launcher /hop ups are fun and I like, but there’s so many unbalanced guns like the prowler and red mastiff.

as a 25 million dmg 10 szn loba main who needs to touch grass.... they excessively buffed her. everything makes sense except for vault stealing. volume being lowered is busted. teleportation gun draw is the number one cause of death of noobies trynna teleport onto fights and its good its more viable to insert yourself. back to the audio, it better not be damn near dead silent. low tossing bracelets to hide the bracelet path with little to no audio is going to be a busted flanking method. its busted. its not like there are many characters who can't catch her. to an extent octane, pathfinder, revenant. loba is overall the best for escaping if you find yourself having to rat on do banner runs. she's never going to be a strong end game character and certain buffs respawn does is just excessive with no good reason. im saying this cuz its not fair for other players having to deal with a legend who not only they CANNOT catch, but also STRUGGLE to detect. yes thats how burglars work, but its not fair they can't hear her flanking or where she's going. in addition, no-one asked buffs for mirage either. a dude that gets ultra every 30 seconds does not need a buff.

They never removed aim assist from the game for both pc and console. but on pc its has been nerf to the ground recently. but its still the same on console since its launch on console. that why i only play apex on console..
@ nah man they nerfed it on console as well you can look it up . The reason I was effected by it is bc I play alc linear which already made it a bit harder for aim assist but if you play the regular setting you can’t tell much but I’m not comfortable playing regular setting so I’m screwed
@@gr8vibes seriously, i never notice my aim assist was getting weak since i started playing this game on seasons 8. If im not mistaken respawn did announce that they are nerfing aim assist on console.. but its only on performance mode (120fps) to 0.4 same like pc does.. so 60fps mode aim assist is still remain the same 0.6 till this day..
These mirage buffs are shit there just buffing things that are horrible to begin with. For instance the revive he has is bad because of the audio it has and how easy it is to see him adding a speed boost dose nothing because if you do it aggressive you will get shot and die so you only relay use it if your safe and away from fighting two that mirage perk scan should be default three the invisibility when healing is cool but you can only use it once? In 5 secs so basically use a phoenix kit anf hope people dont hear you they definitely will. So thes buffs are dog and dont help him in any way the upgrade alowimg him to do everything is cool but its an upgrade so it will take time to get
gaining access to literally every role bin or console is an insane perk, its lvl 2 it wont get time to get, u get it on the first evo point + some other ally doing their thing, or just some dmg / pve. mirage will be able to open any support bin, any assault bin, scan for enemies, look for next zone, check whats in care packages.... this is absolutely insane.
then he practically gets a new passive, being invis when healing, and he can do so every 5 secons after hes uncloaked again. thats great for him. and they took away the mega short ult CD which was honestly just annoying to play against.
the speed boost is just extra oomph for fun, it doesnt need to be anything crazy but it can be nice to be able to dip around the corner faster after a revive.
great buffs overall, to what realistically was a troll pick for ranked.
point is, as mirage mains we’re tired of him being a “troll pick”, none of these buffs make him viable, at least with the More Me perk he was fun, and now they took that away smh.
@@Cryoptic_true the do everything perk is strong no one is saying its not but after a ring 3 it loses value by alot at least with the 30s ult you can make plays and cause alot of chaos and it actually mattered and has won me so many games. The healing and going invisible is good on paper but reality they can hear you doing it and who is healing infront of the fucking enemy to begin with your going to do it with your team's next to you so the invisible part of it really doesn't make sense what they should of done is have it so he is invincible for 3 seconds after he uses one like his ult that will allow for some safety and make a difference but how it is now it makes no difference. And my last problem why the fuck can't they just add the scan to it by default and have the perk be something like increase the scan time and allows ur team to see it so he has some extra utility

None of this stuff is relevant whatsoever. None of the stuff is going to bring the game back to where it was. None of the stuff is going to bring the player face back. They bumped a couple of not relevant characters and they made a couple of changes to the guns whoopty-doo there's literally nothing here.
