    I just finished a 72h sardine "fast" followed by a normal keto breakfast and the results were somewhat "explosive". This topic is spot on. WOW.

    I have stumbled upon your channel Dr Boz, and am very interested to know where to get started….. I am ‘healthy’ but had a heart attack a month ago….and have been prescribed tons of ‘ harmful’ meds by my cardiologist. What should I do, read, watch to get started fixing my artery problem? Help, I don’t want to take these meds for the rest of my life!

      Stop eating the stuff you know is bad first. Stop buying that stuff. Then move off bread, potatoes and switch from rice to cauliflower rice. Use only real butter or ghee, no margarine. Do your best to eliminate sugar and learn the names. There are a lot of names for sugar. You will need to read labels, but you will learn which foods are safe for you - they mostly do not have a label! You can do this.

    It would be interesting to see what happens to gut microbiome in a carb adapted person after they do a 4 day bone broth fast . I wonder if the bad bacteria and fungus die ?

      I drink 16 to 24 ounces of quality bone broth almost everyday. I make my own broth, so I know there is no sugar or dodgy garbage in it.. Read the lables if you buy it at the store. My bone broth is super rich with collegan.. it always gels up super thick ...store bought stuff rarely will gel up if in the fridge.

    Probiotics are ok when you eat crap but if you eat clean and many fermented foods than theres no need for probiotics. Ive recently found out that im gluten intolerant and my stomach is so much happier without gluten and also taking thyroid meds with gluten that made me so sick for many years and i had bad diarrhea and lots of anxiety and palpitations and many trips to the bathroom and i thought i had IBS

    I just feel so tired of all this new information. I just don’t know what works at this point. I have always struggled with weight ever since I was a kid. No matter what I did, I just never got to my ideal weight. I was never morbidly obese, but just always overweight. I have been fasting and eating keto and of course I feel amazing and I did shed a few pounds, but still it’s never the same progress as some other people say. I’m going to continue because I feel great, but I’m just so discouraged at this point and have accepted the fact that maybe this is genetic? My dad is the same way. He lost a ton of weight on keto but his body put a pause and won’t lose weight any further. I don’t know what to do. Any advice is appreciated.

    • @mhomesch
      @mhomesch 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hitting a plateau is normal. Dr Boz ketoContinuum guidelines walk you through how to break through a plateau. Different forms of fasting are the main way. I did a 5 day autophagy fast using Prolon. I later did 4.5 day autophagy fast using salted water, broth, mct oil, olives, and endogenous ketones.

      Are you measuring your glucose and ketons?. Are they giving you an acceptable DBR ratio?. Have you try exogenous ketones? Do you fast? When we get stuck, have you tried dr. Boz sardine fast for 3 days?
      I am asking a lot of questions, I know, but this is what I ask my self to make sure I am doing it the best I can.

    Gred BaxtromChef Greg Baxtrom is running a limited-time menu at Olmsted featuring items made with Solein.A protein produced with air and electricity is making its U.S. debut at Olmsted Restaurant in Brooklyn, New York.
    Chef-owner Greg Baxtrom is incorporating protein-rich Solein, a powdery ingredient developed by Finnish company Solar Foods, into a four-course menu offered at Olmsted through the end of November. Hi, the inside of the colon, where the bacteria are is a low oxygen environment. The bacteria that live there are called anaerobic. Gases in flatulence are mainly CO2, methane, nitrogen, hydrogen and O2. So yes there will be some oxygen but it would be disproportionately small. Does that make sense?

    Dr Boz did you know that there is an antihistamine that keeps my A1C at 4.2. I previously had a A1C of 5.7 I went on this medication and my A1C dropped immediately. I found it amazing. It’s hard to get, is an old medication, but can be compounded or ordered from other countries. I found a paper written on it and it was proven to do this. It would change the whole Diabetic scene and the government and big pharma would probably go broke. No wonder they quit using it in the United States.
