This story continues on a 124 page screenplay sitting on my desk... Catch it in cinemas one day lol. Also, this is on IMDb and Letterboxd so go give it a rating! (An honest one)
I really like the irony of the "hero" being an insane overly cruel vigilante and the "villains" being two pretty likeable guy who are morally gray but make a massive mistake. Also holy shit watching this a second time all of the foreshadowing is top notch
Honestly that lady should have known better, who comes to YOUR house UNANNOUNCED and offers free plumbing? Do ya know how much some of those guys can make? Anyone like that is almost DEFINITELY a vampire. 😂
Love the foreshadowing of one of the "Plumbers" watching a violent movie in the first scene of his introduction. Also his dreams of becoming a stunt actor. Considering his job, i'd say he's kinda overqualified! Is the escaped prisoner a friend/family of the "Wrong Target"?, since his chapter is called "The Hero", i assume he's either a sort of light gray kind of protagonist, while the two boys in white are less than clean, considering they massacred a house without even confirming if it's the right target. Should have disguised as a more approachable job i suppose. Also, i cant believe im saying this, but i'd rather have the full movie be in lego, its a lot more charming than live action
I'm at a loss of words, i first i thought this was a blender animation due to the camera angles, but i notices details like finger smudges and other details, if this is blender that is insane. Even if this is stop motion holy hell this is top notch quality. really impressive stuff i cant wait for more.
Man. my jaw is ON THE GOD DAMN FLOOR!!!!!!! This is the best lego shortfilm I have ever seen. PERIOD. I don't know how else I can tell you how good it is than to sum up everything that's good about it. Lighting, Shot composition, voice acting, quality, GREAT fight choerography, SOUND DESIGN, THE CLAY BLOOD!! SUCH A GREAT STORY TOO!!!! I REALLY love your use of "show don't tell" in this video. Like the empty handcuffs bahind the car, and the way you revealed that they were just one house off from the right one. It was even forshadowed in the letter! such an AMAZING plot twist. It didn't feel cheesy or cheap either, it was truly unexpected With all these characters and getting a glimse of their lives, it really gives the story a lot of weight to it. And I ADORE your writing skills. Super well done bro, I hope to see more one day!!
This is soooo good!! If you ever make it into a full live action movie, I'll go see it no matter the financial cost! I'm adding this too my best stop motion playlist! Oh, and by the way, I'm never letting another plumber come into my house...
Id love to see a continuation of the last story, where its years later and the daughter finds out her parents were killed because someone forgot to read the house number
This video is one of the most well written and animated videos i have seen on TH-cam. Thank YOU and the CREW for making this beautiful film that ill enjoy and learn from.
Jesus Christ. I love to see films like these still being made. 50K views for The Lego Movie on a budget? that's insane to me. Honestly the best work I've seen made by just one guy.
As a proof of concept it's just fantastic. But not only that it's just great as an animated short film it self. Good job. Hope you the best with the project!
HOLY MOTHER OF 2x4s THIS IS INSANE! The anamorphic widescreen format. The faces. The DoF. The screenplay. The lighting. 10/10 on every level! AMAZING JOB.
Everything about this video is insane. The voice acting, the animations, the sets, the sounds, the story, everything. I’m looking forward for this film! Also who wants to find out if the number on the van works?
Seriously entertaining and created with such passion at a high level of quality. Felt like I was watching a feature film. The new blood splatter effects were absolutely amazing, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants a tutorial about it.
When I was younger, I remember being blown away by a stop-motion called Redherring (Redherring 2?). Similar feeling with Upshot Affairs. Absolutely awesome animation that will go down in LEGO Brickfilm history. Great work!!
im usually not a fan of lego blender films, but this was great. At first I thought this was a stop motion, thats how real the figures looked. The King ace origin story was really good, as well as the twist with the villains.(I actually had no idea those plumbers were bad guys). The characters seem so real, and the jokes they make are very funny, it reminds me of the deadpool movie. 10/10 best film I've ever seen
This way the most amazing lego film ive ever seen, full stop, no joke, the dialogue is so realistic and fresh the animation is buttery smooth the action and shots are clear and cinematic and its amazing, fantastic work
The music is great, the story is great, the animation is great, I would definitely see a live action of this movie. Love the dialog and the "general kenobi" took me completely by surprise
Quite literally a Lego Tarantino film. Dialogue was great. Story was great. Everything was absolutely amazing. Almost made me forget I was watching Legos. Genuinely didn't want it to end
I don't remember the last time I was this impressed by a video man, that's an awesome movie you just cooked. I wouldn't be surprised if you were landed a sick job because of it man, way to go.
Oh. This film just blew my mind. Great story, atmosphere, character, animation, and voice acting. Your story reminds of some of the films James Gunn directed and written. I hope to see more of the story in the future.
i'm gobsmacked, that was incredibly well written, looked incredible and the cinematography and camerawork was amazing! you got a serious talent! you managed to get the characters emotions and personality so well using a simple lego figure. I look forward to seeing what you produce in the future!
bro wtf, i remenber when I was 10 years old and I watched Lego animations and I thought it was really cool, and seeing that animation was like watching the damn movie, man you got a subscriber and a fan today
Wow! It's hard to judge without knowing how the story continues, but you and your team achieved something really good. I do hope that someday you'll finish it, whether it live action or 3D. Btw, will you be making a bts video? I'd love to see how this was made.

Great start to 2024
Are you going to make more #wewantmore also I saw the house saying 1038 and said they're at the wrong house😅 12:04
Amazing! How many pages did this short film cover of the whole script?
17 of 124
The dialogue is so natural, the animation is top tier and I love the forrest animation cameo
true
Real
the mismatched accents though 😭 i can't tell where the hell this is supposed to take place
You're Quentin Tarantino If he made Lego brickfilms.
I really like the irony of the "hero" being an insane overly cruel vigilante and the "villains" being two pretty likeable guy who are morally gray but make a massive mistake. Also holy shit watching this a second time all of the foreshadowing is top notch
This animation is INSANE, especially for something with LEGOS on TH-cam, crazy man. (=
Damn. Amazing animation. The lighting was INSANE.
I’d guess it was made in blender
@thetubeboi6991it was
As a plumber, I cannot confirm this will happen because of a build up in your system.
Honestly that lady should have known better, who comes to YOUR house UNANNOUNCED and offers free plumbing? Do ya know how much some of those guys can make? Anyone like that is almost DEFINITELY a vampire. 😂
That was so good!!! I loved the twist at the end, and the daughter just standing there.
That was so sad
Excuse me sir, I did not know the DEVIL could animate Lego stop motion
*this is so dark…oh my god…*
ill say it and ill say it again: WE NEED THIS AS A FULL LENGTH FEATURE MOVIE
As an anthology?
this is great. not only well animated, but well written and directed too. such great tension and storytelling, I love this

Man this was fkn amazing. Tarantino vibes. Can’t wait to see what you got next
I love how every Lego 3d animator is going Gaga over this, and I’m still blown away at the lip sync! THE LIP SYNC!!!

It's gonna be such an amazing movie if the first couple minutes in Lego form are this good.
This is soooo good!! If you ever make it into a full live action movie, I'll go see it no matter the financial cost!
I'm adding this too my best stop motion playlist!

The lighting is movie quality!
Holy freaking crap this is beautiful!
16:05 This fight choreography is so good. It reminds me of Bullet Train.
Love how his scar in chapter 1 moves from his eyebrow to over his eye during the flashback sequence. Good movie
The little shuffle in the bathroom is hilarious
every joke those plumbers made got me
This has to be prof enough, that good storytelling it’s after the autor.
This was impressive
"What is the biggest continent in the world, I mean of course population?
Russia" just made me laugh for a moment XD
Loved the scene with "hello there" i responded with "general Kenobi" and then the Plumber did too! Cant stop laughing!
Plot twist done right!!
