I gotta say Dex, one year younger than my dad, and still rocking hard. I'm 22 and I've grown up listening to your music, from the first album till now, never ceases to amaze me. The Offspring are a HUGE part of my childhood and now into my adult hood. Still know all the words to 95% of your songs.

rise and fall rage and grace is my favorite album from them. while i love the older stuff, i think that album showed how much they havve matured. as for this song, it returns them to their original roots and celebrates their style while also growing. to be honest, i always enjoy simple songs like these. p.s. did anyone else hear donkey kong?

I remember reading a professional clown's life story as he told it online, clown college is apparently a very arduous degree to get and most applicants only make it through most of the time due to already being from a circus family. Of about 50 applicants only him and 3 others made it in and only 2 got offers from the Ringling Brothers circus. The rest of his story is really sad shit, bumming around the country by train cars, Hurricane Katrina, years of depression, etc.
The offspring still rock after all these years they tried a different approach but they went back to the music that made them the offspring. If only blink would do the same.
Your guys ability to still produce not only quality music, but stuff that sounds like you is just astounding. I have't been able to stop listening to this and "Dividing by Zero/Slim Pickens" for the last few days, but "Dividing by Zero/Slim Pickens" most because I want to figure out the story. Keep it up. I hope to hear a new album soon, and see you guys live again. Also, maybe Noodles could leave picks on my seats again haha. It was an odd surprise in Boston but nice. Sadly they got ruined.
That Mime would be a kickass supervillain, or hero. The Offspring guys have had a good life. It must be awesome to be flying your own plane, eating a burger with your own hot sauce (that's pretty damn good I might add), and say to your best friend, "What if we just film a bunch of clowns beating the shit out of each other?" No worries at all. I do miss the old Offspring raw punk days, but the bandmates are too cool to hate. Their interviews and stuff always crack me up. Truly just a bunch of guys having fun in life and not caring too deeply about anything.
That was the greatest fight sequence ever. The mime was a nice ending. Hammer would have been less cheesy at the end if they didn't cut-rate it into the scene.
All of Offspring video's are awesome. All of the directors seem to get the Offspring's personality. I love this video, which is weird cause I don't really like clowns. Their video's always look like a lot of fun. And this is a timeless classic song that will end up being in a lot movies.
I'll admit, this song had to kind of grow on me a bit. I didn't like it at first, it seemed kind of... subdued. But the the more I heard it, and digested the lyrics, the more I thought about jobs I had in the past and people I'd met and all just kinda clicked. Now it's one of my faves, right up there with divide by zero and gotta get away.

you know what? offspring and dexter sounded the same all along ever since they emitted the punk, its not just the recent songs, only difference is that back then their songs had strong messages and meaningful lyrics, they where so relatable that you dint even care that they pretty much every other song had the same rhythm.

you know what? offspring and dexter sounded the same all along ever since they emitted the punk, its not just the recent songs, only difference is that back then their songs had strong messages and meaningful lyrics, they where so relatable that you dint even care that they pretty much every other song had the same rhythm.
