I made this yesterday Sunday for my family with rice and my husband practically warned me not to give him any other sauce with rice again😂.... it was really tasty and delicious.....
Yaaaaay, 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻. So so happy to read this.
@@Ifyskitchen thank you so much ma'am
😂😂😂😂😂
Looks really lovely and yummy, I’m definitely trying this
Thi is efo riro(spinach/vegetable stew).
Edikaikong is vegetable soup.
Also the preparation steps are quiet different, there is an absence of a pepper sauce base in Edikang Ikong, which is critical for Efo Riro.
Afang is made from afang vegetable (okazi in Igbo) and waterleaves. It is very similar to Edikang ikong. The afang leaves differentiates them since edikang ikong soup is traditionally made with water leaves and Ugu while afang soup is made with okazi and waterleaf vegetable.
Anyways! Great cook 👍.
Yes this is not for swallow, this good to go with rice and yam
Thank you, I was going to say this is vegetable stew not soup.

This looks really good. Please why must the leaves be washed with hot water first?
She explained that it's a method of preservation called Blanching. It helps to preserve the colour of the vegetable.
