I grew up here in Detroit, I'm 53, so I've been a fan of Em, since the beginning. Now, I have aggressive Multiple Sclerosis, and it's on my bucket list, to see Em, in concert. Or, even meet him. People don't understand him, in this new age of music. Everything is cookie cutter now, no one new artist stands out. They all do the same thing. I've watched all these reaction videos, and only us older ones, know Em's power. The young ones actually think, that little weirdo MGK, has talent, he doesn't and never will. Peace.

What Eminem said about the Grammys, I feel about the Oscars. Every year films and performances that people really enjoy either just get nominated or are over looked, and the winners are for movies that people either never heard of before the awards shows or is a movie that didn’t do much for anyone that saw it, yet will win the top prizes just because the Academy have their picks already. Sure some actors and actresses within the last few years won who deserved it, yet the awards for Best Director and Best Picture go to films that many didn’t hear about or see until Award season. Why can’t a science fiction film that gets nominated win Best Picture and Best Director? Or even honor those in the acting department? The Academy, like the Grammys, have a bias between certain genres and will rarely give a top prize to those who deserve it anymore.

I always suspected for years all those award shows were mostly about who you know or if they like you rather than how talented you are and now he confirmed it .
One of the worst offenders is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . They still have not inducted certain people who have been around for a long time and made major contributions to rock but instead the assholes at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are letting a lot of them die and so what is that going to be like when they win an award posthumously... won't be much about it that we would want to watch actually at that point .... still no Emerson Lake and Palmer and now two of the three of them are dead . They used to be the biggest on the airwaves at one point
