Shocking lead work!
+Zed Man Agreed! Poor work by previous owner. Could have done with all being redone properly, but so many other poor jobs to fix, that a quicker repair was needed here, as in the video.
Good repair until time and money to have it redone properly as it should have been when installed.
Yep, even the frames/locks are now getting stiff so will replace in the summer, probably.
How much will this job be for one window?
It depends where you're located, but figure on a half days work, so £100 would be reasonable, if you can find a 'reasonable' tradesman that is interested in doing it.

No, disagree as the waterproofness is then very dependant on the underlying flet or membrane which can easily get holed.
lead is poisonous yet they used it in the UK for god knows how long for water pipes.....😂
Yes they did! But a long time ago and practically all of it removed now. Worse than that is the metals they use in dentistry. Mercury! Nickel etc ☠️
Well actually, lead is still widespread. Usually it runs from outside isolator tap into building then swaps into copper. I see it all the time. Victorian houses are usually the culprits.
