Terrific video thank you. Is that code 4 lead …? Do you know is there a Uk building regs standard for the distance the upstands inside / and at the sides stand up, and the flashing outside drapes down below the underside of cill ? (Ie the dimensions not set by the window frame !) I can’t find any dimensional specifications anywhere on line …

Not regs as such. Most work would be to Lead Sheet Association guidelines. Most lead manufacturers have a basic run down on their sites.

Can I ask why you weld your pieces upside down? Does it make it a stronger weld? Or just your preference?
