One idea you have to sell your soul for. We have no chance against all the richies that buy our ideas or get us in trouble.

Most importantly don't just read what's in the book but to apply them in your life.
Taking action is the most important thing!

Fiction doesn't entertain everyone. It has its own terms and conditions which don't fix in your little office cubicles.

That adds up to 18 hours. That's 6 hours left. If you're going to be poor, remember it's your choice.

That's not the fault of reading. That's the fault of many jobs that demand long hours. For some jobs, it can't be helped: you have to work long hours. But for other jobs, this shouldn't necessarily be the case. Do you have weekends off?

Poor vision or victim like vision.
We all start with differents cards in hands. However, to be successful, the recipe is always the same : act, learn, never give up, never stop to improve, you'll be above the others. Money will come. Maybe it will take you more time if you start with nothing in the middle of nowhere, but if you learn to read and have access to internet or library, it's up to you to become a beast or to stay common. There is nothing wrong to stay average as long as it allows you to have the lifestyle you want.
Luck can help to save time, but if you are a poor human, you will get poor financially again. If you have a rich state of mind, you will be rich financially.
People who stated the kind of things you said rather waste their time to complain than take actions.
I hope that you'll create a business one day or manage a bunch of people in a company, understanding the cost of labor and the work that had be done by your boss that allowed him to hire you and give you a decent salary (even if you want more).
The "bad / selfish" boss exist. They confirm the rules.
Have a good life my dear.
