    What’s the point of all of the indents in the bowl? Is it to keep the dog busy or something?

    You call the new dog bowl great for enrichment, your dog calls it a pain in the rear 😂

      The bone thing is detachable and the silicone piece can be removed, so it's easier to clean than you might think :)

    We got our puppy from the shelter. She came to us super bloated. She pooped about eight times the day we brought her home not solid at all and then the next day she was throwing up. I asked them what kind of food they fed her and she said that they didn’t know it was all donation based, but mostly it is chicken kibble. 😑 we think she may have some tummy issues. Do you think the native pumpkin powder would be better to give her or the goat milk maybe a little bit of both?

    • @RachelFusaro
      @RachelFusaro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Awh poor little one! This is actually pretty common with shelter puppies. It can be stress, illness or worms. I’d get to a vet just to make sure there’s nothing going on internally! Then once cleared with vet, yes native pet can often help with loose stool

    As a 20 year dog food researcher, i am in craze at how i cannot keep up with my own knowledge. I operate my own petsitting business and am working on my clients to feed more natural foods. I feel bad though because i somehow ended up with a dog gettimg colitis, learning all over again. I stopped kibble a long time ago but it occured overnight

      O.k what breed is he.
      Because I have a Aussi doodle.
      And poodles have a sensitive stomach.
      So don't know if I can feed her ones a day, a big meal.
      Mebey 2 times is already to much in one go.
      I feed her 3 times a day still.
      What do you think.
      She is 6 months now.
      Mebey I can try feeding her 2 times a day?

    • @RachelFusaro
      @RachelFusaro  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi love! Poor pup. I’d definitely get to a vet asap. There are “natural” dewormers but aren’t always super effective. Keep me posted!

    I don't trust the store raw and gently cooked, they seem to have an awful lot of recalls for pathogens.

    • @RachelFusaro
      @RachelFusaro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kibble has *millions* of pounds of recalls due to pathogenic bacteria per year 😔 Pathogens are hard to fully avoid, but luckily, dogs are well equipped to handle it! And this is why sourcing is so important

      @@RachelFusaro I know they just had a really huge one on some of the vet formula. Recalls are the reason Ive been getting the Carna4 recently because I found out they test the batches.

    I am an emergency vet that works in a specialty hospital with a heavy cardiology focus. I can tell you from personal experience that the DCM/grain link is REAL. I have diagnosed a number of dogs with heart failure from these diets at young ages (

    • @Tuner9069
      @Tuner9069 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Raw nutrient dense animal meat/bones/fat is more bioavailable than if it were cooked. You can tell how nutrient dense a diet is by the size of the stools and how often they go. More bioavailable nutrients = less frequent poops.

    I love all your videos so much, I literally ALWAYS learn so much from them! Also I love your bowl and would like to get 1 is it in your favorite products? I'm going to check asap super excited. I'm worried about my Boomer he is a poop eater (only my other dogs poop) I'm worried about worms & parasites I don't even know about I've been adding crushed pumpkin seeds but would love ideas how to stop this in the first place
