Una Oración hecho canción! Sería como El Padrenuestro...pero está Oración sería la Moderna... Grande George !! Todos te queremos Tu espíritu sigue vivo!
i just saw a vid of Springsteen covering this song and also leaves out the Hare Krishna part. Thats the icing on the cake. I'm sure George would have wanted the Hare Krishna chant included.... more than any other part of the song. Krishna is very dear to George.... and George to Krishna.
Wow! I loved this song back when I was 10 or 12 years old... and I´m a die-hard John Mayer fan... but I didn´t know I could get it both together! Thanks so much :-)))
Stop judging, I have heard a lot of singers sing this song, and they all put their special spin on it, it is one of my favorite songs. George Harrison would be please, he was not a judgemental man, stop the negative comments regarding John Mayer.
There Sir George had the concept of Almighty where he induce My Sweet Lord It dies not matter which religion you belong. I m Indian n he meant by Almighty.
@snoozeyoulose19 Co-op radio FTW! It is very annoying. Only ever heard waiting on the world to change and that was on when terry wogan was still going. Heard heartbreak warfare once on rock fm at half one in the morning. Still nice to know that his talent stretches out so far that he doesn't need to cpome over here and plug his songs and have campaigns promoting them yet he still performs sell-out concerts over here and his music is bleeding onto the radio without any third party help. Mayer!
@fjrsm its a B looks like hes touching the G note on the low E string but hes not. x24442 is the b chord but he might also be doing 224440 just try those and try some combinations you'll get it
No. George Harrison worshiped Hari Krishna or something, but the Chiffons redid it with christian views, even though it was their song hes so fine originally but George killed it like a boss with my sweet lord. I love George and John ;) haha. Johns my real fav though. Lennon btw. and mayer too is another inspiration,
but thats why George put in the Hallelujah part. to show that God is one, dispite someones religion. i think that just goes to show the depth of John Mayer compared to the depth of George Harrison.
heylover3 Ye, the difference between an all encompassing equal unbiased person as opposed to someone not quite as advanced/deep as yet. If you're going to do a cover do it properly and wholly, that was the whole point of the way dear george wrote the song, to show the DEPTH of inclusivity and equality and respect. Hare Krishna, Hallelujah, Guru Bramha guru Vishnu guru devo maheshwara, etc etc
This version has a really good slide intro! I love the effect
Michael Torres Hey I know you!!!
On our way to Orlando!!!
Michael Torres Im upset at you but maybe one day we will look at this and smile 😊 I love you 😘 my Michael Myers 💙
WoW..!
I wonder what tuning he is using. Very good indeed.
This cover was amazing it really suits John Mayer's voice
Seriously tight rhythm section. Great cover.
The song really suits his voice
the guy on slide has good tone. He's almost nailed that Harrison signature sound.
He's Robbie McIntosh. He actually played in Paul McCartney's touring band for a while.
Always have liked this song. Praise to you Lord
Amen
I think God loves this song
Sweet cover. Sweet vocals by John.
I’m crying. I love this song and I LOVE JOHN. THANK YOU

Awesome song, awesome cover. Great thing, the great music of the past is still here today and still has an effect on people :-)
Robbie McIntosh is and will always be the MAN!! What a player.
Great! Thank you John! 🎈🎼💙💛
Amo esta cancion, las progresiones de Harrison son increibles, la parte que cambia la tonalidad usando los disminuidos esta increible
Musically sound, best cover I have heard of this song, backup vocals could us a tune-up though.
just needs one strong vocalist on the high harmonies
i just saw a vid of Springsteen covering this song and also leaves out the Hare Krishna part.
Thats the icing on the cake. I'm sure George would have wanted the Hare Krishna chant included.... more than any other part of the song. Krishna is very dear to George.... and George to Krishna.
People forget he was sued and lost for plagiarism on this song.
same, Johns my all time favourite musician and guitar hero, but its a bit disrespectful to not cover the song as how George wrote it.
I can not believe the haters out there. If you do not respect talent and have the time to be judgemental about anyone . Wow. ........
Very nice rendition. Excellent.
Wow! I loved this song back when I was 10 or 12 years old... and I´m a die-hard John Mayer fan... but I didn´t know I could get it both together! Thanks so much :-)))

La version linda, exelente y bella ,siii
Thanks. It's lovely to hear him play that slide. Sounds very much like George Harrison would've played it, especially at 2:19
Stop judging, I have heard a lot of singers sing this song, and they all put their special spin on it, it is one of my favorite songs. George Harrison would be please, he was not a judgemental man, stop the negative comments regarding John Mayer.

Wow
Nice slide!
My sweet lord without hare krishna is incomplete
The concept of George Harrison since went India he introduced Ram as God you can sing in both versions. I m Indian n knows well Hindu scripture.
There Sir George had the concept of Almighty where he induce My Sweet Lord
It dies not matter which religion you belong. I m Indian n he meant by Almighty.
Other way round 🎶
He actually became a Christian before he died and rededicated the song to Jesus Christ
George gave his life to Christ brother.
Who's listening with me on Jan 10th 2021
Класс ! 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐

You have to check out Trevor Jackson's version of this!
Me Gustó,La Canción Muy Religioso y En Memoria del Gran George Harrison y Me Facina 😁
Does anyone know Robbie's tuning? I really need to know. Thank you
@fjrsm its a B
looks like hes touching the G note on the low E string but hes not.
x24442 is the b chord but he might also be doing 224440 just try those and try some combinations you'll get it

YIM YAMES!
Can someone tell, also, the second chord john does (in tabs)? Thank you so much.
Que guitarra es la roja que trae el señor?
@smithdonone i live in lpool and i love him ;)
Why is the Hare Krishna part left out - this was where George's heart was :(
i dont see the 'download mp3' button
oddly john's guitar seems like it's the quietest of the instruments in the video
but 12 string ftw
Is that sugarfoot moffet on the drums?
but thats why George put in the Hallelujah part. to show that God is one, dispite someones religion.
i think that just goes to show the depth of John Mayer compared to the depth of George Harrison.
