- When I first heard about the Interloper ARG, I became highly interested in it.
Sorry for the bad quality, it is my first time filming and editing a 16 minute video.

the heavy in the last demo got barraged by one of those anime scenes where the guy teleports around and hits him really fast and shit
Ok jokes aside, i think this is a type 5 demo from the interloper's (crasher) perspective, and if Data52 is the same thing as we saw in the video, that means demos are *stored* and put into the "generated demos" list aka the demos we "generate" when we put in the secret command. It'll also mean these aren't generated, but randomly selected from a list and viewed when we put in the command.
If so, we'll most likely find the type 5 of Data86 in the next interloper episode.
Also the demo that seemed familiar to Amedi (aka the soldier shooting rockets from the same place the soldier from one of the first SFM tutorials was doing so) is way too ignored, if it's NOT an easter egg then it makes the ARG WAYYYYYY WAY deeper than it is, bringing VALVE deeper into the ARG.
Hope this comment isn't ignored.
Btw, now that i think about it... why is the type 5 demo on the DMNPC POV instead of the interloper? I mean, they are the interloper. They have fuckin demo void. Although if the answer is because their demos are classified, then how did the DMNPC record their demos? Are they designed to do so, or are there another reason? Perhaps DMNPC also means demo maker/demo making non-player character. Dunno if im just that dumb but please answer.
That's what i was thinking!! i have no idea but maybe it's what you said but maybe they are recorded tests? there are too many options to choose from i think so i don't know...@@ilalebisap1
looks like we're both dumb :/
That Heavy must either be animated very well or done with an Xbox Kinect because it's very smooth. I guess it's either edited to be corrupted or actually corrupted.
@@ilalebisap1 Huh? What do you mean DMNPC POV?
well yeah
Those unknown type demos are actually (as theorized by comments from another vid) the "crasher" that eida mention. The teleporting sound and the deleting might be the crasher's way of identifying an anomaly like DMNPC, and is what i assume the crasher "tried" doing in data 86. the crasher seems to "tried" deleting the corrupted heavy but failed, causing it to identify the heavy as an anomaly (AKA DMNPC).
Holy shit i got pinned
no u didn't@@ilalebisap1
For the stupids: Mfs that fly around like noclip in gmod trying to identify any Dynamic objects, none of this objects are supposed to be in any source game, and if they detect one, they call in the umbrella mfs, sliding their way into deleting the dynamic object like its "virtual insanity"

This video is too well edited, and they only have 2 vids. . .
Something tells me this channel is important.
The "CRASH" section was a dead giveaway
If this channel is part of the story though, then why did they call attention to the "Lost connection" event trigger? I feel like that probably isn't diegetic.
I also can't tell if the Heavy model referencing Anomidae by name was supposed to be in-universe, or just a "backstage" thing. If it's the former, the implications are pretty huge.
Just saw the new video. I knew this channel was important. Plus all the other channels he mentioned are similar to each other in editing and subjects.
@bennemeth625 I think it might be because it's an obvious part that people with see. So, not talking about it would be weird
Especially when there's few things to look at in the area.
i like to call These demos of the player flying and deleting things as Type 6 or
Most mature Gmod DarkRP admin
I would also call these a type 6 demos, but I will wait for Anomidae to name these.
They are 100% type 6, and there is a chance that they could be from the perspective of the umbrella men. And the sound is then interacting with the world.
Yea i made a similar theory in one of my trash videos@@sucks_at_cs2
Type 4.5?
Most mature Gmod DarkRP admin LMAO
You'll also notice that the Type ? (Crashers) are moving in machine time. Potentially thinking and acting within frames, like a machine. It's also makes me think of tool assisted speedruns, where they can do the same thing, using tools to act within frames to do things at an inhuman speed.
You'll also the crashers deleting things, no clipping, and potentially spawning things as we see in data36. Which tells me they have administrative powers like a 'debug mode', if you know what that is.
But maybe they're not thinking in frames, since the scout in data52 is clearly the scout from Aida's video. But how did Anomidae get this as a Demo?
The most fascinating thing in this is the level of technically knowledge Anomidae has to make all this happen.
isn't 4:52 similar to the EidaMona TF2 ghost? A scout, turning to face the corridor, then flying off into skybox the same way it did it in the video? Perspective of a crasher?
Did you notice that too
I was just watching that video a second ago
Jesus, Anomidae sure put a lot out for people to explore and analyze, good stuff. Well made video, I'll be sure to check out the rest of this stuff. Really cool that we got a new type 5 and a completely new type of demos.
Demo 11 seems really interesting to me. Since it has smooth camera movement like an actual player would, and there’s another pyro, who seems to have cosmetics.
It looks at the control point, then at the pyro.
It’s seems… weird.
I thought the same way. But what I noticed is that the demo file was actually corrupt and it ended earlier than it should've. I will soon make a video of the things I have missed in these demo files.
oooo alright@@NIKToper
There is text chat in that demo.
@@GhostyGump I believe it sbetween someone named "Jman", and also "Eida"
its a convo between jman and eida, guesing before eidas breakdown and deleting everything
Given that the Type ?'s delete everything while noclipping and making a noise everytime they make an input, I think it's easy to say that these are the Umbrella POV's. Looking at Eida's demo that crashed his game, scout hit a pose that looks as if he had an invisible umbrella resting on his shoulder. He then flies off in the same direction seen here.
I've watched a lot of videos of people exploring the demos at this point, but yours is definatley my favorite by far! For your first 16 minute edited video it's impressive how well you replicated Anomidaes pre Interloper 5 style editing.
I seriously hope you cover the other games demos at some point! :D

I have dealt with demos a lot, if you find a crash you can skip the crash and see the rest of the demo using gototick past 4 ticks from the crashing tick.
the crashes are intentional
If you look at the end of data 36 it behaves as a Type 1, which actually suggests Type 1 is the same entity.
The only difference being if there is/isn't something to erase.
its similliar to deleting ragdolls in starter sfm map (i have some experience using it)
The type ? Is what happens when you forget to pay your staff for the game
data52 is the blue scout from eidas video so maybe the new demo types are the povs of crashers?
1:07 you monster, how could you do that 1!1!1!1!1!
Jokes aside despite this being your first time doing something like that, This was a REALLY great video
I personally think that these "type ?" demos are connected to/are the umbrella men because everytime we see one of them the start to delete every single prop or bot on the map just like the umbrella men do. And the heavy in the last demo is somehow "immune" to being deleted? But also at the end we see the heavy get lifted up and start glitching out. Maybe he has more power the the other demo/npc's?
I love that you tried to make it in his style
Big props for that!
I have no idea what is going on, but this is still creppy... good work!
4:11
my democopter goes SOI SOI SOI SOI
Data 11 is very important it hides the breakdown of Eida.
Well for the new Types for now are gonna be named Type 6A/B
A:perspective of a Umbrella man placing or removing objects
B:perspective of a Crasher.
And Type 7: Hybrid.
This new type is interesting to say the least. It Starts as a Type 3/4 but then it evolves as a Type 5/6A. The most noticible thing is what is written in the chat.
It loses connection to the server, it tries again to connect and the fails to connect. But then sometime later and i thinks it the DMNPC typing:"Bye Bye", and just runs away.
Could be just me, but at roughly 5:24, the scout in Eida's video kinda does the same broken/jittery movement that the Heavy does in Demo86, which makes me wonder if it could be a possible source of the crashing?
underrated and good editing
Data 52 is the jumpscare scout from the ieda video holy shit
i feel like that sound effect that plays during type 6 demos happens when the camera deletes things, but the heavy wasn't able to delete the screwed up heavy in that demo.
I'll call type ? is type 6 contains the player becoming a cheater flying and deleting stuff and data86 is a mixed version of 2 types: type 5 and type 3/4
data52 seems to be the demo file for the "Crasher" Eida encountered in a video, but something i need to point out is the fact that it doesn't take the same path, instead of going through the wall in the room Eida encountered it in, it instead flies through the doorway
this might be a recreation of Eida's video generated from the FSky servers or the DM Editor
whoever did data86 did a great job of tracking
for this being your first time editing a 16 minute long video i have to say its actually very good
Btw, some of these demos (type 5) work in GMod, I tested some of the type fives and some seem to be unstable, or work fine.
This vid feels a lot like official interloper vids
Fun fact: the one where demoman deletes a bunch of things then flies while spinning like a helicopter has well been affectionately nicknamed “helicopter
Cool how you edited this in the same way as anomidae
Type ? Looks like a reverse version of type 5. Instead of being the victim, the player is the one doing the silly murder stuff. Type -5
the you labled as a question mark, we could call a type 6 or type 5-delete
14:32. This part intrigues me a little because of the name. The DMNPC part could be Dungeon Master Non Player Character, a term found amongst DnD groups for a character made by the dungeon master (person who runs the tabletop game for he players, makes the world etc) and join the party (players) on their quests etc. I know its a shot in the dark with this but with the following text about entities referring to this entity as DMNPC_Anomi4e (which is also funny for 4e aka fourth edition dungeons and dragons) just does not seem too coincidental.
I mean, we've already decided that it refers to "Dynamic NPCs" but it could be a fun reference as well I guess, though that seems entirely unrelated to the series.
@@pleasegoawaydude ah thanks for letting me know
Data23 was interesing, at 3:28 its like the pyro hears the echos that are now more distant after they fell from the platform, and then turns around because it sounds like another pair of footsteps, maybe this AI is learning what an echo is for the first time
8:21 mewing music starts playing
i think type 6 is the POV of the umbrella man / entites that can crash at best, there has been somewhat of a pattern between the original eidamona crash video in tf2 and also the fact that anomidae's heavy was weirdly a messed up form, and the heavy was seemingly afraid of the type 6 "player" playing it
"Type ??" first thing that comes to mind is perspective of umbrella man for me
Same
6:32 no way wutville! in interloper!! is this a crossover episode?
Honestly, I think data86 its trying to remove whatever error is in there but because the connection was gone it couldn't do anything. (most likely an unwanted/accidental spawn of a crasher)
good work! i will take it for my interloper playlist, ok?
Thanks!
does the map terrain of Demo17 remind anyone of the map terrain from the Higuy Demo except textureless and seemingly without visible water or is it just me?
in data36 its actually a map in the base game (i think its called background or something (you can enter it from the create server button)).
however when demo looks up to the sky to try and delete the resupply cabinet, there seems to be the outline of a map much higher up in the sky.
i dont know if that sky map is present in the base game though.
its similliar to deleting ragdolls in starter sfm map (i have some experience using it)
also thats an starter sfm map btw
Maybe the crashers are like a drm to prevent other people from copying the dmnpc without having a server connection or competing with fsky
guys the heavy in BYE BYE map is the honoured one
Data 65 looks like a type 4 with a goal that’s trying to act like a type 3
data86 looks like the heavy is trying to get its soul back by teleporting into it somehow, as we saw in the other type ? demos the thing can't do that
Those type ?’s would technically be type 6’s.
The red heavy looks to be *from* the perspective of an Umbrella Man. Perhaps its' creation.
Data 86 looks like a type five but from the pov of a type 3
idk if anyone noticed this but in the type 6 demos the entity actually deletes assets on the map
Now as far as arg goes i want to know how they edited the demo files
has anyone tried switching the model of the heavy dmnpc to like a half life 2 citizen or something, it could maybe better show what the dmnpc is doing
data43 man, idk why it reminded me of Eida's recent re-upload. It talked for only a moment but sounded fairly similar.
So, the sound effect you hear in the new types of Demos commonly seems to coincide with an entity disappearing. Are these demos potentially an Umbrella Man attempting to clear up models to leave an empty map for testing? In the Heavy clip, the sound effect is getting spammed. Is the player POV attempting to delete the crashing Heavy model, and panicking when it realises it can't?
data 36 is sfm map. its similliar to deleting npcs on starter map
did you know in data52 were playing as the blue scout and were going in bounds and out of bounds in the same position as the corrupted blue scout we can tell as when we go out of bounds it crashes and as you can see the corrupted blue scout flys into the sky and crashes the game
does this mean anomi can mew? he said bye bye
Anomi can't lose that mewing streak
Can you make a tutorial on how ro root the demos inside the games i looked up for it but couldnt find anything helpful
On data 52 we see the same route the Scout took in Weird tf2 crash on Eidas archive
Edit: Also on data 65 we see the same structure we see in the void expedition
if someone starts saying that the hammer editor is now scary because of this god damn ARG, I am going to do something bad
The hammer editor IS terrifying
Not because of the ARG, but because it's a nightmare to operate
@@Kyle-dk9iy Hammerplusplus or the one valve has made and never touched again?
This things can delete props and Players, why he don't delete bots? Why are they still in game?
Talk behind the scene for a moment how the fuck did they do this? It's really impressive, there are some demos that I know they being "captured" like the demoman and everyone dying is really easy to recreate but that heavy like how the hell?
10:55 I have noticed that all of their eyes are a white, not only scout's but also heavy's in the next map their eyes are normal again
The map generation code is... Learning English, very very possible considering how much text is in the game
USE"C" AND HOVER YOUR MOUSE OVER IT, PLEASE
10:47 only scout pyro and soldier? that is interesting.
I think you skimmed over Data48. I heard it's really bad Type 4 gameplay, but near the end, it turns into a Type 6.
RIP Hi man 😢😢😢😢
At 3:30 if you look before the demo ends, the umbrella man pops up on the crosshair of the pyro for just a frame
thats the cursor
@@cloneian2848if it is then my bad, it's hard to see it when it blends with the console
@realpablo4 Yeah, it surely was my cursor, lol. You almost made me think that it actually was the Umbrella Man. Mistakes happen.
that text saying "the mapgen learned to make text" is probably a mistake from whoever creates this maps, does this imply that they procedurally generate these maps?
wait so none of these demos are by valve themselves oh so thats what the interloper part means i dont really care about args but i hope you guys all have fun
how did you manage to play the data86 on gmod ??
Isn't that from tf2 ??
How did you do that ?
I copied the map and pasted it into my gmod game, I didn't think that it would work, but it surprisingly did.

why is there chat messages in type 86 8:26
Hey NIKToper,I strongly advise u to explore CSGO's demos and maps as your next video, especially a map:Data 3, this map includes a weird, new and dangerous entity, in our interloper arg group of China,we called it as "big black head",if u check data or data2,the two maps didn't be seen in Anomidae's videos and live(or i didn't see that).Whether TH-cam users and interloper lovers is expecting the exploration of CSGO. By the way, the demos of CS:GO is also a lot. Good luck!
Oh by the way. if u play data3 as a command "playdemo" rather than to use map to play it. you will see at the end of demo. The chat messages will turn to "goodbye".Instead of a few "hello"
Thanks for the advice! I will make sure to explore these CS:GO demo files for my next video.
Also, sorry for not responding that long. I wasn't checking the comments while I was making a new upload.
