I got this model this Summer. And it's perfect. Wow. So much diver watch for $65 USD. The build is excellent. As large as it is, it fits really nice due to the lug length beneath the case. The standard 3-link bracelet is OK, but swapped it for a FKM rubber accordion diver's strap in black. It looks fantastic! And fits superbly. The strap lightens the package. I bought another AddiesDive watch after this, and equally impressed by the 2nd watch, a dressy GADA homage of a Rolex Explorer and Grand Seiko! Tiffany blue textured dial. Exceeded expectations.

This particular puck style originally created by Helios is a masterpiece in design. Just stunning. Only the Oris Aquis range of cases can compare to its it's case design. Very clever creation by Helios.

Couldn't believe the price (€74 to Ireland, Sep '23), so I went for it. Also cannot wait to see your mod! The full lume on the seconds hand is quite nice.

I cannot understand how the ADDIES PUCK is 75$ while the STEEL DIVE one is around 200$ ?!? It's a shocking difference . I know that SD has slightly better quality than ADDDIES watches but still , 2.5 times more ?
Surprisingly the SD PUCK doesn't have the best lume - the lume you see in SD1954 / SD1973 or SD1979 - . Wonder if the ADDIES PUCK has better lume being 2.5 times less expensive in the same time :)

I just received mine in on Tuesday, its on the wrist now actually. I love it so far. 8" wrist so it wears well. I lucked out apparently, bezel is nice and a little tight, no backplay. my date wheel appears to be aligned perfectly thankfully. I purchaed mine on Amazon though. Changed the clasp immediately
Lucky you! I ordered 2 actually, and another one is with perfectly aligned date window, but the bezel is still the same..
@@ShortBetter ugghhhhh that would drive me nuts, I'm sorry about that. I had small little cosmetic issues on my older Addies watches, a Williard and a tuna. Both had manufacturing residue/adhesive where it didn't belong(leaking out under the bezel insert on the Williard and on the rear point on the hour hand in the tuna), sloppy qc but easily fixable. I just received this watch and the white enamel dial sub homage and luckily both are beautiful. I know they are hit or miss to a degree so I pay a bit more and buy on Amazon so I can easily exchange if need be

Just got mine today. It’s great. I would love to find a Seiko dial the same size as the Addiesdive one. The larger body of the watch needs the larger dual.

I own both and would agree, get them both. If I had to choose just one it would be the puck though. As large as it is, it feels a bit sleeker on my wrist

@@stefpix the puck for me wears smaller and sleeker. I can check for sure when I get home on the weight, but the puck feels lighter, or rather that it is less top heavy
@@dubester1982 Thank you. I ordered it on AliX for 56 USD, with coupons. I had sold all my AliX watches. The Tuna was to me the more appealing, buy will give a chance to the Puck. I have several Citizen Promaster. The Puck can be a beater watch with sapphire etc.

Sounds too good to be true… $75 for Sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel , 1000m rating. Should be well over $1000. I guess these claims are fake. But hey for $75 bucks it would still be good value. Just don’t swim with or expect it not to scratch.
You should think about it from another side. Seiko and other famous brands are ridiculously overpriced, and that's why cheaper Chinese watches with the same specs seem to be a joke😅
