It´s a lovely TV. I had it for some 7 years now. 46" mounted on motorized bracket. I have a new LG OLED 65" in my "Movie room" and I still think the BV11 deliver a super picture in comparison. And with the capabilities around sound and speaker connections its unbeatable.
B&O has the most pleasing tech design since the 60's! Just their sound Beosystems from mid-80's to the early 90's are so beautifully designed that still looks modern even with a cassette deck (Beocord) and linear tracking record player (Beogram). Ahh and the remote looks the same since that time too!

Have the same television in regards of controlling the AppleTV you need a PUC cable, they’re not much which sticks onto the AppleTV and sends a IR, I’ve actually got mine inside the BV11, once you’ve connected the cable go to menu, service, PUC management, PUC download and select your product there’s a huge support of product, if you get the opportunity get a BeoLab 11 to connect it’ll add a whole new level to your sound and it looks great.
Congrats on your BV. I bought the BV14 with the smoked oak cover. At the time when i bought it, i was thinking do I go with the BV11 or the 14, after all the 11 would go with my Avant (same tech) or the 14 would be the newer Android version. I use it mainly with Netflix via Apple TV and find the 4K very good. 1080 content is also amazing on the TV, and although the speakers do not look physically big they punch above their weight. The difference between the 11 and the 14 besides the panel and the 14 being Android is the wifi (if you use wifi, i use Ethernet), ability to add oak covers (which you can do on the 11 depending on the model, but earlier ones you may not be able to) and a few other things. The 11 OS is rock solid and was the OS / chassis that aligns with the B&O Network Link (not the older analogue Master Link of the BV10). The design is everything. I have mine leaning against a wall and although i have the easel stand and a wall bracket i haven’t put it up on either yet lol. The 14 is Android and it was nice they skinned the UI to have the B&O flavour that the newer LG models (Eclipse / Harmony) don’t have.
I have the B and O notebook ....I did some mods to the sound....now it is sounds fantastic....I miss the Beo systems of the 80s....I had the B and O Beo 900 back in the day
The B&O products are crazy expensive here in Cape Town, South Africa. Only the wealthy can afford their products. I personally am still a big fan of Full HD content, as the majority of content globally are still available in 1080p quality. Yes, 4K is no doubt better, however we must understand that there is a massive difference in Full HD content being "Up Scaled" to 4K resolution and content in TRUE 4K, such as on YOUTube and Netflix for example. Between these 2 qualities, I believe that there's more content being up scaled to 4K than true 4K quality content. Some might disagree due to the fact that there's a thin line in picture quality between the 2 and most won't see the difference or care about it. My point in all this is that this makes HDTV's still very much relevant in late 2020. I am still using a Samsung 55" H6400 Series 6 Smart 3D LED TV. It's a Full HD TV and still has excellent picture quality. I probably would make a jump onto the 4K bandwagon by this time next year 2021 as I have been following the prices on the High series 4K models of Samsung and LG TV's and can see a steady decline as 8K is the next big current wave in picture quality and the masses would be running towards that. Awesome review of your TV and seeing that you're a Blackberry fan, the TV kinda looks like an over-sized Blackberry Passport at an angle, especially with the screen off. Cheers.
You're so right I'm about to buy a beovision 11 14 40 and the Harmony 65 at the same time but this is without the best looking TV especially with the oak paneling on the 11-14- this is a big step for me but if you know what you want, settle for nothing less I agree this is nicer looking than the Harmony 🙂 matt 🇬🇧
Do not buy the Beovision 14! It’s not good - it has a android system and it’s full of bygs - buy a Eclipse/Harmony or beovison avant frist gen or a beovison 11 😄 ( from a Danish b&o freak)

I have the same tv and I love it. mine has the motorized stand. I also have a bv 10/32" and it is also gorgeous. it works very well and it' s so different from those crappy pieces of plastic made in korea or china. unfortunately when it will die I'll have no replacement from b&o since they no longer make tvs and I don't want an LG tv even if it has superb sound and a nice aesthetic. I will have to turn to Loewe which is sad as I had beovisions since 1968 when i got my bv 2800 which i still own!
On 2013 I spent a great deal of money buying a 55" top of the line B & O TV which proved to be the most unreliable TV I have ever owned requiring numerous visits by engineers and replacement of major components. I sold it within warranty at considerable financial loss.
I don't want to hate but its outrageous that you would get this TV over something that is cheaper while having much better picture quality, sleek, slimmer design and being bigger. Maybe at the time of this video Sony had the a8 Oled TV which would have been a great buy and still deliver incredible image quality.
To connect your beoremote to the apple tv u need a connection device only bang and olufsen dealers can provide. Just contact the nearest dealership and they will get it done.
Nice TV, fits well in to your contemporary apartment, hope you get many years of enjoyment from it. For your next video, would love to see you do a review of the Unihertz Titan mobile phone, lots of mixed reviews of it on TH-cam and I think that it needs some Ole honesty about it?
In my opinion, it all comes down to personal taste. It has happened a lot to me as well. Sometimes you like something that's not trendy but looks perfect to you. For example, I don't like such huge form factor of the devices nowadays as well as the trendy notch cutouts. I prefer smartphones with compact form factor and flat screens (I can live without a huge screen lol... but others can't do the same with small displays). 😁
@@Ruilmerijk I recently checked it out. It is indeed a perfect phone (in my opinion). Also, I like Nokia's current design language. I wish Nokia 5.1 Plus didn't had that big notch cutout. It is also one of the best phones out there in terms of ergonomics.

Saw one of these for CAN$600, sold locally for a quick sale by a guy who was moving back to Hong Kong. I couldn't communicate well with him, not even basics like 'is it working well?, what kind of mount or stand does it have?' Checked back a half hour later and it was sold. :(
The problem with this LED is that the panel is not close to current OLED TVs. You are buying this to look at the TV instead of turning it on. I am saying this as a big B&O fan and have the 77 inch LG G2 OLED with an Apple TV and B&O Stage sound bar. Stage has way better audio than this with Dolby Atmos and the LG panels are on another level. But hey, horses for courses as they say…

If you would’ve bought it for $10,000 then you got screwed. $2,000 is a lot better. 4K is still a gimmick because you can barely find channels that use 4K resolution.

I'd buy one if they came in woodgrain vinyl vaneer . That way it would match my sofa with the wagon wheel ends on it and the fall farm foilage scene printed on the cushions . Zenith made a television with space phone built into it can you get anything like that on it and can it play a record or 8-track tape ?
Frankly, for the TV I will stay with Sony or Samsung. B&O TV's are hyped up IMO...to impress people with your TV instead of your common sense. Their speakers, on the other hand, are aesthetic art and usually sound good. However, for the same or more money, I personally would go with higher-end audio performance.
From a pure technical standpoint it is a waste of Money. You have to admit though 10k for 1080p ...they know how to upsell ancient tech. Wow. The Resolution "Problem" is of course very personal. Even without my Glasses the TV would just look bad to me. It seems though you are living the Life and enjoying it with all the expensive stuff/brands :)

If you had the exact same 60inch tv with the only difference of one being 1080p and other on 2160p both resting at 5mts from your sitting position I could bet you a thousand dollars you would fail to guess which is which every time. Frame or Sero I might agree.. But 8k is the most useless feature around since standarized viewing distance by Smpte or THX is around 35 degrees, from your sitting position to the sides of the tv.. At whatever distance that ratio gets you (regardless of tv size) it is nearly impossible to discern over 1440 lines of resolution.
Meh, the 'design' of this TV doesn't appeal to me at all. The soundbar is like having a huge extra bezel under the front. The TV just looks bulky. For 2k you can get a nice up to date 4k oled 65'' screen with good design and sound as well. 2000 euro is not a bargain for this outdated, unsupported, legacy device. Shaking my head.

Buy the b and o speakers to go with it. They make art pieces not just tech
