    Thank you for your insights and good information. Visited Canton for the first time last 11/3/23. Followed all your tips, except too late to rent a scooter, but had my wagon 👍 Stayed in the Vendors field and had a good time. Filled my cart and emptied my pockets of cash💸💸😂 Looking forward to returning and branching out to a different part of the fair grounds. On a side note, we headed to downtown Canton, a brief drive away, and shopped the locals's book store, comic shop, and ate lunch at the pastry shop. Brought goodies home from there too. The visit to the square really was the sugar on the cupcake as we were able to visit with the shop owners and such. Wonderful Fall day in Canton🍁🍂 Thanks again for getting us all set up for our first trip to Canton Days. 👍🤗

      Yay Denise!! That’s amazing! November was such a great month to visit-I just love all the hustle and bustle. And it’s so easy to empty the pockets haha!
      And I love downtown canton, and they are always improving it too! Such good food and great shops. We eat at Val’s, Pony Expresso, and Latham Bakery regularly. Isn’t the book shop so cool? And some of my favorite clothing has come from the downtown merchants.
      I’m so happy you found my info helpful! That’s exactly why I’m doing this! Hope you can visit again soon!!!🛼

    Hello, planning on visiting this upcoming year. The place is massive so looking for pointers. I was wondering where the cheaper spots might be? Also where is the antiques?

      Hi!! I'm glad you asked those questions and I've actually been pondering my reply for a few days cuz they are actually challenging questions! When you ask where the cheaper spots may be--I'm wondering if you are a Round Top Antiques Week shopper where the further south you are, the generally cheaper items get. I can't say Canton is like that. I feel like items and price points are rather mixed all over the grounds. Some folks don't budge on their prices, and then sometimes I find things that have been on my list for years, and the prices are shockingly low! If its a slower month, vendors tend to be more willing to go down on prices. I suppose it partially has to do with what you are looking for...I have a map of the First Monday grounds pinned to the first spot on my Instagram page (@thecantonjunkie) and I would say you may want to begin in the yellow shaded area which is called the Famous Vendor Fields. Also the light gray shaded area just north of the yellow area is the Lewis Vendor Fields. As for Antiques--what kind of antiques? Fine European Items? Items from the East Coast? War History Antiques? Vintage Signs? or more like the good farm fresh junk? If you had a specific kind of Antique, please reply and that can help me know what area to point you to. I hope this helped more than it could confuse!! :D

    We are planning to come in March....how will the weather be? and recommendations on a campground for a camper? Thanks!!!

      @thecantonjunkie  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!! So exciting you will be visiting in March! So spring does come early here-but that also means the weather could vary from 40-80 degrees and rain or sun! I would recommend being prepared for any weather and hoping for 78 and sunny!!! 😎 Dress in layers too!
      Although I have personally not stayed in an RV area before, there are several in Canton! When I visit next week, I will write down some contact info for you!

      Hi again! So like I said above, I have not done the RV/Camper thing in Canton, however I did write down a few things for you if you are still looking for a spot. Check out Mill Creek Ranch Resort--looks like they have some nice amenities. Also Sumner RV Park, seems a little more basic but good location to walk to all area attractions and downtown. If you are looking to stay on the First Monday grounds, go to FirstMondayCanton.com to book there as well. Hope yall have a great time!
