Was on the 9 day cruise that kicked off on September 13th, 2023. First cruise in my life and I fell in love with this ship. The staff was amazing and not a day goes by that I don't think of my short time on that boat!

Nice tour, I’ve been on the Sun previously but unless it’s my beloved Jade, I always forget which is which. I’m always surprised by how busy those rummage sales are on the cruises, there’s nothing but tat!
Thanks Krypto! My first NCL cruise was the Jewel but haven’t been on the Jade yet. I’m really taking a liking to their smaller ships lately. Happy cruising!!!

All the staff was so accommodating and kind. They seemed more attentive but I wonder if that’s due to the staff to guest ratio on smaller ships. We’re on the Sky (sister ship) next month. It’ll be interested to see if it’s just as great.
If you know NCL you know the food. No surprises. Lol! I think with all cruise food it’s hit or miss. Some things are great and others not so much. Overall we’re never disappointed.

Me! I book all of my cruises direct. I find it the best way to do the most research and get the best deals.

No, specialty restaurants are an extra charge. Free dining at the MDR’s and the buffet.
TH-cam algorithm keeps sending me to NCL Sun videos like this! Why? Because I keep looking for that ship's videos. Why? Because in late 2019 I had spent 29 days back to back on NCL Sun! One of the best trips of my life! I kept booking while already on the ship. At the end of the final cruise, I tried to book another one, while on the ship. but it was sold out. I kept checking for any available space till 6 AM of the departure day but no luck. It was heart breaking to leave the ship!!!
What??!!! I have never heard of that but it completely makes sense! Did they give you great last minute deals?

@@DestinedJourney Yes, the Future Cruise Desk kept giving me great deals and so I kept booking until I couldn't book until the very last few hours. The staff got used to me--one lone man--mostly sitting alone listening to music on phone via headphones. They kind of become a 'family' to me and I believe were sad to me finally leave the ship. I loved the smaller ship. I loved the staff. I loved that I swam every morning in the relatively cooler and emptier pool--it was a very hot season. I had unlimited booze package but I ate plenty and drank plenty of water to keep me within my senses. I loved the ocean around me and only once or twice I went to ports like Nassau and Key West. I'd do it again in a heart beat! But then I was in-between jobs and now I make too much money to leave the current job. LOL.
Is starlink internet already available on the NCL Sun ?
I don’t think so but we were on last summer and they could’ve upgraded by now.
Do you know if they serve Starbucks refreshers on the Sun?
Hot Tub near Spinnaker Lounge is the Kids's HotTub that's why not used by Adults without Kid's.
I don’t think there are hot tubs designated for kids.
